Trainer delivery. Odd packaging !

I received my parcel. Very odd delivery. The trainers were delivered in a very large floor steamer box which made me feel that they are not genuine? Unusual box to send them in and they were just placed in this large box with no protection other than the trainer box itself Has anyone else had their parcel delivered in odd packaging !

Superb Customer Service and Products

From ordering to delivery in less than 48 hrs. Genuine Labubu merchandise for my granddaughter's birthday. Royal Mail 'signed for' delivery. Such a pleasure to deal with a company that offers and delivers excellent customer service. I will order from this company again in future. Thank you.

There was a problem at delivery where…

There was a problem at delivery where only one doll of two arrived, I emailed the company who apologised and sent out the other doll. I was extremely happy with the service and emailed to thank them for their prompt response explaining that the doll’s were a birthday present for my granddaughter, they replied saying they were sorry that this happened thanked me for letting them know that the doll arrived promptly and wished my granddaughter a happy birthday

They sent an empty box with no item I purchased inside. The Royal Mail courier who delivered the box witnessed this. I contacted Double Boxed, and they asked me to file a complaint with the nearest police station and Royal Mail. They did not take any action for my unsent or stolen product. I suggest no one buy any product from this company. They do not take responsibility for undelivered or lost items.

We take issues like this seriously. However, for cases involving alleged missing or stolen items, a formal report and supporting evidence are required before we can initiate any Royal Mail investigation or insurance claim. Verbal statements alone are not sufficient to proceed.

According to Royal Mail’s delivery records and the delivery photo, the parcel was delivered with the outer packaging and sealing tape intact at the point of delivery.

The reviewer repeatedly states that Royal Mail “witnessed” this incident, yet has declined to provide any written confirmation, reference number, or evidence from Royal Mail to support this claim, despite multiple requests.

Without official documentation, we are unable to escalate the matter with Royal Mail or our insurer. This process applies equally to all customers and is necessary to prevent fraudulent claims and protect legitimate buyers.

We remain open to reviewing the case immediately upon receipt of a formal Royal Mail report or police reference number.

If I can give no stars I would

If I can give no stars I would! I bought the new balance 204L from double box and they used my costumer rights against me and would not do their part as a seller when the product has been damaged for a hardly worn trainers and clearly has a fault. DO NOT BUY from double box and just buy directly from New Balance! They told me to contact New Balance and kept reassuring that the item is original which I haven’t even asked for the authenticity. I won’t be shocked if New Balance tells me these are not authentic! I will be contacts the citizen advice and take it further!

Update: understanding you are an independent seller looking at the consumer rights act 2015 states clearly my rights as a consumer. Like mentioned it’s been 3 months and not over 3month. I have provided proof of the shoes and the soles the shoe is hardly worn. To any seller if you come back within 3 month and the item has not met the quality you can complain as a seller and get your refund. All online sellers know this. Coming to the authenticity. I never ask but because you guys kept mentioning it put doubt in my head as a consumer. Customer service horrible ! Also respond 10 at night is not professional !

Based on the information provided, the issue raised did not meet the criteria of a manufacturing fault, as the condition showed signs consistent with wear. As an independent retailer, it is standard practice to suggest contacting the brand directly regarding potential manufacturing defects under the manufacturer’s warranty.

All items sold by Double Boxed are 100% genuine and sourced through legitimate channels. We always assess cases fairly and in line with UK consumer law.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I purchased a Christmas present and was later told it could not be exchanged due to a strict 7-day returns policy. No flexibility was offered despite it being a Christmas gift, which was very disappointing.
For a company operating in the luxury space, I expected a more customer-focused approach, especially during the festive period. Unfortunately, they refused to make any exception.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend using this company. DO not buy from this COMPANY
