I am getting back to working with .NET after three years of using other languages. Dometrain provides just what I need to catch up on the best practices and expand my skill set.

For example, the Entity Framework Core Zero to Hero course provides a very well-structured way to kickstart working with the complex concepts of using EF Core as ORM. The course is very deliberate at introducing concepts at a great pace, leaving more complex topics for later in the course rather than overwhelming the learner.

The courses consist of video lectures with example code, so you can code along. I see that new material is released regularly. So far, the content has been up to date from what I can tell. However, there is no indication when a course was released or when it was last updated.

At the time of writing there is no grading and there are no exams. Hence, I would not consider the certificates from Dometrain to be hard evidence of a particular skill. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a way to build your skills so that you can prove them later, Dometrain is a great resource!

The courses are neatly divided by logical sections, so we can divide the learning process, and contain materials to guide us along each step, allowing us to learn while doing and applying the concepts! The courses are amazing. The instructors all know their topics (and many more) incredibly well. I find I learn as much about other topics as I do about the primary topic. I've picked up so many helpful tips along the way and I go back and watch some over just because I enjoyed the content so much. This is the training website I've been looking for for 20 years! It's great someone finally put something together specifically for C# business developers.

The content and topics covered are excellent. However, I find the pricing to be a bit of a challenge. While the rates may be reasonable for Europe or America, as someone from India, it's difficult for me to afford them without support from my employer. It would be fantastic if there were regional pricing discounts available to make it more accessible.
