We’re sorry for the frustration this situation caused.

According to Zendesk, our customer support platform, you first contacted us requesting a refund on Tuesday at 10:38 pm and followed up on Wednesday at 9:20 am. Your request was processed on Wednesday at 12:35 pm, and we immediately issued a full refund under our 30-day money-back guarantee.

In total, it took approximately 14 hours from your first message for the refund to be reviewed and processed. We understand that timing matters in billing situations, and we will continue working to improve our response times.

Regarding the $12 you mentioned, we do not offer a $12/month plan. The subscription selected was Danelfin Pro billed annually, which is $59/month billed as $708 per year, the option chosen during checkout.

Most importantly, we have issued the full refund, and depending on your bank, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to settle and appear in your account.

The AI Score is designed to be simple and intuitive, while still being backed by deep analysis under the hood. We also really value what you said about “not amazing every time, but avoiding the junk.” That’s a very realistic and healthy way to look at investing. Danelfin does not provide investment recommendations. Our AI Scores and signals are probabilistic, data-driven indicators designed to estimate the likelihood that a stock will outperform the market over a 3-month horizon. They are intended to complement an investor’s own research, strategy, and risk management, not replace them. As with any quantitative model, outcomes can vary significantly on individual stocks, and short-term market movements can differ from medium-term expectations. No model, AI or otherwise, can predict markets with perfect accuracy.

Regarding your subscription, we’re glad we were able to process a full refund promptly. We aim to be fair and transparent with all our users.

On the email issue, we take this concern very seriously. Danelfin does not use rotating emails, hidden URLs, or any mechanism designed to bypass unsubscribe requests or spam filters. We send emails only to the exact validated email address a user registered with, and all emails include unsubscribe functionality.

In rare cases, users may have multiple accounts registered with different email addresses, which can cause confusion. When this is brought to our attention, we always resolve it manually and permanently. If emails continued after an unsubscribe request, that is not the experience we want anyone to have, and we regret the inconvenience.

We appreciate you acknowledging the responsiveness of our support team, and we’re sorry that, overall, Danelfin wasn’t the right fit for you. Your feedback, positive and negative, helps us continue improving both our product and our communication.

Our AI Score measures the probability of a stock beating the market over the next 3 months, but it cannot guarantee positive performance in every period. The performance data shown on our How It Works page, https://danelfin.com/how-it-works, is based on over 2,000 trading days of data (Jan. 2017 to Apr. 2025). On average, stocks rated AI Score 10 outperformed the market by +21.05% annualized alpha after 3 months. But there are inevitably periods where these stocks underperform. This is normal with any probability-based model.

It’s also important to highlight that our recommended approach to building a portfolio isn’t to buy any stocks rated 10/10. Danelfin is an AI-powered stock analytics platform designed to provide unique data insights that help investors make more informed decisions. It’s not meant to be followed blindly, but rather to complement your investment process with data-driven signals. We encourage investors to combine Danelfin’s AI Scores with other sources of information as part of a well-rounded strategy.

Danelfin’s AI Score rates stocks and ETFs based on their probability of outperforming the market over the next 3 months. While scores may fluctuate, this doesn’t mean a holding should be sold immediately. As long as a stock remains in “Buy” or “Hold” territory, it makes sense to hold it for the suggested 3-month period. Only when a score moves into “Sell” territory does the AI suggest re-evaluating the position. Our model is built around this quarterly investment rhythm, not daily trading.

Regarding the Top US section, by default it displays the “Top Popular” stocks, i.e., those with market cap over $2B and daily volume above $15M. This is why some 9- or 10-rated stocks may not appear there. To view all top-ranked stocks regardless of popularity, we suggest switching to the “Top All” ranking. That said, we’ll work with our product team to make this distinction clearer in the user interface.

On performance: our Best Stocks Strategy returned +74% from January 3, 2017, to August 15, 2024, with significantly lower volatility than the S&P 500 and strong downside protection. While it hasn’t outperformed every year, it has shown strong consistency and reduced risk. We recently launched an improved AI model, and updated strategy performance data incorporating this upgrade will be available soon.

Regarding the Trade Ideas section, it is not a model portfolio but a curated list of stocks where our AI model has historically performed best. It ranks ideas by win rate after 3 months, not by current AI Score, which is why some 10-rated stocks may not appear at the top. Also, to clarify, the Danelfin Plus plan costs $25/month, not $52.

As for portfolios, we agree that more functionality is essential. We’re currently working on adding broker syncing and the ability to manually enter purchase prices and number of shares, enabling full performance tracking. These features will be launched very soon.

We still don't know when we will be able to analyze all the stocks listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, but we know it's a priority for many of our customers, so we will work on it.
