We have used Dean and his team on two occasions now, first to decorate our lounge and on the second occasion our kitchen/dining room and utility. The communication with Dean has been excellent from first contact to arrange an estimate through to completing the job. Dean and the team are very reliable and professional and the decorating is of a high standard and the price is competitive. We will be arranging for them to come back soon to decorate our hallway and vestibule.

Dean and his team work to a high standard and are very pleasant to have around. Reliable and competitive. They also went out of their way to move furniture about whch proved beyond us. The work comprised multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.
This is the second time we have used their services and we are very happy to recommend.

We are happy to recommend Dean MccCathie unreservedly. They did a great job last September on our rhones downpipes and soffits, and when we called them back last month to repair water damage to a soffit caused by a leaking roof they carried out the repair promptly and efficiently at no charge

I have used dean multiple times he came highly recommended and did not disappoint. He fully designed and finished a commercial to residential block I was developing. His staff were always on site and highly skilled, dean was able to solve issues and advise other trades on site. Helped trades stick to architects drawings weren’t which sometimes weren’t clear.
I most recently had dean decorate my own house and the finish is unbelievable it’s been brung back to life with a bang. He’s a really personable guy. I would recommend him to anyone. Without a doubt the best contractor I’ve used, I wouldn’t use anyone else. Top finish, fair price, with everything always clear and schedules stuck to like clockwork. Can’t praise him enough credit to His trade, clearly takes extreme pride in his work big or small.

Dean and his team stripped off existing paper put up lining paper and painted walls, woodwork and radiator in our bedroom. They also painted the inside of our sliding door wardrobe.
The job was quick, efficient and finished to a high standard.

This was the second room they have decorated this year so far, and they are returning soon to complete main door, vestibule and hall.

We have used dean numerous times, dean and his team are clean, tidy, friendly and outstanding at their job. Would highly without a doubt recommend.

We agreed he would paint my living room on Friday June 17th. He was due to arrive at 8am.. Between 8 and 10 I called, text and WhatsApped him and no reply (despite the fact I could see he was online). Then I get a message "stop phoning, you're giving me a headache already" then says "your job 2"...a living room to be painted in 1 day and not here by 1030am! Told him forget it and he said "do it yourself". Horrible man. We will leave as many reviews in other outlets as possible.

**Update** -- He replied below he got abusive calls from me but then says he had 16 missed calls..A liar and time waster! AVOID!

**Update** - Now saying he never had the address, but surely he would have asked for it if he was coming.. Falling over his lies. Pathetic overall rating matches the service.

If you didn't have the address, then more reason to answer the 16 missed calls.. But you didn't because you are a time waster and the most unreliable tradesman I've ever come across.

Dean and his team did a fantastic job painting our entire flat. The standard of workmanship was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole team were friendly, courteous and clearly take pride in their work. Highly recommended.

Best service we have used

Dean and his team redid the painting in my flat and sanded and treated the wooden floors throughout. He was very responsive and able to start work immediately, completing the job in the timeframe needed for us to move in. He was adaptable when there were a few unwelcome suprises along the way - at minimal additional cost. His team were friendly and were keen to address concerns when pointed out. There were a few imperfections we noticed after living in the space for a while hence 4 stars not 5 but on the whole we are happy with the results. The floor especially looks amazing.

He really does know his stuff and can tell he really does take pride in his work. His pricing was very competitive so didn’t hesitate on bringing him in. The job was done to the very highest Standards and the work was excellent in the time frame we agreed. Very very pleased and I have already recommended him to fiends and family.
