This place was a life saver for me when my son and family asked me to have their dog for a long weekend. Worried in case he ran off while out for a walk I booked 3 days at 1/2 hour sessions at Dandelion and it was great, no way could he escape and lovely area for him to run free.

Wonderful , stress free and brilliant times spent in the field . Beautiful wildflowers and mowed paths to stroll around in . Water etc always at hand and the odd left over ball hiding in the grass is a treasure when I have left my own at home . I can’t recommend this place enough .

This meadow has been very helpful to us as we have a 9 month old pointer whose recall is not good when there are other dogs around. We will be booking again this weekend so she can have a safe and enjoyable run around and do some training.

This is a godsend when you have a dog in season. (Not allowed to use the correct word as inappropriate language apparently!!)😂
It has been well thought out and has a picnic table, water supply, drinking bowls and even poo bags.

Great location with a large, safe and enclosed area for the dog to run free in. Fresh water always available including drinking bowls along with a water hose and brush for cleaning the dog if needed. ( winter time ) .
Easy to book via the website and easy to access. Recommend it to anyone.

The field is fantastic for allowing my delinquent whippet and small rescue terrier to run offlead securely, without any escape routes.

There are a couple of small jumps and logs available, which were absolutely fine for my mini terrier to jump over and have fun with.

The whippy could just keep running and letting off steam with my daughter and I, too.

We used the 55 minutes very successfully, with the pathways cut into the field, and my terrier could barely be seen for hiding in the long grass, probably not to get harassed by my bigger whippy.

The first time that I went was in December, which was very wet and muddy, so more challenging.

In July though, the field is in all its glory with views across the countryside. Heavenly!

Route by car to the field was good, and parking great.

We have been visiting the New Forest area every Summer for over 30 years. We have two sighthound rescues (girls) and a miniature Dachshund (boy).
Our girls are very nervous of people and dogs and as a result, they are reactive.
They are usually walked on the lead at all times, but it has become increasingly difficult trying to avoid careless dog owners who have their dogs off-lead without recall or any control.
We feared that this year, walking them in public places would be extremely stressful, especially as Covid has meant that many more people are now staying at home and flocking to beauty spots!
We came across Dandelion Meadows when searching for dog walking fields near Hordle. We decided to take a chance and book in, and...Well...Thank goodness we did! It was an absolute God send for us. Our dogs were able to relax and play and even run around freely off of the lead. They had the most marvellous time, and were totally relaxed, and dare I say, completely different dogs.
There was also fresh water there and dog-waste bags supplied. The field is beautifully kept, and it is very peaceful! We wish we lived closer as we would continue to visit every day!

Its great to find a field that isn't close to a main road. Fields we have used before have been next to A roads and one of our rehomed Collie chases cars. Instead he runs around in circles instead but its nice to find somewhere more secluded. Our 2nd rehomed Collie is petrified of so many noises and she too has started to venture out rather than permanently sitting at the gate to get back to the car. We don't need agility items so this field does us well.

An absolute god send to our 11 month rescue dog and us, he’s in desperate need of a good run and training. It’s a lovely enclosed field with a bit of shade if needed , benches and some logs and bars for jumping over, water and poo bags provided (we did bring our own but brilliant if you’ve forgotten them) Having found this gem we will now use regularly, thank you Dandelion Fields.

Great place, we have a couple of rescue collies and one of them bolts at anything that scares her..........we never know what that might be. When we booked we decided we’d need to walk the perimeter before letting her off. Except that we did not need to, very secure fencing visibly in place all around which is greatly reassuring.
We’ll be back on a weekly basis.

The perfect place for off lead exercise for my dog reactive dog. Nobody else can come in to the enclosure during my booked time, giving complete security and reassurance of being able to let him off the lead and not fret about coming in to contact with another dog. 25 or 55 minute options, great rates.

Our 2 rescue dogs very much enjoyed their visit to Dandelion Dogs. A lovely opportunity to allow them both to run free off lead without worry. They are both easily distracted and have a high chase drive, so this place is just perfect with its secure fencing. We will be booking regular visits and highly recommend it.

I spent a very pleasant time here on Sunday with my pup and a few friends. It was well signposted (with dandelions) on arrival. Please read parking instructions as we got it wrong! Very clean and well put together facility with good fencing, clean clear area for running, a hose for whatever and poo bags and bin. The only addition I have mentioned to the owner is to put some more bails of hay about the field to create interest as the little ones are too small for the jumps but do like getting up on and down from a soft object. Good for training purposes too. I will be back.

A beautifully kept, clean, safe place to let our rescue dog off the lead. She loved it. Great space to practise recall. Clear signs and poo bin and water much appreciated.

Absolutely superb set up and space.
My 3 legged one eyed rescue dog is very reactive due to the abuse he received as a puppy.
This paddock area was great for him to have a good run around without fear.

A well looked after, clean space for reactive dogs to be let off lead safely so a relaxing walk can be had by all. Clear instructions and facilities include parking, water (& bowl), poo bags and a bin. I would have liked to have seen a few trees and/or bushes as I found the space a bit 'boring' but the jumps and logs provided some entertainment. I have never been to such a facility before but will definitely use this space again.

Excellent facilities, very well thought about. It was great to take our puppy and practice her recall in a safe environment. Will definitely be booking again.
