I am deeply sorry for sending you the wrong size, for the weeks of circular communication that's gone nowhere, for responses that haven't addressed your proof, and for the lack of genuine human engagement when you needed real help. You deserved straightforward action from the start.

When the items arrived, the outer fabric appeared to be polyester rather than the advertised bamboo. On top of that, they were shipped straight from China, even though the company’s website claimed they dispatch products from a Sydney warehouse.

I attempted to resolve the matter directly:

I contacted the company multiple times via email and phone to request a return under their advertised ‘90‑day return policy’.

After repeated attempts, I eventually received a return address. However, when I arranged the return through Australia Post, I was informed that the supplied address was invalid.

This has caused unnecessary cost, inconvenience, and delay. I believe this company has engaged in misleading advertising regarding both product description and business location, and is obstructing the return process covered under their own policy.

I have contacted Fair Trading to investigate the business for potential breaches under the Australian Consumer Law, and assist in ensuring a full refund is provided.

TOTAL SCAM!!!!

Further to Ecotoppers second reply to my second review, I contacted them as requested where they stated they would send new toppers to me immediately. I said I did not want new toppers as have purchased two from Myer, however I did want return for a full refund as they state on the website. And again - NO reply. Do not use!!!!

I purchased 2 “bamboo 5cm mattress…

I purchased 2 “bamboo 5cm mattress toppers”. What arrived was nothing like the images in the Eccotoppers marketing material.
I have emailed them 3 times from late February 2026 without a response.
Wish I had of read the Trustpilot reviews before making a purchase!
Avoid This business.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I bought a number of products from Eco Toppers. Wish I’d read the reviews first. The mattress topper was poor quality, definitely not the plush bamboo topper advertised. The high quality bamboo sheets I ordered arrived from Linenova - a brand which distributes low cost bamboo sheets available on many other platforms for less than half the price of Eco Toppers. When I asked eco toppers to clarify and rectify my concern I was ignored. Do yourself a favour, buy from a different supplier.

Hi there,

I’ve received the item and it appears to be 5cm, not the 10cm advertised. I only realised this after placing it on the bed. It has also flattened almost immediately, which is extremely disappointing.

The product description claims it will give the mattress a “new feel”, but this has not been the case.

Given the incorrect sizing and poor performance, I’m requesting a refund.

I regret buying from this Ecotoppers I realised it is a scam

I have submitted a complaint with NSW Fair Trading and also with Paypal.

Please issue my full refund soon. You have sent a useless used topper wrong size and other product has not been sent at all. Also it was sent late.
I do not feel like returning your used product and waste my time.

I paid express shipping for a mattress…

I paid express shipping for a mattress topper order, it took 2 weeks to receive my order. I emailed to follow up and where my order was? I did receive a quick and genuine response informing me they would check abc get back to me,
I never received another response until I once again reached out, I then did receive an email telling me it was at post office ready to collect.
I would rate the cutover service as quite poor and don’t expect a quick delivery,
Probably will not purchase from there again

Big BIG scam

Big BIG scam, turned up within 10 days, is meant to be plush 10cm thick bamboo topper but is maybe 1/2cm thick, made very cheap, stitching is all over the place, not one bit of bamboo material used what so ever, if your like me and buy Willy nilly and look at proper reviews after buying, contact your bank they will give your money back the company can’t be contacted, iv been paid back already thanks to my bank and I’ll use the topper for a dog mat, they also have several other on line companies like Adorearth exactly the same pic, reviews everything, be careful, read reviews from other sources and not on there website as they make fake reviews

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague! Product claims are completely misleading as no mention is made anywhere about polyester. They infer bamboo throughout which is simply not true. In written communication to me they confirmed this fact. Terrible almost nonexistant communication. Phone is never answered and support email is not supported as it does not exist. 3-5 business days delivery is simply untrue as is the claim of a Sydney based warehouse. I cancelled my order the day after ordering yet on day 3 they claimed it had already been despatched. I received it over 2 weeks later. They emailed me with profuse apologies asking me to send it back at MY cost. This is illegal as merchants pay for refund returns when product does not meet expectations. It would have cost me $55!! Aust Post scanned the label and it came from China with no Aust Post involvement yet they display Aust Post logo to once again infer rather than state the truth. Consumer Affairs Vic., ACCC/Scamwatch are investigating them. I even offered to return goods to the "Sydney Warehouse". Then absolute silence and no refund.
Avoid the false product claims, bad communication and hiding.
Just don't buy from Eco Toppers. They are a nightmare!

I ordered my topper over 20 days ago and have still not received it. It has sat in WA “in our care” for a week now and still being told I will receive it soon.

The service was prompt and on time and…

The service was prompt and on time and the product is as described. I didn’t want anything too thick as ihave a bad back and need a firm mattress. I also have bad hips which felt bruised by the firm mattress so this has given me a little bit of softness for my hips as I’m a side sleeper but has kept the firmness I need from my mattress for my back. For me, it’s exactly what I was looking for.
