I wasn’t very confident in my Photoshop skills, despite having used it before. I was looking for a course that clearly explains how to use the tools, and that’s when I found Dansky’s course even though I already knew him from YouTube. It completely changed the way I approach and use Photoshop.

I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made in such a short time, and it’s a true reflection of Dan’s teaching and guidance. His support, especially through Discord, has been invaluable in helping me build confidence and develop new skills. While I still have more to learn before tackling more advanced tasks, this experience has given me a strong foundation to continue growing.

At last an online course that manages to teach and remain fun and interesting. Dan has a laid back and light-hearted attitude; I feel like I'm hanging out with a friend who's gently encouraging me to play with the software, making it a fun process rather than a dry old learning chore. I look forward to taking the next lesson, and Dan is always available for any question, no matter how silly it might seem. Rather than covering every detail in a list-like fashion, we're taken through the software lightly, and then in depth, so we don't ever feel out of depth. It's still a lot to learn, but it's a lot less overwhelming with Dan's style of teaching.

The course is well-organized and concise, with each lesson building on the last using real designs. Dan provides examples, helpful files, and challenges to apply what we've learned. The course also offers access to an active community. Another, unique feature of this course is the ability to ask questions and receive real assistance, as well as receiving feedback from other course members. Dan's approach in this course allows me a better understanding of various ideas and insights about design.

As someone that has dabbled in Photoshop and Illustrator for many, many years, I learned so many new things through both the Illustrator and Photoshop First Class programs that Dansky teaches through these online course, and I am really looking forward to working through both of his Illustrator and Photoshop Master Classes that will be available soon.

Taking notes doing this course is highly recommended because it can be learning overload, with so much information coming at you at once. And trying to remember it all at once is a daunting task.

Additionally, some of the sections can be very challenging especially in the photo composition lessons where you are trying to mimic brushed in shadows, midtones, highlights. So be patient.

I also appreciate how responsive Dansky is to answering any of his students questions, and I definitely would recommend watching some of his live streams as well, to see how he personally works to tackle various projects in coordination with working through these courses.

In closing, I feel these courses are great for anyone that is serious in truly learning the in and outs of these programs.

Simple, fun and effective. Structured and logical. All wrapped up by a deep and pleasant voice.

Dansky hands down the best instructor I know. I have invested in myself. Now I have bought a bunch courses and it does not match to what you learn here. And the community is amazing. Dan is the man. Anyone that would give less than 5 stars is crazy. I believe I invested into all of his courses even the masterclasses that I invested in on the early bird special. And these courses are still cheaper than taking a course in college. In fact how much you spend for these courses are still less than what you would spend on one class in a semester. Also, with each module, there are downloads so one can follow along with everything Dansky is doing. These courses are definitely worth it and I am very satisfied with what I've seen thus far.

Even as a seasoned designer, I found this course useful in just the first few lessons. There are so many little things that we are not taught in school that I am learning here. Dansky speaks very clearly and is incredibly knowledgeable making it easy to follow. I totally recommend for beginners especially, but to the experienced designer as well to learn more useful tips and tricks.
