Great help from their live chat team
Great help from their live chat team. I spoke with Bethany who was very helpful. It's reassuring for someone like myself who isn't too clued up on investing in shares etc. and just relied on cash ISAs or interest from savings accounts.

Internal transfers from AJ Bell appear to be an issue, and are in danger of collapsing my house purchase
[I have changed my review from 1 to 3, as 8 hours after this review was replied to - they corrected the transfer error and the money was paid.]
I've been with AJ Bell in some form since tthe start of the year. In May I made the decision to transfer my Lifetime ISA to Dodl as I was using the same funds but I could benefit from a lower annual fee.
This appears to be a big mistake.
Upon trying to withdraw my funds to buy my first house, I was advised a turnaround of 10 days. I submitted the form on Monday 8th, looking to complete on Friday 19th. I was aware this was shorter notice that I'd like, but I'd had a very complicated buying process with a corporate seller on the other side.
The form was only confirmed as received on Thursday 11th. It later became known that only at this point did AJ Bell count the 10 days from. Theoretically, they could have taken weeks to accept the form, and then only count the ten working days from there. I still feel the information on this is misleading. The AJ Bell (proper) side is a little more clear, which I think speaks to the quality of information on the Dodl side.
I chased the withdrawals team a bit (which is shared with AJ Bell proper) and they tried to action a withdrawal on Thursday 18th to allow me to complete. It then became apparent there was a discrepancy with what I believe is called the HMRC application interface for LISAs. This was identified as occuring from my transfer from AJ Bell to AJ Bell Dodl. This was later described to me as an "error".
I am now in a poisition where I shall spend the entirety of Christmas stressing about whether £31k of funds will be released or not or whether I will lose my house. I have still not to this point had it explained to me what the exact error is.
I am supposed to be completing on the 6th now, with the sellers growing highly unhappy - as they have, I belive, lost money due to the change in their financial reporting year. I am seen to be responsible which is not a burden I like carrying.
No promises have been made as to whether I will get my money. 29 days will have passed within the period when the new completion date is intended to be. I hold no hope.
In regards to the product, I have found Dodl infantile. The support have been rather unhelpful with slightly off-center questions (such as, can I get accrued interest paid when I withdraw my full LISA?). I never got an aswer so I had to plan, assuming no. Yes, it is not made for me. But equally, I surely shouldn't be treated as a second-class customer purely because I'm not with the main product

They gave me notification stating 50K…
They gave me notification stating 50K gbp funds has been withdrawn. However later informed that it was a technical error. How can company this big make so big mistake with such a big amount ? For me they are not reliable.
