Fraudsters accepted payment and when queried delivery a few days later told that item was out of stock and they were expecting deliveries that day so knowingly sold an item knowing it wasn't actually physically available and didn't advise customer of situation allowing an informed decision on continuing with purchase. The very definition of fraudulent, obtaining by deception.

Bought a 60 metre Vileda SUPADRY Rise & Fall rotary drier from Vileda's site at a competitive price of £103.99 with delivery to the West of Scotland being "Free" DF Sales, who purport to be an approved agency, were named as being the supplier. Paid in full, by M & S credit card, only to be told 2 days later that because of our Postal Code [not Outer Mongolia] there would be an additional delivery charge of £49.99 to be paid before despatch. This applies to most, if not all of Scotland and other parts of mainland UK. BUYER beware. Needless to say my good lady wife politely pointed out their "errror" and monies were reimbursed

Shabby experience buying from Vileda's website. Ordered a washing line and was emailed - the day before delivery was due - to say it'd be an extra £20 for delivery. Their website is contradictory about where delivery charges apply (a map graphic says one thing, while tables below say something different). And the sales people on email and phone weren't very helpful. Avoid - buy somewhere else.
Rips people off and breaks the law.
I can't give it below one star because trust pilot doesn't have this facility. I ordered a settee for £2200 from dfs. The salesman didn't tell me until after I signed the credit company paperwork that it would take them 5 months to deliver it. I also was told that I could take out additional 5 year insurance with them and if the leather was scratched or damaged, I would get a replacement. A couple of weeks before my settee was delivered they rang me up because they wanted me to resign the finance paperwork because the credit company had lost it. I told them I would contact the credit company because this, was a major breach of data protection concerning my personal and financial information and I reported it to my bank. Then they rung me back and told me another story that it was their policy to shed their copies of credit agreements and that this had been done by accident because of the length of the delivery waiting time. When the settee was delivered there was a large rip in the underneath of it. The delivery men took a photo of it and said someone would contact me and no one did.
Within three weeks the seat of the settee had sunk, the leather had stretched and it had gone shiny when the rest was matt. I rang them and I was told that someone would come and look at it. They arrived and told me that the foam is allowed sinks by 20 or 30 percent and because the springs under the foam are still intact, there is no manufacturing fault. The cleaning kit that I paid an additional £60 for was a few disposable leather cleaning wipes in a box. They didn't see this as a problem either. I told them that the settee was delivered damaged and that I wanted them to take it away and to give me a full refund. I was told a manager would ring me. Then I read the small print on the insurance and because of all the exclusions there is no one who would be able to claim on it and it isn't even valid until after the dfs guarantee period Obviously the dfs guarantee is worthless too. The manager contacted me and told me there was no fault with the settee and the foam is 'allowed to sink' and I could go to the furniture ombudsman if I wished. Again, I asked for a full refund and then I was told that if they collected the settee, I could choose another one but they would withold 20% of my refund which would be over £400 because the settee would need to be resold and they wouldn't get as much for it. I asked why I should only get a part refund and where does the law say this was the case as it was damaged upon arrival and he could not tell me where in law it states any of this or in their paperwork. He also stated that the ripped cloth the settee was not part of the settee as it is only there to stop it being damaged in transit.
Basically I have been ripped off by dfs regarding the settee, the additional insurance and the cleaning kit.
I suggest that anyone reading this should not buy one single thing from this company who are taking money off of people illegally and I intend to sort this out through legal means. This company and its illegal sales practices should be stopped. I intend to do just that.

