Scam, be aware. Fake company!!!

I fell for it, exactly as reported before. Quick interest in my motorbike from Gumtree buyer who requested this report. Report doesn't turn up, cannot contact anyone from the website. On line chat line dosnt reply etc. Potential buyer is called Phil and reports to come from Reading. Tel no he used was 07418 375600.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I paid for a report, received confirmation of the order but did not receive the report. They claimed they sent it but it did not turn up despite checking junk mail etc. You cannot speak to anyone, its just a chat box that stops messaging you when you ask it to resend the report they claimed to have sent. Basically Driveaudit robbed me of £39!

SCAM via Gumtree & AdvancedHPI check! Put a Motorhome on Gumtree for sale, someone called Chiara was very interested- insisted on an Advanced HPI check which we paid for (which we now know they are linked to) didn’t show up made an excuse that they had a family bereavement. When I challenged them being a scam they said they still want to buy the Motorhome etc (stalling until the payment of the check is cleared) TOTAL SCAM DO NOT USE - you can see similar reviews below

Put van on gumtree buyer called and sent link for this
I had used another website and got the check and they were insistent we use their link
I did not and they went away

Absolutely and definitely a scam - do not use, the report did eventually turn up (much later than promised) and is not even worth printing - and beware of those posing as prospective buyers who seem really keen on your car, arrange a time and date then ask you to purchase a report before they come. I put a car advert on Gumtree then within minutes had two enquiries - both asking for a report before they come to view, then a third the next morning - also asking for a report. Seems there are a few of these vehicle audit report companies out there - and this is latest scam!

Just be aware , I was asked to pay for a check of car I'm selling and really pleased I checked trust pilot as some of the reviews was identical to the message I received today , please don't use the site drive audit as on other reviews below nearly identical in the messages I received . Definitely a con.

A potential buyer of a used van was very insistent of me to do the online check which I paid £39 for. I received no correspondence from the website, no confirmation email and the buyer has no correspondence now. I get the impression that it is an online scam to make a purchase on their website.

Buyer for my car was instant on using Driveaudit even though I'd paid £9.99 for a full online audit to show the car history and there was no accidents or outstanding finance. I feel the buyer is a scam trying to get me to use a scheme that they're linked to.

Company did what it said so for that it is ok, however over priced and limited info, you can get a lot more info from other well known vehicle report sites for a lot less money.
The thing that doesn't sit well with me is, that i advertised a vehicle for sale, had contact from a perspective buyer who insisted i did a vehicle report from this site as proof it was all ok, i completed vehicle checks via another site (Auto Trader) for far less (under £5) than the escalated £32 for their basic package (more expensive ones available), which had more information regarding the vehicle. i passed all this info on to the buyer who insisted he trusted Drive Audit and would only consider this, even offered to add the fee to the price of the vehicle, so reluctantly i did the check sent it over and total silence since. They will not respond through the previous lines of communication, which were always very responsive over 3 days of sounding very interested. Although i can't prove they are connected, i believe they are and would like to see if anyone has had the same experience. Also when you try to make contact through the support chat on the website, there is no response at all. the receipt for payment came from a random gmail address, not a company name. PERSONALLY I WOULD STEER CLEAR, there are far better options out there.
