This company in my opinion needs to have its right to trade taken away from them (Scammed us last) So anyone out there who think this company has been dishonest or misled them (like we do) into signing up to there services write a review but also if you have proof send a copy of your complaint to all of the following.

Fantastic overall experience, would like to personally highlight the great customer service received by Charles. The wealth of knowledge was incredible, especially if you're like myself and are so unaware of how much is being overpaid. Would recommend to anyone looking into the rateable value of their property.

Unfortunately we having the same experience that many other customers have had. In our opinion the contract from CCS is  far from being clear and is ambiguous, “ the admin fee becomes payable where our survey department considers there are sufficient grounds to submit an appeal through the CCA service. When we last communicated with CCS there had been no appeals submitted, only an initial Check and as had been pointed out, there are no grounds to argue for a reduction in either valuation in the 2023 or 2026 and yet the invoices keep coming. We will be taking legal action of our own to recover the initial fees paid.

I read some reviews of this company before I started working with them and noticed people were negative about the amount of time it took to get things moving. Having worked with CCS myself now I'm pretty sure the long timescales are entirely out of their hands and is down to the Valuation Office taking ages. The team at CCS have been professional and I've got the result I wanted - a refund for business rates.

Robert Kaye provided a very personal service during a difficult matter. After a prolonged and frustrating process, Rob took ownership of finding a resolution. He was professional, listened carefully, and worked creatively to find a solution that worked for our business. Rob is clearly committed to his clients and willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend asking for Rob specifically if you work with this company.

I had a really positive experience with Rob in the customer service team. He was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process. My questions were answered clearly, and he made sure everything was resolved quickly and efficiently.

This "company" now operating as the Rating Bureau (how many name changes can they get away with) are still spamming us with emails promising rate reductions.

We stupidly let them act for us three years ago and once they had carried out the initial on site survey and "investigated" potential savings, we decided not to progress since there was virtually no benefit after the fees and their cut of the rebate was taken. We at no point agreed for any further work to be done. Regardless they sent us an invoice for their full fees which we refused to pay. They immediately escalated to enforcement (DCBL - nasty bast**ds) and then straight to Court and obtained an order. DCBL then sent Bailiffs several times with all the inherent additional costs added and it took hours of work to put a stop to this by applying to the court for s stay of action. They had turned up at our home address, not connected to the business at all on the chance that business assets had been hidden there. They clamped my son's car on a private driveway necessitating us proving that the car was not a business asset.
They will not stop... Believe me when i say that they act through their solicitors at the first sign of any resistance to pay and the speed it reaches enforcement, then Court then bailiffs is abnormally swift.
The guys that owns the business, changes the business name every time he gets negative reviews so the current name being used "The Rating Bureau" is a front for CCS and all the fraudulent, aggressive and dishonest actions are all still there.
DO NOT under any circumstances engage with these people.
IGNORE any rating on this platform above 1 star since they are more than likely spurious.

You can do all the work they claim to do yourself and it costs nothing. You are probably more qualified than they are!

Furthermore - you singularly failed to accept we did not want you to go ahead, you billed us for work that we did not authorise, you went straight to enforcement then to court. So I entirely refute yourlies that you do not do so without first engaging with the customer. If what you are saying is true, then provide the evidence that you did in fact engage and also call records and emails where we accepted and authorised the "work" you carried out on our behalf, and please do not refer to the signed site survey and the initial search to see if we could save money and infer from that you had permission to proceed

we employed CCS to reduce our rates bill and quiet simply... it was reduced - not as much as we had hoped but in a world where business rates are increasing s saving was nice. comms can be hit and miss but at the end of the day we got the reduction.

I've received multiple illegal spam emails from corporate commercial surveyors offering to reduce my business rates.
They use a company called Go Data to send spam on their behalf.
I'm not a company, so it's illegal to send marketing emails to me. Go Data appear to just send spam to any UK domain, regardless of whether it belongs to a company or not. Have a look at their reviews on Trustpilot to see what these scammers are really like.
If a company like corporate commercial surveyors wants do send marketing emails without breaking the law, they should use a reputable marketing company instead.

you could probably find cheaper companies offering similar similar services but there thorough approach was worth the little extra !
