Unfortunately, my experience with Eco Haus Solutions has left me disappointed.

I was initially contacted regarding funding towards replacing the glazing in my home. During the appointment, the funding was presented to me as being connected to a government grant/scheme that had apparently started in 2020 and was due to end on 30 September. This created a degree of urgency around making a decision.

I agreed to an order for replacement glass and paid an £860 deposit. However, after reviewing the paperwork afterwards, I noticed that the contract specifically stated that “this is not a government scheme.” This didn’t sit comfortably with how the funding had been presented to me, so I decided to exercise the cancellation rights provided in the contract.

To their credit, Eco Haus confirmed the cancellation promptly and asked me to provide my bank details so that the £860 could be refunded.

Unfortunately, that’s where the experience became increasingly frustrating.

I provided my bank details immediately and subsequently contacted customer services to establish when I could expect the refund. I was eventually advised that refunds could take up to 28 days.

It has now been approximately a month since my cancellation was confirmed and I still haven’t received my £860.

I’ve contacted customer services several times. Each time I’ve been told that they will chase the relevant department and contact me with an update, but I’ve yet to receive a meaningful update or a confirmed payment date.

I’ve now had to formally escalate the matter in writing and request that the outstanding £860 be returned.

I can’t comment on the quality of Eco Haus’s installation work because I cancelled before any work was undertaken. My review relates solely to my experience of the sales process, how the funding was presented to me, and the subsequent handling of my refund.

I will update this review if and when the refund is received.

I am extremely disappointed with our family's experience. My 90-year-old grandfather was contacted about funding and a representative attended his home, this isn't government funded in anyway and it says that on the paperwork. Paperwork was signed that he did not fully understand, and the sales person wrote a deposit cheque which should of been for £1000 but didn't show my grandfather and multiple other cheques were taken during the visit, which raised serious concerns for our family.

When we tried to withdraw, communication from the company was poor and one family member even had a call ended while trying to resolve the issue. Despite requests to cancel, there were continued visits banging on the door and repeated phone calls to the property, causing unnecessary distress to two elderly residents.

We have since instructed the bank to stop all cheques, cancelled the order, and requested that all personal data be removed from the company's systems. The whole experience has been upsetting and has left us questioning how vulnerable and elderly customers are treated, which is completely against what your website advises how you deal with elderly and vulnerable adults. I would strongly urge others to proceed with caution. 0 Star

The fitters were good , polite and cleaned all the glass.

I had the glass replaced and new handles fitted to my original patio door. When they first came out l was going to have a new patio door fitted but they didn't lie to me they suggested I have the new upgraded replacement glass as there was nothing wrong with the frame, which saved me thousands of pounds. From start to finish they were very professional keeping in touch with me to make sure I was happy with everything. The fitter was very professional and made sure everything was cleaned and I was happy with the job done. I can't praise this company enough would definitely recommend them.

Ref 6903. As I have previously posted on this site my £250 deposit has still not been refunded they have all the details they requested through your selves I wonder how many other people they have ripped off what should I do now 🤔we’ll see. Well now it with the “correct department “ you should have no trouble refunding me considering I’ve been waiting since the28 July

The gentlemen were lovely. Clean and tidy. The windows look amazing but i changed the colour of the frames, this meant that where there was some stone missing from around the window which i hadn't noticed before is now like the elephant in the room. Very noticeable,

These people cold call and try to sell double glazing under the guise of it being a reduced price under a government scheme. If you're foolish enough to accept a visit by one of their "surveyors", you will see on the form that there is a box stating "I understand this is not a government scheme". The surveyor will give a range of reasons why glazing needs to be replaced even if there is absolutely nothing wrong with the existing windows. They use aggressive sales tactics and bully vulnerable people into signing up. Avoid these like the plague.

You take advantage of a vulnerable 90 year old man with impaired vision and cancer. Your rep eroniously filled out the form on his behalf, and also took his cheque book and filled out the cheque. I have no wish for further dialogue with you.

We paid £2760 as a deposit but decided to cancel the order after considering the actual price we would be paying for replacement glass and cleaning of the frames. We followed their cancellation instructions and received confirmation that the order was cancelled. EH6491 and EH6492 22/5/26 despite numerous conversations by telephone and emails we are still waiting on our refund of £2760. The whole experience is extremely stressful and disappointing and we wish we had never heard of Eco Haus solutions - I most certainly would not recommend anyone to deal with this unprofessional outfit - they are scammers of the first degree, Eco Haus reply with a recommendation to ring them and I have numerous times but never get a reply to the promised call back as the dept that deal with it are never available and never ever ring back. I only gave 1 star as this was the lowest available, Appalling customer service
Further more on the original transaction date we were informed by a jubilant salesman that we had qualified for 40% discount. This wasn’t applied to the sale and as we were in communication regarding the cancellation and our refund Eco Haus decided to email us informing us “oops” the discount wasn’t applied and they recalculated the total sale price. We informed them that the original cancellation date was still to be adhered to and we did not want to do business with them and we still wanted our refund. As of today 30th of October we still await our refund. How many more customers have been hoodwinked with the 40% discount ???

