Had recently purchased an electric vehicle and needed an EV charger. Danlec was recommended by a friend.
I had an an initial conversation with them where an EV charger was recommended.
I subsequently received a quote by email with a full break down.
I accepted the quote and the charger was installed within 6 days.
The installation was went well and my property was lift clean and tidy.
A really good job and a really good company.
Would highly recommend.

Straightforward process explained initially over the phone, very good response time from the office staff and excellent installation with helpful hints and tips provided by the fitters.

Everyone involved in the whole process have been amazing. Jack in the office is excellent, he has kept me up to date with everything and every time he phones he is always very pleasant. The lads that came to do the install of the solar panels and the car charger were all very friendly and polite. They were all very well mannered. Liam on the electrical side of the install was great as he went through all of the apps that I needed. Thank you to all of you 😊

The Ecoflow Power ocean, including gateway, 14 panels and 5kw battery were installed on my house by Danlec.
The process resulted in my 100% satisfaction. I dealt with Jack Heeley and James. The level of customer service was good. I seem to generate a lot of energy and when I am enrolled with the SEG, I should be electricity independent.

This is my second time using Danlec, a decision I made after a great experience the first time when I had an EV charger fitted.
Now having moved home, I wanted solar, battery storage and an EV charger fitted.

A quick call to Danlec and the team then engaged quickly providing advice and guidance and subsequently a quote for what was agreed.

Their expertise showed once they surveyed the property and advised the best options and ensuring all wiring would be neatly and tidily routed.

It was a 2 day installation as we had 20 panels on the property and 6 on the garage plus battery storage and EV charger, the team were friendly and ensured everything was tidy. At the end, walking me through what had been done and how to manage the system in the app.

First class service cheapest around for the same charger i had fitted. Did everything to accommodate me as I was going away on the Monday fitted me in on the Thursday before at short notice. So don't hesitate to ring this company they will help you out and they were the cheapest for the omhe home pro

Everything from the initial contact with Dan to discuss my requirements to uploading my survey and finally paying after completion was very easy. Sam who installed the charger did a great job. He discussed where he was going to route the cable to make sure we were happy with it. The finished job was very neat and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danlec if you need a car charger installation.

Excellent communication prior and installation was perfect

Danlec we're really friendly and helpful on the phone for my provisional queries then later when I rang to arrange the installation. There was one slight complication on my side that they worked around.
They arrived when they said they would and the installation was straightforward.

EV charger fitted within a couple of weeks of ordering, only held up slightly due to our house move. Completely professional and had the upmost respect for our property. 100% recommend Danlec.

From start to finish Danlec did a great job from quoting, surveying to install. All persons involved from office to installers did a great job, the lads that turned up to install where punctual polite and very thorough with attention to detail in every part, any roof tiles that broke where replaced with new ones, the Electrian did a very neat job.

My experience with Danlec has, unfortunately, been extremely disappointing from start to finish. What began as a straightforward installation has turned into a months‑long dispute caused by inaccurate information, lack of professional diligence, and unresolved functionality issues.

I placed my order on 8th October, with installation taking place more than two weeks later. During that window, Ecoflow publicly advertised a “buy three, get one free” battery promotion on their PowerOcean range. This was available during the period before installation, would have saved me approximately £1,600 had I of been given opportunity, and was openly posted by their own supplier.
Despite this, Danlec did not identify or inform me of this significant change in value. When I raised this, it became clear they were unaware a public promotion had even occurred. Employees acknowledged they understood why I felt misled, yet Dan (Director/Owner) refused to accept this represented any lapse in diligence.

I amended my original order only because I was assured the EcoFlow Gateway would provide off‑grid (island) capability via the app, which was essential and a desire to have. This functionality was not available upon installation, nor was I told it might be unavailable or dependent on future updates. Months later, there is still no confirmed solution—only vague references to potential “workarounds” that remain unconfirmed and unsupported.

I was repeatedly told by staff members:
“If you’re not happy, we’re not happy.”
Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite. The handling of my concerns has been dismissive and final in tone, despite colleagues verbally agreeing that my grievances were valid.

The only gesture offered was a “commercial proposal” that still left me significantly worse off than I would have been had I been advised properly in October. This offer did not remotely rectify either the financial discrepancy or the mis‑sold Gateway functionality.

Danlec has now stated that their position is final, and it remains unclear whether they intend to provide a legal obligation to ongoing product support regarding the system setup and/or Gateway not performing as described.

I have used DANLEC before for my EV charger install . They were efficient , friendly with excellent communication via e mail , text and telephone . This time they were exactly the same and gave me a very competitive price . I have no hesitation in recommending this company , As a result of their quality work I am going to have them install my Solar system

Danlec Electrical recently installed an EV charger for me. (Ohme EPod) I couldn't be happier with the job. From the initial call to get a quote to the installation was only a few weeks. I was kept updated throughout the process via text message and email. The price quoted was competitive and I went with Danlec based on other reviews. I received all installation documents quickly and Danlec also registered the installation with Northern PowerGrid who contacted me via email to say it was logged on their systems.
