Terrible service, we would never recommend. Unprofessional liars, they will take your money and will not get you planning permission that they said they would in the first place and make many mistakes!!. They sell you sales pitch make it sound great like they can get you planning permission but in reality they can’t. Filling your own planning permission application and submitted to the council. It’s straightforward and easy!!.

If we could we would leave zero stars!. The drawings that we received and the communication with John with the council planning department was shockingly terrible!. As the client we was not updated or informed with the details going on the drawing for materials that wouldn’t be used that was done without our permission or consent! mistakes were made and those drawings could be done much better by a child! and not detailed drawings like other companies would provide and other architects do!. When we received a quotation by a builder and they saw the drawings they said that the wording on those drawings were from another building project for another client, and just the drawings of our project was added with the same wording! many builders, family and friends saw those drawings and they all said it’s not worth the money that we paid!. I paid those clowns for their services, but I ended up sending emails to the council planning department because of the rubbish communication by those clowns and the planning department council workers! this whole situation caused me so much stress, depression, upset and anxiety! wasted my time and money!. We also received email with approval when it was incorrect by John! And they didn’t even check with us when they filled out the planning permission application so we can have a face-to-face meeting with the council from planning department. Those clowns are useless and ridiculous!. We don’t believe all of those reviews are genuine!. We would never recommend those Cowboys! and yous have all been warned!. 😡🤬

Absolute best service I’ve ever had on many building projects.

I received building regulation drawings from Discount Plans. I was surprised at how detailed they were. They must have spent a considerable amount of time preparing my drawings although their fees are a lot cheaper than other architects in London. I am very pleased to get planning permission for a loft convention first time round. A big thank you to John and his team!

Great service which saved us approximately £1000+. Nigel was really knowledgeable as came up with some interesting ideas which was within the planning guidelines. Its surprising that after talking to so many architectural company's (6) that no company could give a straight forward answer in price and what was needed. We found that we were getting familiar with the stages we knew what we needed and time and time again the other company's where escalating on all on different types of drawings needed including engineering design. Get Discount Plans to deal with your project and not these high street Architects, they are tying to get as much money off you as possible when its a simple design you are trying to achieve without ay dramas.

I and my brother have used Discount Plans Architectural Design Services for the past two years now and can say that we would not go anywhere else. John and his highly experienced team have successfully achieved approval on five major projects from a mix bunch of works from Extensions to Loft Conversions. The quality of work is outstanding, even the building inspectors where complimenting on the high standard of detail given on the drawings to work off. In all five occasions, the drawings were produced within 2 weeks and the team still meet unexpected deadlines when asked to out of the blue.
