Garbage organization, largely responsible for the absolute cringefest mainstream EDM culture in America has become. Their samples have always been of dubious quality, likely ripped or stolen from other tracks. Their spamming tactics are completely over the top, and are arguably the innovators of headline clickbait phrases in this industry along the lines of "three simple tips to become the next marshmello!" and "producers will HATE you for knowing these five things!" With their use of phrases like "bruh" and "fam" in their emails it's clear they target impressionable 15 year old males who likely spend their downtime browsing 4chan and watching tucker carlson. Maybe by 2025 they will have figured out what skrillex was doing sound design wise in 2009... LOL. Avoid at all possible costs.

The 5-star ratings here are obviously from their own employees too.

not responding to emails - worst customers support ever

Everyone writing bad reviews seems to have not unsubscribed to the sms and email notifications. If your computer won't run programs due to the source being unknown, that don't mean the files contain malware. I've only made one purchase and downloaded lite versions but there is nothing wrong with the source.

I purchased their infinity pack back in July of 2022. I’ve been waiting for its release for weeks and I was really excited for it. I even signed up to sms and email. They also did not put a price on it, but it was $297. They try to get you to drool over it for weeks and say that once it’s gone, it’s gone. When it was released, they said the first 200 people to purchase it gets a Gold USB. I didn’t want to miss out so even when I saw the price, I really hesitated. Gosh I wish I didn’t buy into it because I was one of the first 200 (I believe I was 126th or something, and I never received any USB. I should’ve sent them an email with a “hey where’s my USB?” But anyway, when I started downloading their files, two of them my antivirus won’t let me download. I thought “huh, that’s kinda sketchy”. There’s malware in their files and now I’m even more hesitant to unzip the files and let hell loose on my computer. This is a complete joke. A total waste of money. And an awful experience as a musician hoping for something good.

They don't respond to anything. I couldn't imgine giving a company my money who doesn't respond to customers... customer service is key.. youd think making 300k per release they would put some of that money back into the business and keep customers happy... but I've gotten the same experience as others here.. no response. Tried 3 avenues of contact. None worked

Couldn't recommand more. Their drums samples are sexy. Their one shots amazing. Their serum presets implacable. Their white noises and ambiant sound are stunning.

Their plugins, amazing. Works as expected. I don't know for their synths, but otherwise it's amazing.

Safe to buy and recommanded.

This is a great site. For me it's one of the best. They are generous, hard working and fair. I wish them all the best and just ignore the negative reviews... for some reason the people who really deserve them never get them.

They are hands down the best source for samples free or paid for.

Great company with excellent products which they love and they share that with their support, social media etc. Just wish a lot more ecommerce enabled music producing companies were like this.

I stumbled upon their website whilst looking for some creative inspiration. Oh my God do they provide a lot of free tasters. Not only that but they seem to understand the simple and honest approach to music in that we all share in the bounty. By this I mean that they provide non-exclusive royalty licenses helping the users side step this minefield the music industry has created. Half the time the licenses of other products appear to allow you to use their samples in your music, but oh God help me if they should appear in the real world, because in tiny 2 point text, buried behind the walls of Zendacon, in the kingdom of Xanadu, you find out that you can be sued if you so much as allow anyone other than yourself to hear it. After all I should have known these things.

This is definitely NOT the case with Cymatics, who are up front in telling you that once you have your paws on the samples, free of purchased, you can use them in everything you compose musically, for either personal or commercial output. There is one very reasonable exception, that you don't sell the sample or samples as a part of a pack, or claim them as your own.

This Cymatics license is such a breath of fresh air in an industry that has become so restrictive. You can't help but feel worried that sometimes if you inadvertently fart on your record, a lawyer might claim ownership of said noise on behalf of their client.

As for the samples I've heard so far, I am very impressed with them, and will definitely be back to get some more in due course.

Oh yes, they also do awesome things for charity, so mucho kudos to them for that.

Great samples, but the website is extremely lacking.

There is no way to change your password, or any personal info at all, without sending in a plain text form that will be responded to "within 30 days". Sections to do this seem to have existed on their website in the past (according to Google searches) but are no longer accessible.

As for the product being sold, the sample packs, I have used them for many years in various situations, and they have been consistently great and easy to use.

Super! This page has lots of free samples, and the paid samples are pretty cool!

Another 3 days have passed without response. Feels a bit bad. Hope they see this soon for their ratings sake

Cymatics has always been helpful in my production. Other than providing out free kits, they also have authentic sounding presets. I can also get more creative with their sample packs that inclues good melodies whenever I get beatblock.

I love their sounds and quality. From their drums to their melodies. Everything is organized and works great! I have used in hip/hop, worship, latin jazz and more. Highly recommend.

Great customer service, and great sample packs! I would especially recommend diamonds iii, extremely high quality sounds. They also do provide tons of free packs and I don't know what people are talking about with the checkout thingy, it must have got fixed because that doesn't happen anymore you just have to put your email and first name, and then you get notified of even more free packs! How great is that!

They say they have free packs, i'm downloading one right now. I'm not sure if it is legit.

I’ve gotten tons of sounds from them, they are always giving away free sample packs that sound amazing, they give you the option to add sounds that are not free if you want but simply click no it not and you can get hundreds of free sounds for multiple genres. Highly recommend.

You can’t get any “FREE” samples without first going through the ‘checkout’ - getting there requires you to first choose an ‘offer’ to purchase along with the ‘FREE’ samples.
You can select ‘No thanks, continue to checkout’ which takes you to another offer, and another, and another.
When you finally reach the checkout to claim the ‘FREE’ samples, nothing is listed despite whatever you may have chosen, and $0.00 is due in payment - yet you must complete their registration process before you can progress.
This includes your Full Name, Address, e-mail and Credit Card, or PayPal details, for billing purposes.

NEVER provide such details to anybody claiming to offer you something they can’t demonstrate, have no history of selling or very few reviews of ever selling (which will usually be dated close together, use similar phrasing or repeated comments with the same spelling errors etc.

These people sell nothing, and give nothing. All they want is access to your money.
