It is our policy not to engage with paid for Review Services and we do not therefore monitor this page on Trustpilot. We do however check in from time to time to ensure no customers had issues and if they have we do reach out to them and we expect this to continue under Ares. CUSTOMPC.IE ceased selling components and accessories on the 30th of September 2024. All custom desktop pcs , laptops , servers and workstations with warranty have been transfered and all customers have received new contact information to ensure they have even better support than we have been able to provide over the last 15 years. Custom Computers and Technologie Limited is no longer involved with CUSTOMPC.IE We would like to thank our loyal customers in Ireland and everywhere else and we would like to ensure all of our customers are aware that they have support from A.C.T. who have sent emails to all customers providing new support information and details. Our decision to cease selling components and accessories came from this being a service we started in 2021 to assist customers impacted by the rules change with regards Brexit in January of 2021. This service was never intended to be in place for 4 years. Unfortunately we had to cease providing this service after consultation with our core customers and we provided 120 days notice of the end of component sales. The transfer of CUSTOMPC.IE was never intended to take place in the same year however we felt this change would ensure continuity and better support across Europe and in ireland for our customers who had purchased custom pcs , laptops , servers and workstations. Component and accessory sales were reasponsible for less than 20% of or sales however 80% of our support tickets were from this 20% and this had impacted the level of support we could provide to the many customers who relied on us for support for their workstations , servers , gaming pcs and laptops which is why we took the decision to cease selling components and accessories. The opportunity to ensure a better level of support from our core customers came about as an added bonus and we could not refuse the opportunity given what this meant for our loyal customers. Support is still available direct at CUSTOMPC.IE and through the normal emails and we do not believe this will change given there was an undertaking to ensure the same email addresses were to be live for at least 12 months. The CUSTOMPC.IE brand is not part of the ARES Group and we expect the brand be taken to new heights by ARES.

I am building two servers for this project. I ordered components from several different vendors to assess which ones I want to work with in future. I entrusted CustomPC with the RAM (2x32G).
CustomPC were the cheapest in terms of list price by ~10%.
CustomPC were the only company that actually sent stock from inside Ireland.
Custom PC were the slowest to deliver (12 days).
They pestered me with the most emails by far, including signing me up to an email newsletter which I didn't ask for.
They had a complex ordering process including forcing an account and autogenerating a password which was sent in the clear.
Only one stick of RAM arrived (it looks like this problem occurred during the ordering process as they only charged me for one as well).
CustomPC charged the most for delivery (nearly 10 euros).
Inexplicably, most of the package I received (by weight) was a bag of sweets. Which are inedible to me because they contain pork gelatin. Needless to say, they are also incompatible with the motherboard, so Server #2 is currently waiting on RAM I have just ordered from a different vendor.
They could have kept my business with:
1. Simplified checkout
2. No newsletter / mandatory account / gimmicks
3. Faster, cheaper delivery

Never imagine building a PC could take almost a month this company is the worst that I transac with, when it comes to PC building you guys should be ashamed for your laziness this company operate like a scam organization have you seen your customer's review at TrustPilot your disappointment rate is 73%

though it took a while for my delivery to arrive once the order was updated it was delivered within 2 days and i received a free upgrade to an 8gb 3050 rather than the 4gb one i ordered.

Avoid CUSTOMPC at all cost. The amount of complaints they have is staggering. They have a really bad customer service. Delivery times are very long. They will display items as "in stock" but you have to wait for a long time before anything updates. I ordered a monitor AOC CU34g2xp last 11th March. Got a delivery on 23rd March. To my surprise it was the wrong model. An older version of the one I ordered. Really ridiculous. They did not bother to reply to my emails. No communication since then. Its clearly a rip off. There are a lot of bad reviews about them. I wonder why they are still open. I will file a formal court complaint. This is really an awful experience

I placed an order 10th March for literally 2 things. I still haven't gotten them. The thing hasn't changed status from "pending" since I placed the order. This is getting ridiculous. I've messaged the whatsapp, sent support ticket requests, emailed. Nothing. This is just crazy.

The item I ordered was out of stock. In fairness I did receive an email alerting me to the fact and offering a refund. However the 'out of stock' item was still being advertised for sale days later, how many other people fell into this trap? It took seconds for my payment to go through, but I'm told it can take 10 working days to get the refund! Into the 2nd week now and still waiting.......

Waiting 2 months for a refund,
Order was made and amended - the team were good at replying initially and said they processed the refund as store credit and forwarded the refund request to higher management - they then said it would take up to 35 working days to process it as a refund and store credit would be removed from my account when refund is processed. I stated firmly that I wanted the difference refunded, not as store credit.
Confirmation of amendment was made on January 5th 2024, since then no refund has been processed, when I followed up I was referred to the t&c's which does not mention working days. I have tried time and time again to contact them through their various public means and have received no correspondence since 12th of Jan when I was referred to said t&c's. They have gone completely ghost on me.
The store credit still remains in the account despite several requests for the refund to be processed, well over the 30 days mark now even 35 working days as they falsely stated.
The items that were dispatched arrived promptly and were correct and fully functional, however dealing with their customer service has been a joke.

Very difficult communication. I've requested a refund on the 10th of January 2024. Today is the 10th of March, 2 months have passed and I still haven't got my money back. They just ignore my messages and emails.