Forgot part of our order that was 4 months ago. Waited in on 3 occasion to no avail. Their staff seem poorly trained in how to interact with customers. Horrible experience
Very Bad / Poor Customer Service and Customer Care!! Please avoid this company at all Costs
We purchased an expensive Trek Corner Sofa in October 2021 from the store in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent and got delivery of the sofa on March 12th 2022 which was a long wait which they blamed on covid so we could not do anything about. When we got the sofa there was a banging noise on one of the chairs when anyone sat down on it and the chair started to sink and sag which started to pull the fabric. So we called them up to get it fixed in which they sent an engineer out and he said that the springs had been fitted wrong in one of the chaires. So he went away and raised it. Since then we have just been fobbed off with phone calls saying the parts are on order etc. We got a text on April 6th 2022 saying the parts had been orded which was a month later than the engineers report. Then on 25th of April 2022 another text saying the parts are now with our supplier. Since then just the same text and still no parts or the sofa anywhere near been fixed. Shocking customer service. They don't follow anything up or call you back. Please don't use this company. Avoid at all costs as they still keep taking payments and leave you with a sofa that's not fit for purpose. We are going to contact Trading Standards now as its beyond a joke.

Taken a month to process a return they confirmed as received, had to chase them multiple times. Once refund was issued amount was incorrect and had to chase them again. Not sure if criminals or simply incompetent.

I got my sofa taken before xmas and I was told this will take 3 days to be done a month later the sofa came back and it still has not being serviced. The delivery guys couldn't even put the sofa back together as it was done poorly.
I have being on the phone with DFS so almost month now not sure how the company is run.
The services I wen I call the customer service is someone will call you back but nothing.
I can't believe this is how customers get treated.

Poor customer service since furloughed rep, now just box shifting and don’t know own products, cost be £420 in fitters fees due to the incompetence of the sales team.
Poor company all round
A poor company with poor customer service, poor quality products and unreliable guarantees. Poor quality bar stools (purchased Jan 2019) They look nice but the base does not stay firm, problems started after a couple of months. After sending an email to raise concerns, which I had to do twice before receiving a response, I was told I should have used superglue on the screws. They sent some through and I did as requested, however, after a couple of weeks the wobbles returned. I contacted them again to ask to return the faulty stools ( after chasing a number of times) they refused to refund and sent me replacement bases, which are exactly the same as the faulty ones. Although the stools are supposed to have a two year guarantee it seems to me that this is worthless!
Avoid sinks ( DF Sales Ltd T/A Sink)
We ordered a sink and Tap for next day delivery. Before ordering we confirmed that both products are in stock and will be delivery next day if order before 12 and 5 days later we are till waiting. We can’t get any information from Sinks UK - they can’t even tell us if the sink has been dispatched, who is delivering and tracking number. . We called multiple times and no one there is interested. Only answer we get that product is out for delivery. They have told us they will find out and call back but so far we have not had a call. We still have no idea where are sink and tap and kitchen is being fitted now and delayed 1 week already . I strongly advise to avoid sinks ( DF Sales Ltd T/A Sink) at all costs - utterly incompetent and uncaring!!

I had a poor experience with a digital photo frame. I wrote to the Director/Chairman who wrote a great letter of response accepting my complaint and recognising the issues within his company. His apology was genuine so good luck to him on their journey of development.

Utterly shocking excuse of a company
This company really needs to study the basic customer service rules.
We ordered 2 chairs and high table to use on an exhibition in the Netherlands. We paid via company credit card and paid an extra £10.00 for next working day AM delivery. When I called this morning to find out the status of our delivery I had to find out that the table was never sent out and that unfortunately there was nothing she could do about it but the chairs were out for delivery..... What good is that going to do me, this furniture only works if we have it as a set not just one part of it.
After being on the phone with them for over 45 minutes to only hear how unable they are to sort the problem out we finally agreed that a discount would be arranged and I would source a table somewhere else which I have now hired from a furniture rental company. The chairs however still have not arrived and it is nearly 3pm as i am writing this review. DFSales are saying they have contacted the delivery company but are failing to provide me with an update and getting information from them is difficult.
Please do not buy from them when you are in a rush as they do not know how to deal with a situation when it goes wrong but are very able to take extra money to provide a premium service!
