It's nice to work with organised and trustworthy suppliers. Many times have I been in difficult situations where I need last minute deliveries to find their way to my constructions sites across the UK and many times I've been saved by Amy Birnie and her team. The answer is never no, it is always "leave it with me" and "I'll see what I can do". When she isn't available, her star players come in to save the day (one Jed Oultram comes to mind). Big thank you to Amy and Team for helping every time I come asking!!!

Specifically Jamie, when we request fuel to be delivered to our yard he always goes above and beyond to help us, especially at times when it is short notice.

Was contacted by leaana about offer on 5w30 oil which I thought was a good buy placed a order and was asked to pay before delivery which I did but I did explain I was on holiday a few days later they said it would be delivered before my holiday first attempt was on a vehicle to big to access my property second attempt would be when I was on holiday I told them not to bother and refund my money two weeks and still waiting for a refund not a good company

Dont touch them with a bargepole! They kept chasing me to order red diesel for our farm and heating oild for the house, I decided to give them a try.:
1) They accepted my order and said they would deliver the next day
2) next day they contacted me to say they needed a form filled out for the red diesel, which I did
3) day following they contacted me again to say they needed more detailed description of the farming activity - which I did and they said they would deliver next day
4) next day they contacted me to say they needed a form filled for the heating oil - even though domestic, which I reluctantly did and the said they would deliver next day
5) next day they said they needed pre-payment on credit card which I did - delivery next day
6) next day the tanker arrived with only heating oil -said that the red diesel was cancelled
7) on chasing why they said because there is a stud farm at the same post code! I explained it is next door and a totally different business, but they refuse to supply.
8) getting my money refunded is like getting blood from a stone - couldn't do it to credit card needed bank details emailed. A week later I gat a phone call saying they need to get approval from their manager and it needs to be to the credit card.!

Our usual supplier of Kerosene let us down so I contacted Crown Oil and organised a delivery of oil. Our boiler and tank was operating perfectly fine up until the delivery by Crown and within 1 day we had pure water, sludge and debris all through the feed lines, filters and burner pump causing damage to our boiler and called Crown to complain. We replaced the parts and bled through many liters of water and sludge and finally got boiler running only to break down again every other day as water built up in filters and pump.
After numerous calls and almost 6 weeks we got a visit from Crown Environmental who took samples of filthy sludge and water from bottom and clean fuel from top as expected and did a visible inspection of our tank pointing out areas where maybe a drip of water to get in. Went off to sample their tanks and reported nothing wrong at their end and it was our tank that was old and letting in water.
As our boiler was running fine and we had never had any issues prior to their delivery, we find it impossible that our tank has managed to let in gallons of water, debris, slime and sludge within 24 hours of their delivery. Will now have tank drained and replenished by others.
Not to be trusted and will never purchase from them again.

Usual supplier let our business down - call to the emergency line at crown and Diesel delivered within 4 hours saving a lot of expense had we run out

I had run out of oil for boiler so I rang Crown and explained my dilemma to a young lady named Amy who was extremely helpful the whole process was very quick and I had 1000 litres in my tank less than 24hrs later at a competitive price based on my goole research thankyou very much

Seems you have to jump through idiot hoops.
Constantly had to chase up ryan to get more dumb questions, over and over.
Breeding pigs for selling is obviously not farming.

Certainly not competitive - NRG and boilerjuice were 3p per litre cheaper. Cannot get an online quote either despite website suggesting otherwise. Even when i mailed to say do not call me they did anyway - repeatedly until about 8pm on Friday and on Saturday. That says to me they are desperate for orders.

White diesel quote given. I offered to pay by card, this wasn’t acceptable to Crown Oil they need a first payment into their bank. I got the quote Friday and paid on Saturday. Delivery wasn’t delivered on Tuesday as agreed. I was told as I hadn’t paid (even though I had) however nobody checks incoming payments of Crowns account?? They tried to put the price up even though I had already paid. I had to argue to get the price I had agreed.
The delivery arrived Wednesday, the driver called and he was allowed on site, he topped up one tank then left site without further contact taking 250 litres which should have gone in another bowser on site.
When I called for a refund I was told it would take up to five days even though I had to pay in one day. Absolutely no chance my company will ever use Crown Oil again. Five days on and still no refund.

They offer nationwide delivery yet CANNOT deliver to our postcode, time wasters, do not trust them!

Tried getting a quote. The web site says they deliver nationwide.

Apparently, no one told the website builders to change the Nationwide Delivery to Selected areas only.
Another 10 minutes of my life gone which I won't get back!

I have just had an online chat with Annabel as I was enquiring about HVO fuel. The website stipulates anyone can buy it and even says they can deliver it in 205litre barrels. However I was told this was not for domestic use and when I pointed out that their website said different I was asked what I would be using it for. I replied to run my vehicles on another thing it boasts about on its website. Annabel's reply we only sell that in a 100ltr minimum and only to commercial customers.

I have long found the job of buying domestic kerosene to be too complicated: none of the major suppliers seems to be able to say definitively WHEN they can deliver until you've actually committed to buying from them... and some cannot even do so then!

Enter Crown Oils - swift response to online query, upbeat & polite ordering team, clear comms throughout (and 24 hour delivery) and efficient paperwork.
