choosing a summerhouse was so easy
choosing a summerhouse was so easy with the help and advice of Joanna Haines . We were never pushed to have one only helped . Sending us photos and very knowledgeable about what we would need with the space we had . The delivery and fitting team were fantastic too , highly recommend.

Choosing your shed design
We knew that we needed to renew our shed and looked at all the cheap options and then knew why they were cheap. It was then a matter of size and working with Joe at the office was great. He kept updating us on style and nothing was too much trouble as we altered our plans till we were happy and he therefore had a sale

Poor after sales service for such an expensive product.
I brought a 16' Superior shed in 2009 over ten years ago. It wasn't cheap. The bottom two T&G planks need replacing, I cannot source the exact size anywhere locally so asked for help in contacting their supplier presumably in Norfolk. This was their response:
Dear Mr Williams,
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately our records only go back to 2014 and I have been unable to find your order. We have changed the spec of some of the timber we use. We would recommend contacting a local woodyard or handyman that will be able to fashion up some boards that are like the spec we have provided.
Needless to say they didn't provide any spec in their email.

As your shed was purchased in 2009, we have since updated our shiplap board designs which means they would not be compatible with your shed. We would recommend taking a board to a woodyard for them to be able to replicate this for you in the correct lengths.

Great shed, careless customer service
We've bought a new garden shed and concrete base from Crane Garden Buildings in November 2023. Whilst we've found the quality of the shed itself excellent, we were very disappointed with the level of service provided by this company during the process of installing both the concrete base and the shed.
There appeared to be a lack of care during delivery and installation, and our floors, door panels, door frames scratched, architraves, and walls were all badly scuffed, floor tiles cracked, carpets dirtied.
The installers were unclear on what size concrete base they were supposed to install and we had to point this out to them twice, the second time when they've already made the shuttering to the wrong size.
For a premium price we have expected a premium service and have a smooth, stress-free experience. Based on this experience unfortunately we will not be recommending Crane Garden Buildings.
