Old dogs new tricks…..
Although Sailor has been with me for 10 years and was supporting my disabilities with task recognition and assistance we finally decided to take a course. This course taught us several things we were unaware of and/or could work on. We spent some time at the mall retraining and I believe we are doing much better than we had been. Found the course informative and interesting, even enjoyed the tests!

Cameo is awesome
Cameo is awesome. She walked me through all the steps to get both my Molly and Cooper trained. I underwent difficulties with my payment plans, but Cameo was able to get everything worked out for me. She was a huge help. I’m looking forward to starting pups classes🐾🐾

Dog Academy personnel was always helpful with any questions, fixing passwords issues and any problems we encountered during my dog training. I have to express my deepest thanks to Nicholas Fedele my dog trainer. He went far and beyond the scope of his duties. Always helping and advising how to improve my dog Training. Thank you Nick. Finally my dog is a Psychiatric Service Dog.

First : The person on the phone said that it was “Nineteen Ninety five”. Wasted my time, talked and talked , when i finally got to the check out it was 1,995. I should’ve probably known that …. that’s not that big of a deal just wasted my time, but what is really a big is that after i told them I wasn’t interested cuz it was expensive they continued to called so many times a day. It’s unprofessional and WEIRD.

Talked with two lovely people today in regards to training my dog. Lauren Hawkins did such an amazing job with setting me up with training. She is so sweet and helped me feel better about my dog and his behavior. Nic was also very helpful with my platinum welcome. He is so nice and fun. Scamming people over Service Dogs
They offer Psychiatric Service Dog Training but are not educated on service dogs or service dog laws!!
I have no clue how they train for other things, but the fact that they are so uneducated about service dogs and still offer the training to ANYONE is very upsetting. Service dogs are for people who are disabled; they are task-trained to mitigate a person's disabilities. They aren't an accessory to take everywhere with you. Having a Dr. approve the tasks trained does not make it ok or appropriate. The biggest red flag was being told at the end of the PSD training that my dog would be registered. Service animal registries are not a thing..

If I could give this company less than one star, I absolutely would. I had two online sessions, which were pretty much a waste of my time and money. Then when I had an in person trainer, they just had me sit with my dog the entire training and that was all. The next session that I was supposed to have, the trainer ghosted me. No call. Nothing. They try to talk you into the “cheapest” package— most sessions for least amount. This is a scam. When I asked for a refund for my remaining sessions (as I’m very dissatisfied to say the least), I was told that wasn’t possible. Don’t waste your time with this company. There are many great trainers out there.

I appreciated that you cannot move on with incorrect answers on the tests. This is a very important course and requires you to be aware of public, self, and dog safety. It also taught me what my future service dog and I need to work on.

I had a disappointing experience
I had a disappointing experience with this dog training company. The trainer recommended a miniature e-collar for my one-year-old pup, Chloe, and several sessions were left unfinished but marked as complete. Unfortunately, by the time I raised my concerns, I was outside the refund window, so no refund was offered.
They did offer to match me with another trainer to finish Chloe’s training, which I appreciate, but I ultimately didn’t feel comfortable continuing with the company.
I’m hopeful that others have better experiences, and I hope the company takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve communication, follow-through, and training recommendations.

It is heavily criticized for functioning as a middleman that charges high prices for generic virtual courses and low-quality localized contractor matching. They constantly harass me by calling from fake numbers each time.
