I went to the Laurelwood Shopping Center Dollar Tree and I found AMAZINGLY cheap snacks(for general prices) that tasted really good and like they should. Cashier was friendly(shoutout to Brandon!) and was quick. Would come back again!

They are building 300 new stores in 2026 but they do not pay to their contractors.
I provided manpower, hotel accommodations, per-diem and some supplies and materials for about $55K and have not been paid. At 3 Stores: Spartanburg SC, Bainbridge GA and Wildwood FL

Great selection prices are fantastic. The craft dept.has such a great selection I don't shop michaels. I pay less at my Dollar tree. DOLLAR TREE is my first choice.

I recently shopped at the Dollar Tree in Madisonville, TX, and left feeling frustrated. The cashier gave me the wrong change, and when I politely pointed it out, I was met with an unhelpful attitude instead of an apology or quick fix. It’s not about the small amount of money—it’s about honesty and customer service. I’ve shopped here many times before, but this experience really shook my trust. I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t have the same problem.

The cashier is disrespectful, gets upset when you return something and refuses to give your money back. The manager had to be called to the front in order to get my refund (02,20,2026). On this day (02,23,2026) the same cashier gave me incorrect change. My bill in cents was .62 cents instead of rounding down and giving me .40 cents, she rounded up and gave me .35 cents. It's not the money it's right vs wrong.

The Dollar Tree just opened a new store in Port St Lucie, Fl. It is located on Floresta Drive. I was in the store when I witnessed a staff member interacting with a special needs customer. She literally took my breath away. as a doctor of over 48 years and having experience with special patients, when I say I was overwhelmed at her kindness and understanding of her customer.
I immediately wrote a letter to the CEO of The Dollar Tree and spoke of this incredible staff member and requested to perhaps REACH OUT and at the very least say "thank you!" I copied the letter and gave her a copy for her manager.
NOTHING!!! Thats what the Dollar Tree managemnt did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! You would think that they do not receive these types of letters very often if at all just asking the company execs to voice their appreciation for this staff member. To single her out and SHOW how appreciative they could be!
The store MANAGER, even with the letter in hand said NOTHING to her...Can you believe that???
I will never enter that store again and tell this story to whomever will listen,
There simply IS NO EXCUSE for this corporate behavior would not you agree???

The cups I ordered are described on their website as paper, but the ones they sent me are plastic. I called customer service, waited an hour, and spoke with "Joyce." She refused to do a UPS pickup for the return. Said she would expedite the issue and get back to me within two hours. That was over a day ago. She never got back to me and now I'm stuck with two shipping cartons of the wrong item.

I've shopped several Dollar Tree locations. The one on Loveland Maderia Road in Loveland, Ohio (Store 08365) is BY FAR the very BEST. The employees are so friendly and helpful. All merchandise is displayed neatly and orderly. There are no clutter aisles. This location has a LOT of items to display and they are done so wonderfully, neatly and easy for the customer to explore. The owner of this Dollar Tree is doing a terrific job and makes customers want to return

well, firing the manager for screaming at my wife and kicking her out for putting a cart away and me out for telling some white dude who told my wife to get the f out to leave her alone would be a good starter. and to stop following Native Americans while we shop would be good too. this happened at store #5458 in Montana

I had a very good experience with the Dollar Tree in Winnipeg on Dakota Street and Beliveau. I was impressed with the selection of items at affordable prices.

Today Jan 26 2026 , I saw this person mistreating a young couple with their newborn baby , it was the most disturbing heartbreaking situation I have ever seen, there young couple had a problem with their debit card they tried a couple of times and this person in this picture and the cashier were very unprofessional laughing and making funny of them.
The couple went to their car to get cash and the staff put their stuff away, when the couple told them they were going to go to their car to get money, when the young couple came back This person in the picture threatened to call the police on them just because they asked why their groceries were put away .
It was the most disturbing situation I saw , We offered to pay for their things and this person on this picture refused to accept the payment.
Hopefully corporation take this review seriously and train this person better , on my end I will submit what I witnessed today to the right department.
To our community, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS RACISM STORE , this is not Us , Utah Lovez our Hispanic community and this is unacceptable how this person Mistreated this young teenagers and their baby

Dear Dollar Tree Corporate Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that was recently shared publicly on Facebook involving one of your store locations, which raises serious questions about policy enforcement and employee conduct.

