We felt very comfortable that our daughter was safe while experiencing exciting things on her trip to Europe. The tour guide was friendly, kind and knowledgeable.

The event was well- organized and the access to information was very good.

There needs to be more balance between archaeological sites and free time. Most free time was spent in tourist traps or road side gas stations in not very nice areas. It would have been nice to explore some of the nice little towns we passed through. there was no time for beaches. The island tour is way too jam packed. One island (hydra) with more time to enjoy it would make WAY more sense than traveling three and only getting 30 min to 1.5 hours at each island. I found the planning of this trip was not well thought out.

We had an exceptional experience in Costa Rica! Our EF tour guide was so great, full of enthusiasm and pride for his country which made our journey that much better! We learned so much about the beautiful culture and history of Costa Rica through him. We were fortunate to have great weather the whole time we were there. The activities that were planned through EF were a perfect blend of adventure and learning, my 15-year-old son loved it all! Our tour guide and driver were also flexible if we needed to make a stop at an ATM or pharmacy and were willing to alter some plans to make sure the group got the most out of our time there. 10/10 would recommend this tour again and again!

Lack of coordination with communication. Last minute changes within 24 hrs of travel caused unnecessary anxiety. Overall more stress than was necessary. Once travel started, tour guide was lovely. Teachers from our school were excellent. The bus for travel was nice with charging ports. Hotels felt safe and clean. Overall, undue Stress in beginning was the biggest challenge.

Everything was amazing except EF tours didn’t book enough room for our group. The mix up caused our first night at the hotel for our group to be much later than expected. Our tour guide did his best but it still resulted in someone sleeping on a cot. The group traveling with us the had more rooms than they needed, sleeping 2-3/room. Our group had 4 per room. That was the only disappointment because we paid nearly $4000 for 4 nights and 5 days touring each.

Our son had a fantastic trip. The tour guide planned special events that helped them learn and experience so much more than expected. EF also was very efficient in helping to reschedule cancelled flights for their return home. Thank you!

Had a great experience.

This is my third time leading a tour with EF and I am once again extremely satisfied with our trip. Our hotels were very good (B&B Hotels are particularly great) and the local restaurants, I thought, were good with a mix of local flavours and teenager friendly options.

For this particular itinerary, I felt as though things were a bit too rushed in Madrid. We never had much free time and we spent a long time on the bus between driving around the city and transfers to and from the hotel. Lisbon and Seville definitely went down as the highlights of this trip.

EF planned an amazing trip for our group. There was the perfect balance of touring and free time our tour guide, Izabela, was absolutely incredible, flexible, personable, and accommodating. When our airlines cancelled our flight flights, EF was amazingly supportive and solution focused. They did everything in their control to make our extended stay feel relaxed, entertained, financially supported, and smooth. I highly recommend other groups using EF as their tour company.

Everything from start to finish was clear, simple, and wonderful! Payments, adding additional money, insurance, itinerary, guides, hotels, all great!

This was the trip of a lifetime for our son! 100% recommend!

The website was fantastic to guide everything that needed to be done leading up to the trip in a clear and easy to navigate manner! The process, spread over time and chunked was manageable and not stressful at all. The email reminders were also helpful.
Our guide, Selios, was PHENOMENAL, knowledgeable, friendly, and he went above and beyond every day of the tour. He related to adults and students alike, he made the information interesting and the pride he took in sharing his home country with us was clearly evident. He had obvious rapport with the 'local guides' which were also AMAZNG. When we got news of our flight home being cancelled, EF was there in the background to reassure and help - and everything was back on track within a couple of hours and went smoothly in the end, with a flight for everyone back on schedule from Frankfurt to Calgary. I would ABSOLUTELY travel with EF tours again in the future, and recommend them wholeheartedly to other education institutions.

The experience was great as we were able to visit many of the places in France. It would have been better to just travel with our own full group so we could have tailored the time and tours more. We did have an amazing time!

What made my experience great in Greece was our EF guide Ralu. She was awesome. She was very informative, kind and great company. All the local guides we had were also great. They knew their history and were great to keep our attention. The hotels, food and all the experiences were fantastic, makes you want to go back.
