I have been using "domestic pumps" for the last couple of years. They have saved me thousands in not having to buy new pumps, when they were able to repair them. They have great in depth knowledge of pumps and their ability to quickly diagnose the problem is very impressive. In this era of sustainability, circularity, repair rather than throw out, domestic pumps are the business. I would highly recommend them.

Hand on heart I had an extraordinary experience with Pascal from Domestic pumps that restored my faith in people. We had an issue with a burst pipe and water and water leaking through the roof. We got a plumber who came out and stopped the leak and also put in a new shower mixer type as the thermostat had gone.

Whilst the shower was fixed the plumber noticed the the pump did not stop after the shower was finished which we now realize has being going on for years. The plumber gave me Pascal's name and said this a great company who will come down and fix the pump unit itself rather than buy a new one.

I called Pascal, spoke to him and explained what the issue was and he said he would have someone call out Monday morning, this first phonecall was Friday afternoon. An hour later Pascal asked me to take some photos of the pump and send them to him which I did.

Around 11PM on Friday I was heading to bed and noticed that Pascal had sent me two photos circling a section of the pump highlighted in red, asking to check a small black band to make sure it was fully pushed up and to then try the pump. Next morning I got up and checked the piece Pascal had highlighted and pushed it up fully. I then tried the shower and when the shower was turned on the pump kicked into action and more importantly, when the shower stopped so to did the pump!

What is extraordinary is that Pascal did not have to do this, he could just have easily sent someone out to 'fix / refurbish' the pump and charge me a lot of money ... but he didn't and this simple fix saved me a lot of money. I have not come across something like this in a very long and cannot recommend Pascal enough and thank him for his honesty.

Fantastic and professional service from start to finish. Spoke to Peter Wednesday afternoon and Kevin the engineer arrived at 7am the next morning. Issue with my pump fixed without any hassle at all. Highly recommend this company for any pump issues.

I had an issue with my pump which no longer stopped automatically. I called on a Friday morning, shared a picture of the pump and within less than 1h I had someone in my house fixing the issue. Very fast, efficient, competent and friendly service. I was clearly explained and showed what was the issue ( in my case the sensor).
Also the price in function of the type of issues was communicated up front so no surprise here.
Very happy with them and highly recommended!

Wow. Amazing people - Super fast, knowledgeable, honest and efficient! Pump stopped working and phoned them, Peter discussed the issue and organised a visit in two days time. Kevin phoned the day before to re-confirm, arrived on time and fixed the issue. No fuss. I have had issues with plumbers where you get no-shows / they dont turn up when they say / etc, no such issues with Domestic Pumps - their communication and knowledge was second to none, fixed the issue and checked the rest of my system, and charged me exactly what they said they would - I wish they did other things beyond pumps, I would hire them for that too! Contacted Peter when my pump suddenly stopped working after a power outage, and had kev out the next day who was super helpful and went above and beyond to help fix.

My apartment Monsoon shower pump was leaking, a few places recommended replacement at cost of €1000 +, phone Domestic Pumps and described issue to them, they recommended repair and said they would repair the pump it in situ for €240 which included call out, any parts and full check of all pump functions and the apartment hot water system/settings (as water being too hot could cause pump seal to fail). Arranged call out for next day, Kevin arrived as arranged and phoned when 30 minutes away (as requested). Repaired pump and tested immersion temp and settings for the exact price quoted. No messing, no fuss, an efficient well organised operation. Thanks.

Superb service as always and i cant say how much help Paschal has given us whenever we have a problem with our pressure pump. Unbelievable knowledge and availability with expert advice and guidance. I reached out to Domestic Pumps Ltd. and was blown away by their service...it was truly above and beyond. I want to thank Peter and his team for support.
I don't do reviews very often but these guys were simply outstanding and a pleasure to deal with.
From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly helpful. As a mechanical engineer I was delighted when they took me on a walk through their workshop, showing me their rigs, setup, and the meticulous way they bench-test their repair work...top-class traditional operation. I knew my pump was in safe hands... They turned around my repair in just under 25 minutes and took the time to explain the issue in detail.
A plumber had quoted me €350 to resolve the problem initially. Instead, I decided to remove the pump, bring it in for repair, and reinstall it myself. The total cost? Just €40 and a bit of my time.
Timely, competitive, friendly, and genuinely helpful... Domestic Pumps Ltd. is, to my mind, a model service provider. Very highly recommended!

My pump was seized from unfrequent use, I got parts (cheapest) from Domestic pumps and sound advice, pump works again.

I Called on Monday morning and they had their pump engineer out next day and repaired our monsoon pump. What a fantastic service.

Called a plumber to take a look at our pump he said it needed to be replaced and quoted us over €900 to replace wich is a lot of money to fork out. We decided to get a second opinion and called domestic pumps. They said it was a common problem with that make of pump after a few years. We organised a home visit and to our surprise they actually fixed the pump. Always get a second opinion before forking out hundreds of euro.

We called domestic pumps on Monday morning as our pump did not work over the weekend. Our pump was repaired the same day at a good price.