According to the post, a customer visited a Dollar Tree location and selected approximately 30–35 penny-priced items. The store manager approached the customer and stated that only one of each penny item could be sold. At checkout, the manager then removed nearly all of the items from the customer’s cart, allowing the purchase of only 5–6 items, and instructed the cashier to bag the remaining merchandise.

What is most troubling is what allegedly occurred afterward: once the customer exited the store and entered their vehicle, the manager reportedly came outside and placed the removed items into her own car.

The post includes photos of:
• A receipt showing multiple penny-priced items purchased
• The exterior of the store
• The vehicle allegedly belonging to the manager

If accurate, this situation raises several concerns:
• Inconsistent or improper enforcement of penny-item policies
• Refusal to sell merchandise that was already selected by a customer
• A potential conflict of interest or misuse of authority if an employee personally took items that were denied to a customer

I understand that penny items may have internal handling rules; however, if such policies exist, they should be enforced consistently, transparently, and without any appearance of personal benefit to store management.

I am sharing this in good faith and respectfully request that Dollar Tree review this incident, clarify the official policy regarding penny items, and ensure that all managers adhere to ethical and professional standards that reflect the company’s values.

I bought a 2026/2027 jot brand planner/agenda at my Irvington, NJ dollar tree. the price on the planner is on a red sticker. It says 1.50. That is what the price was last year. I expected it to be the same price. When I go to pay I am shocked to have the cashier tell me its 2.00 dollars Is he serious!? for this flimsily made notepad book. Last year i bought one and it was for the years 2025/2026.I thought $1.50 was highway robbery. but since it was good for two years I thought I was getting a good deal. the notebook turned out to be so flimsy it busted up on me way back last June. It fell apart and I had to use rubber bands to keep it together. The fact that the planner is made for two years makes it too heavy. The spine of the book is too weak to support such a thick book.
Also, Management does not support their employees. I witnessed a customer harassing an employee in front of customers and the customer was cussing up a storm. Management stood there and made the employee put up with this obnoxious behavior. I felt sorry for the employees. Customers are crappy at this dollar tree. They shoplift too.

What a mess. The dollar tree in Granger Indiana on University Drive has turned into a half empty dump. Prices have skyrocketed, majority of items are either improperly marked or not priced at all leading to confusion at the checkout. The employees are rude and untrained. Checkout lines are backed up and slow. Employees are typically seen standing around outside the front door, smoking cigarettes, and playing on their cell phones. Many times this location has posted signs on the front door stating that they are closed during normal business hours. They need to rename themselves the $20 and under store .

Do Not work for this company.

HR allows hostile work environments, employees attacking other employees, they also allow employees to steal time and merchandise , and when the store manager turns this in, HR goes after the store manager and not the employee who is stealing....
if you turn it in to HR, you're the problem, not those who are causing the problem.
HR and DM's lie to their employees, and work them like dogs for $11.00 an hour. Yes they won't pay employees more than $11.00 an hour and you must be 18 to work there. HR add hours every year to the stores open operations at many locations, and expect the store manager to pick up an extra 48 hours a month, without paying them extra on their salary. If the store manager speaks up, and sets professional boundaries....HR (Michelle) goes off on the store managers, belittles them, won't do anything to stop a hostile work environment... Even when the store manager goes to them for guidance. And they don't help or communicate.... Instead Michelle in HR would rather get rid of the employees and store managers... Than do her damn job.
Do not work for this company. They will screw you over, and expect you to put your family on the back burner with little to no time off.

I’m disgusted by the rudeness of a young person who cashed me out today. I had purchased 2 cards ( now $1.50 vs Dollar Store $1.00) and the total came to $3.39. I gave the young lady cash of $3.40. While waiting for my receipt she stared at me and said
“we’re good” as if I was waiting for change. I politely replied that I was only waiting for my receipt. Again staring at me she announced while pointing to the receipt still on the printer “ its over there”. For a small purchase I don’t expect praise or thanks for shopping, but I do anticipate some semblance of civility. I always try to be kind and Always say thank you after all my purchases at any store. Today I was so disappointed that those words did not exit my mouth.
The store was at Fourth Ave. in St. Catharines, just for verification.
