Bought a laptop online, didn't realise I was automatically signed up to First membership and only noticed months later I was being billed for something I did not sign up for. this is a total scam.

I wrongly assumed buying from an online, i couldn't even say the DS name because it was deemed "inappropriate language" store would mean shipping would be fast but oh no, after purchasing i realize that the items wouldn't even be sent for another week, Basically items coming from temu in China arrive faster, i will never buy online from these people again, These people don't know how to run a business.

Took them 4 days to just dispatch my order (small parcel of 4 hairclips)..slowest online order ever

Awful experience, bought a vacuum with a free item, they didn't send it. After I ordered the item the change the free item to another item which I did not want. It's taken like 3 weeks back and forth. Exhausting

I have been waiting over a month for my product to ship and dont think it will ever arrive. I tried reaching out to the marketplace seller, a NZ company but they keep saying their looking into it.
Its also hopeless trying to get a resolution directly from d smith, they just contact the seller who emails with the same excuse. Id advise you steer clear of this company.

Brought a Garmin watch worth over 1k. Watch was having issues and Garmin told me to send it back and I would get a full refund.
Dicksmith has just ignored me and never refunded me. It's a joke. I hate them.

D ick Smith has been taking money out of my account for a membership I didn’t want after I bought a product. Scam! Absolute fraudulent conduct by this company, beware, I will never buy anything from them again.

Absolutely NO standards when it comes to their products - worse than Temu. Diabolical 'customer service'. I bought an e-collar that TRAUMATISED my dog when it malfunctioned - and ZERO accountability from this SCAM company

This company is not trustworthy. It contracts to Grabstore to sell cheap Chinese rubbish. I had an electronic item that had damaged wires which could have caused a fire. I sent D*ck Smith photos when I opened the package and they referred me to this grabstore place. They refused to refund or replace saying that it was fair wear and tear. I had already pointed out it had never been used and even if it had it should last longer than a week! They finally decided to replace the item but not without a bunch of emails back and forwards where they tried to fob me off.

Item arrived incomplete valid at $990.23 no response after repeated contact.

Awful. Purchased a phone tripod that was a piece of junk and truly did not work at all. Came in a box that had incorrect grammar on it. They were rude in their email interactions when I asked for my money back and they expected me to pay almost as much as the product to return it myself. Do not shop with this company.

I have bought a couple of phone over the years (from DS NZ) for myself and on behalf of other (Samsung & iPhone) and have had no issues at all. Delivery has been within 7 working days as expected and was able to track & trace the whole way. Customer service got back to me within 24hrs when I had a question so overall 8.5/10

Terrible service. I received a chrome book that did not go and they have not given me a refund. DickSmith is saying that it is up to me to repair it, they could but it would be at their cost. I paid money for a working Chrome Book but got one that did not work. Very unhappy. Buyer beware......they are a scam for sure! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM DICKSMITH ONLINE.

What a con. Their market place to other retailers means they duck all responsibility. You buy on a NZ site but are expected to pay to return goods to Australia. Which of course too expensive!

These guys are now an absolute joke, made an order status hasn’t changed for 3 weeks. No phone number to ring all they have is a broken system that only gives you an option to create a ticket. “Support team” emails they’re going to review then never does then sends a stupid email asking to review their help. Pathetic and time wasting don’t bother shopping through them I’d give them a negative score if I could

I ordered a product online on the 11th of March and was told it would only arrive on the 28th of April. 7 weeks to deliver to NZ? I questioned why and got no response. I have just been informed that there is a delay and it will now arrive on the 6th of May?? 2 months to deliver something to NZ? That is shocking online service. I will not be buying stuff from Dicksmith again.
