Brilliant everytime, Fantastic help and so so lovely with myself and my father when needed. I suffers with heightened anxiety and Sam immediately made me feel at ease when needed to communicate with her. We highly recommend Sam and we are truly thankful and very grateful for her support and kindness from start and onwards.

When I joined ECL to begin with and had gotten to know them, they did actually ask me to write a review for them here. A glowing review for which I gave 5 stars. After about a year with them I decided to take it down as I no longer felt that way. I was tempted to update it with a negative review but decided to hold off and see were things go. To their credit things did improve...for a time. Whether or not I've just been very unlucky or just needed a different kind of support that they couldn't offer, I don't know. Whilst its very clear judging by recent reviews that they have had a positive affect on some people (and just to be clear I've had a mix of both positive and negative experiences with ECL). They are CLEARLY not for everyone, especially if you're autistic. It's something to keep in mind. I was with them for about a year and a half before I posted this review and I haven't had contact with them since January. Overall I feel completely let down and betrayed by them at this point and it doesn't feel right to stay silent on this. My advice is simple, approach with caution.

What can I say about ECL is really helpful and kind they help my to find a job that I want to do and Mal Johnson was really helpful as she knows her self and she help me in so many ways I can't give thanks but I'm grateful! For her for helping me in way I can't put into words Mal is like a angel

Absolutely incredible care. As a care home and day centre entertainer, I visit many, many settings. ECL has blown me away with the level of care they provide. The staff are so engaged with the customers you would think they are looking after their own parents. I have rarely seen such genuine affection shown from carer givers to care receivers. It's a bonus that I am also treated with respect when I visit, but I am just so completely impressed with the happy, safe, uplifting atmosphere you are met with when you enter ECL Loughton. You really feel like you have walked into a family gathering, such is the warmth shown between customers and staff alike. Well done ECL Loughton, keep up the excellent work. You are a credit to your community.

I have been in the care of ELC staff during my stay at the Colonia court care home in Colchester Essex where I have spent the past month in the final phase of recovery from a knee cap operation .ELC staff "Ronda", "Rhea" and "Louise "have been amazing providing encouragement ,guidance and all round support for every aspect of my recovery and will be there when I return to my home to give further assistance. I have never felt so at ease and able to put my trust in people as I have with them always being there for me whatever the situation .My experience with them has restored my faith in Human nature in a world that has no time for the individual and their needs. ECL is obviously a company which employs the very highest training standards and cares about it's customers .

Jessica & her team go above and beyond for the care of my wife. After only a short time in going once a week to the day centre my wife & myself couldn’t be happier & is making such a difference in our lives…

Mel has been absolutely amazing supporting my daughter with kindness and understanding.
She has been a godsend to my family and I will always appreciate all her hard work and tireless efforts in securing a job position for her.

Mark Sansom has been supporting our son to find work.
Mark has always been very positive, supportive, communicative and realistic when dealing with this quest for employment. Our son needs a lot of support to get through the training required for a role in the care industry and at times this has been a bit challenging. I have the feeling that the care industry just needs a bit of shove every now and then to keep it rolling… However, with Mark is “at the helm” things progress well.
Clearly Mark has a great deal of knowledge and experience of how people with Autism and ADHD work and see the world, and the challenges that they face every day of their lives. I am confident that Mark is working extremely hard to provide the support that our son needs and has his very best interests at heart. Mark is also very much the kind of person that I, as a concerned parent and busy business owner can get on well with and we trust completely to provide the help and support that we, as a family, desperately need.
We are extremely grateful to Mark for the effort that he has made and continues to make to support our son. We have absolutely no hesitation in firmly recommending Mark to anybody who needs this type of support.

Richard has helped my daughter Sarah find a job and get settled into it. Now she is gaining confidence through the support she is receiving. Very happy with the help and guidance she is getting.

I recently was in Winsford Care Home in Clacton on Sea from 28th Jan to 25th Feb 2026 under the Recovery To Home scheme. I came from hospital where I had treatment for Guilliam Barre Syndrome and had received physiotherapy to help me walk again and needed time to improve before I went home. The Essex Cares Ltd staff could not have been more helpful, encouraging, friendly every day and efficient in organising the equipment I needed for home. A huge shout out and thanks to Rhonda, Lou, Livia the ECL ladies and Kudzayi the physiotherapist.

We got the absolute pleasure of working with Mark Sansom an Employment Consultant at ECL, what a breath of fresh air, he listened to the needs and abilities of the adult, took into consideration the kind of jobs they wanted to do and ones they did not. He worked so well with the employers and adults combined and even managed to get a free day at the cricket ground for everyone to attend.
If only ECL could clone Mark it would make the experience a lot more pleasurable for the adults.
Mark made the adults feel relaxed and spoke to them and not at them, he really is the best and we hope you keep up the good work.
I hope ECL realise how lucky they are to have someone like you on their team, I hope you get the recognition you so deserve for all of your hard work and dedication.

ECL have been providing carers for an elderly relative with dementia, after she had a long stay in hospital. The staff have been amazing, very patient and thoughtful. Victoria, in particular, has provided outstanding care.

We have been training the staff of Loughton on the Virtual Dementia tour. Cannot express how amazing the staff did. Everyone in the building was polite kind and considerate and made us trainers feel very welcome

A big thank you to Linda and Caroline at ECL for all the help they provide. They are friendly and professional and have a wealth of experience in finding employment for people with special needs. Their help is invaluable.

Met with Linda Lloyd very approachable and calming to talk to and explained everything in a way I understood.

As an ex employee I visited the monthly Marylands Daycare dementia support cafe in Colchester today. A family arrived with their loved one who used to attended Marylands. The family still come to gain support from the staff and manager and show their continued support for such a wonderful friendly coffee and chat morning. The environment is excellant and as always is welcoming by all staff on site.

We are very pleased with the support we have been receiving from our ECL Job Consultant Mrs Katie Connolly. She has been very supportive and caring from day 1. Katie has been very encouraging through out the process of job searching. She has found us job opportunities through her contacts which we would not have known about. Katie's presence through out the whole interview process was very reassuring and led to a positive outcome! Thank you Katie for the fantastic work you are doing!

Massive shout out for Gabriella Twine the CAVS Info and Advice Coordinator for ECL South West. So cheerful and calming when we were faced with trying to settle mum back at home following a full hip replacement at 88 years old. Clear and insightful while we were trying to navigate the numerous support and care teams as mum copes with the physio and logistics of restarting what for her is a new chapter. Shopping and cleaning team connections, not to mention the guidance she provided when trying to tackle applying for attendance allowance. A true angel of a lady!
