Booking was easy , getting a confirmation on our dinner booking not easy, sent email to country hotels and they said they would forward my request, no answer
Rang hotel left message and email address still no answer, got my fingers crossed they will be a table at.7 pm on Sunday

Great venue and the bar manager (Kieran) was amazing.

Easy to follow web-site and booking process. Good descriptions of hotels. Very responsive support team (answered my email query outside of the published office hours).

Very easy to book and a good discount price

Instant confirmation via email which very clearly detailed what I had booked. I also selected an upgrade a couple of days before my stay but didn’t receive a confirmation. Paula in the Sales Team went above and beyond to get it confirmed for me when the hotel was being difficult. I have used this company several times now and I always get a great price through them.

Really good experience and found plenty of great deals. An option to save and compare hotel room and particular rates would have been nice as I had to get a load of tabs open and keep opening the website and re-searching the criteria. Other that that, can’t complain. I like the categories you have, in case you’re looking for a particular thing, ie. Foodie getaways or kid friendly etc

Confusing website that does not remember the basic search criterion (the date for the stay).

Had an amazing stay, comfort,pampered, beautiful grounds,staff were friendly and always willing to help.

Initial booking was an intuative and straight forward process. I selected the necessary options and was happy with the price and proceeded with the booking. This was the followed up with a call to state that even though a single child was selected, in the small print this is added to the original quote and will be an addition. nice! no problem i will pay the additional and proceed. A second call later that morning, the original room is now not sufficient and there will now be second additional charge? Immdeiate refund requested for what is clearly a miss advertised process that the attempts to lever additional charges out of the customer. Avoid this provider!

The attitude of the staff was excellent. The hotel was described to me as a 3* hotel with a 6* staff and I would endorse that opinion. Without fail they were pleasant, polite, friendly and helpful. The room although not lavish was comfortable and clean. The menu was quite extensive and the food well cooked

I booked a two night break at the Belsfield hotel, lake Windermere through this company. All was well until I received an ‘we are looking forward to you visit’ email from the hotel advising that there is a £15 per day charge for car parking. This is something not made clear on the CHB website. I rand them and was told by the operator that she thought it was on the website but she had not been charged on a recent stay there.
It then took her several minutes to find the parking information in the ‘good to know’ section within facilities, not listed under facilities
The price is advised as including taxes and service fees
Ergo it is very easy to miss. Any additional cost like that should be advised very clearly at the time of booking.
I was not impressed with the customer service I received when I called CBH, no actual help with the issue, just ‘i will pass it on to the sales team, you could take it up with the hotel’