Team turned up on time and quickly got on with the job.very clean and efficient, hope the next job goes as well

The lads was very good . However was told the job would take 2 to 3 days given the size of the job and the extremely hight cost approximately £18,000.00 I was shocked when after 3 hours I was told its all done! Confused

If you want a good job at reasonable prices,DONT have this company.you have been warned

tried to cancel my installation in the seven days that i am allowed,
they refused to accept the cancelation and are says i have no choice.
they refuse to give me any refund.

Reliable on time every time polite workmen very clean and leave property how they found it would recommend to any one workman ship top quality had 3 different jobs done excellent

Fitters replaced my windows quickly and were polite and respectful of my home.
Didnt clean all windows and pvc frames, but to be fair it was a really hot day!

After requesting further information ,Echo have still not contacted me .
No choice but to start small claims
I have had numerous problems dating back to June, when I ordered window glass replacement from them. First they sent two men, who knew they couldn't complete the work as they needed more men and had no acro props. They left after only being able to replace one small window. After not being contacted by them I rang them and spoke to one of their managers Brendan. He was very rude to me. During the second vist for the installation the team left a large amount of glass in the front garden and broke a window hinge. Rory come to sign of the work for the glass certificate and to look at the broken glass, broken window hinge. He offered compensation but only in goods and to send someone to fix the window. I ordered a patio door. The day after the survey was done, Rory's manger rang ,asking for more money to cover the extra labour needed. After refusing they agreed to waiver this. Then they informed us the total price was higher then what we had signed for with Rory. That their documents stated a different price. After a lengthy and heated discussion with rory's manger and another manager, they said they would call us back. I sent photos of my copy of the invoice with the correct total to them. We didn't heard back from them.
We have also realised we have paid a deposit that should have been made till we agreed to an installation date. Despite sending Ecohuas an email and then a registered letter of intent, I have not received any reply. I am hoping this review changes things or my next option will be to go too small claims court.

Wanted to deal with them because of the positive reviews. Got a quote but asked for another visit to discuss not having so many openers. The salesman said he would come the next day. He didn’t and no call to apologise. Rang in the evening and by luck got his manager, who said he would sort it. No phone call from either. The next day spoke to Customer Services who said they would sort it. No phone calls. Sent email informing of the above, no reply no phone calls. Rang yet again and this time a manager rang me back telling me the salesman was with a client and he would ring me later. Six hours have gone by and no phone call.
If they treat clients like this just wanting to place an order, can’t think how bad they would be if you were in contract with them. Just shows, good reviews don’t always lead to good customer relations.

Noted response to above from vendor. I can give on here names of sales rep who came, name of his manager dates and times of appointments and proof of emails sent. I suggest they look at their telephone logs which are recorded for training and use them to a) train their staff and b) sort out their own incompetence when trying to deflect a genuine poor experience and honest criticism of a bad customer service experience.

My father has just had a visit from Tim from the head office, he carried out a survey for facia board, soffit board and down pipes.
I didn't see him myself but I guess he had a black an white striped shirt an mask on as the quoted works are absolute daylight robbery!

Order has been cancelled straight away and will be cancelling any payments taken from the bank.

The previous work you did at my house.... Mr Tierney being my Father.

Was simply replacing glass panels, that didn't need replacing.

My father was under the impression that it would be complete windows including frames..
It wasn't, one of the frames is near enough dropping out yet somehow, this was missed by whoever did the initial survey.
The work was completed quickly and was tidy because they only popped out the window beading and put new glass in.

This isn't your only bad review in the last 6 month. Maybe its time you reviewed your pricing..

Nearly £6000 for a £2000 job you're having a laugh!

Salesman refused to leave until we paid a £1700 deposit, and would not allow us to read any of the documents we were pressured into signing.
Emailed and wrote two letters to cancel the next day, well within the 14 day cooling off period required by law.
Noted that the contract does not have their current address, had to look it up on Companies House.
Received ten calls the following business day trying to push us into withdrawing the cancellation.
Later discovered that the price was well over double what it should have been.

Eventually had a call where they accepted the cancellation, but they said they would not refund anything for 28 days and that they would not follow the law and refund in full.
Was promised a management callback to "clarify", never received one.

It appears that my only option is to pursue them via the county court, so I have sent a "letter before claim" in the hope that they will resolve the matter rapidly.
I find Eco Haus' reply below surprising, as it makes one wonder how many current actions are pending.

I had some windows replaced and the workmanship was excellent. The speed and efficiency of the fitters was exceptional. They tidied up after themselves and took the old glass panels away. The company itself is very pushy when it comes to getting other work done which is the only aspect I didn't like.

Well organised company. Good service from initial contact to final fitting and post fitting inspection.
Good information provided at every stage.
A friendly and efficient company and competitive.
