Cotton On Rotorua – Very disappointing experience
I had a very bad experience at the Cotton On store in Rotorua. One of the staff members was extremely rude to us, started yelling, and even used abusive language. This behaviour is completely unacceptable from any retail staff.
Because of this experience, I would not recommend anyone to visit this store. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves the customer service.

NO Returns / refunds
Returns / refunds NOT possible here — the site glitches on step 1 of the returns process — in all browsers! So I tried to contact them... I called, held 10 mins and then it dropped. Online chat is unmanned and promises a response by "message" (whatever that means). An auto email comes... but Im just waiting for a genuine follow up rn before I finalise a full review. It might go well who knows

£300 of clothes received for my daughter, need to send £179 of stuff back to them as they don’t fit.
Extremely difficult to return, as our address is not correct for return. It tells me to input MY address for return but on their webpage it’s already added an address that is for a warehouse. I just want to ask a simple question. Is this how they work it ? I cannot alter it. Phone calls drop after 20 mins, they let you hang on and then tell you their phone lines are disabled. Not answering chat, that is no longer live, email not answered. The other option is a 2 hr trip to a typo shop. I will never order from this company again. They definitely do NOT want to talk to you or help you.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I ordered a product online expecting it to arrive on time (paid shipping cost of £4), but my parcel is lost or misplaced. And there is no way to claim my shipping cost or the item cost. This is the worst online service I've encountered. Please be cautious when shopping with Cotton On online.
The quality of the clothing is awful
The quality of the clothing is awful. The company name is so misleading. The clothes dont even contain cotton and they are made of a stretchy spandex like material that just smells like plastic. The pricing deceives you into thinking that the quality will be good but Primark has better quality and actually uses more cotton. The clothing did not look like what was advertised so I tried to return and the process was awful. I put in my order number and it came up with wrong address and then wouldn't let me change. I've now been sat on hold with customer service for 15 minutes. Do not buy!!!!

I can't find an option to return an item on the website or email received from the order placed. On the website it says you can return anything at the Typo stores, which I tried but the attendant said they can't return items paid via PayPal so I needed to do it online. Wasted travel. So I sent an email to ask how to return an item, and 2 days later I receive a reply saying that my order was delivered. Hello? I never said it wasn't, they didn't even read the email. There's no phone service and online they have this really poor service. The quality of the products is not the same and now you're not able to return them. I wish I had checked the reviews before buying. Never again.
Cotton On should change its name.
Cotton On should change its name to Polyester On. The quality of the clothes have fallen from grace. The company has lost its value and dignity. They are charging people sustainable prices for sweat shop products. Disgraceful behaviour. Capitalism rears its ugly head once again, it’s sad.

Ordered 2 hoodies and a tote bag for me and my daughter..week later one hoody and tote bag arrive and we email them n they say they refunded me because 1 hoody was out of stock! I don’t see a refund in my bank n I’m pissed cos now the sales ended n I got nothing.the item was in stock when we ordered! I feel compelled to write this as a warning to others. Don't order from this company. The product never arrives. I had a message from Evri saying they were waiting for it. That's where the tracking stopped. Contacted the company on a daily basis and all they told me was to wait. Then I received an email telling me to file a complaint with my delivery courier in Australia ( I'm in the UK, so have no idea who they use) they have taken my money and told me to disappear down a rabbit hole. Now I will be taking it up with my bank. This company should not be allowed to trade. Terrible company with no customer service.

Still waiting for my order after nearly two weeks – terrible customer service
I ordered the Bella straight leg pants on 2nd November, and it’s now been almost two weeks with no tracking information, no parcel, and no proper updates. I had to contact Cotton On myself just to find out what was going on, and was told the warehouse had been contacted because my order “can’t yet be tracked by Evri” which makes absolutely no sense.
The customer service has been shocking. I’ve paid a decent amount of money for these pants and have had zero communication unless I chase them first. For a first-time customer, this experience has been so disappointing that I genuinely regret ordering. I won’t be shopping with Cotton On again or recommending them to anyone.
To make matters worse, I received an email asking me to “rate my Bella pants while they’re still fresh in my mind”, except I still haven’t received them. It’s completely unacceptable.
Cotton On, please sort this out immediately, at this stage, I expect compensation for the delay, poor communication, and overall lack of care.

Had great experience
To be honest I was concerned after seeing a lot of negative reviews here, but this was the only place I could find this wrapping paper. However I was pleasantly surprised, it was dispatched that day and I received it 3 days later. It was exactly as pictured on the site.
Amazing service at Cotton On!
The customer service at the Rundle Mall store in Adelaide was outstanding! I had bought an outfit in another store and wanted a tshirt to wear under the shirt that had to be a particular green. I checked one I had seen online at another store in the mall only to find the colour was not right at all. I went to Cotton On and tried on one tshirt. I then asked the young woman at the fitting room if they had any other greens. She called another young woman with reddish hair to help me. Apparently they had a new shipment in that day and the tshirt she brought me was PERFECT. Right colour, right fit, beautifully soft, and only $20. THANK YOU, your service made my day. ♥️

I’m Trying to return the item unfortunately na manager was not really helpful and I really needed a cash immediately due to my work I need to get a live scan. The manager did not help me and stressed me a lots. I won’t buy the item again the customer service was very very poor. I really needed a money to get a live scan. Or else I’m going to lose my Job.
Terribly difficult to deal with
Ok they have cute cheap clothes. Love their little t-shirts. Paid with AfterPay online. Said returns taken in store. THEY WOULDNT TAKE IT, not for a refund, not for store credit. Snotty Asst Mgr said their system “was too old.” I picked up their tabletop sign that read, “Returns with no questions.” She began speaking Spanish to the other worker. About me. I snapped at her in Spanish, “I speak Spanish too, b*%?€!!”
She looked shocked. Still trying to return the clothes.
No Gift Card Redemption!!
Hi there, your Torquay store, whilst filled with lovely staff and lovely things, cannot redeem gift vouchers. Apparently it’s been an issue for some time. Not good enough. I’ve had to spend my money ($72.00) whilst my granddaughter had a number of valid cards from her birthday. Yes I could have told her to put things back but she was very excited about her birthday shopping spree and I didn’t think that was an option for me. So, I believe a refund of my dollars is a reasonable request. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have not received a refund despite following up 3 times already. The item was also returned using their own Royal Mail tracked label and I can see they have received it.
