Their employee was very arrogant and rude when I told him that he was on my property, in-between my car and the fence trying to change a sign for the house that was for sale next door with Haart Estate agents. I informed him that he should have changed the sign the other side as I do not want my car damaged. His reply was don't be so stupid I have done this job many times before. I don't care if he had done it before you can still damage my property and if that was to happen, he would not have said anything. He was also quite aggressive and arrogant about stating that if I called the police regarding him trespassing on my property that it was a civil matter, so he has obviously done this many times and has no pride in his job or the company he works for.

It seems that the company is disrespectful of other people's property and is quite happy to trespass and damage other people's property.

Update 17.10.26 What a standard response just to make it look like you have responded. I had already sent you and email the same day I had written this but I have not had any response. Don't use a company that does not follow through on their word.

SCUMBAG driver in Dundrum area, reg begins 211-KE, started blowing the horn because a car didn't merge into oncoming traffic at one of the biggest junctions in Dublin. Then swung his van onto the kerb to undertake this car at the merge and forced his way into traffic, then tailgated the car in front and swung right into an estate with no indicator and way too fast. Absolutely lethal. 1st time seeing this company and I'm sure the 20 cars who witnessed it will never give you business.

I was extremely disappointed by the lack of consideration shown this morning. An estate agent’s sign was removed before 7:00 a.m., with repeated loud banging that woke residents in the surrounding homes. This kind of work should be carried out during reasonable hours, especially in a residential area where people are still sleeping. A little thought for the local community would go a long way. I hope the company reviews its working practices to avoid disturbing residents in the future. Rude and arrogant when confronted.

I was a Countrywide Signs Franchisee for 20 years between 2006 and 2026, like every business some years offered more challenges than others and the market changed across 20 years, overall I made a good living from the business, it was flexible and allowed me to be out on the road and work away from an office environment. If you commit to the business and follow the training and are consistant with your service levels then this can be an enjoyable and fairly easy to operate business. Most of the admin is done for you so you can concentrate on maintaining and growing the business. I also built an asset across my time with the franchise and recieved a good resale value when I eventually sold in March 2026.
