Electrolux refrigerator, branded as Frigidaire, cost $2300, had a leaky evaporator after 2 yrs. Door magnet so strong that to open the door you have to hold the fridge or it will slide out. TERRIBLE P.O.S. Could also be branded Kenmore, so be careful!

I honestly expected far better from a brand like AEG, but my experience has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish.
I contacted AEG about an issue with my tumble dryer and explained from the outset that I couldn’t provide proof of purchase because my house had recently flooded, destroying many documents including receipts. The agent I spoke to placed me on hold, then came back and said, “That’s fine, no worries.”
Not only was that assurance later completely disregarded, but AEG also sent me the wrong part, caused weeks of delay, and then changed their story entirely.
After I complained, a manager named Jana apologised and said that, as a goodwill gesture, they would send an engineer free of charge, since small rubber seals usually aren’t covered. The engineer came out, confirmed the issue, and said the part would arrive in five days.
Weeks passed — nothing. I had to keep chasing, only to be told that the part was out of stock and wouldn’t be available until early November. Then, after all that, AEG suddenly went back on their word and demanded proof of purchase again — the very thing they had already agreed wasn’t required because of the flood.
At this point, I’ve been without a working tumble dryer for several weeks, repeatedly misled, and left feeling completely dismissed and disrespected.
What’s worse, AEG allows customers to register products for warranty without uploading proof of purchase, but then refuses to help when you actually need support. That’s completely misleading and unfair.
I now have two registered AEG products that appear to be useless under warranty because of this policy. Their process is broken, inconsistent, and handled with zero accountability or compassion.
Unless AEG honours the agreement already made, I will be escalating this matter to Trading Standards for investigation into their unfair practices — and if it remains unresolved, I will take the matter further through the Small Claims Court.
Extremely disappointed. I’ll never buy from AEG again.

Brevemente spiego perché questo giudizio. Acquisto il frigorifero a seguito di restyling della cucina e poco dopo un mese circa dalla consegna mi accorgo che una delle due maniglie, quella del surgelatore, presenta un difetto, si è rovinata la cromatura. Invio due foto, la prima con la maniglia danneggiata e la seconda dove inquadro entrambe le maniglie e faccio notare che solo una delle due è rovinata. La risposta dell'assistenza è stata che avrei utilizzato dei prodotti aggressivi per la pulizia. Se fosse così, visto che le maniglie vengono pulite entrambe, sarebbero rovinate ambedue. Questo dalla Electrolux, per una maniglia, ad un mese circa dall'acquisto. Non arrabbiato ma deluso.

Jag vill framföra ett klagomål gällande Electrolux tvättmaskiner och torktumlare som används i vår fastighets tvättstuga.
Maskinerna håller mycket låg standard. Torktumlarna torkar extremt långsamt, vilket gör att man ofta måste köra flera omgångar för att få kläderna torra. Detta innebär både slöseri med tid och onödig energiförbrukning.
De nya tvättmaskinerna har dessutom ett dåligt system som varken är effektivt eller användarvänligt. De äldre maskinerna fungerade betydligt bättre och gav ett mycket bättre resultat.
För ett företag som Electrolux, med ett så välkänt namn, förväntar man sig produkter av högre kvalitet. Tyvärr upplever jag att dessa maskiner inte motsvarar vare sig förväntningar eller prisniv
Customer Service Non-Existent
This company is that bad that I wish I could give no stars. If it's a warranty then you have no choice, but if not, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! It took 3 weeks before a Technician could come out and look at my gas oven, only to be told that a part needs to be ordered and he'll be back in a week. A week later I get a text that the Technician was booked in for another 2 weeks time, only to get another text a week later to say that it had been cancelled due to the part being on back-order. They did supply me with a link in the text, which, against my better judgement, clicked to find that they had an appointment for another 2 weeks. Took another day off work and waited but noone came. Clicked on the link again only to find another appointment time in 2 weeks. I rang them only to be told that the 2nd cancelled appointment time was a 'dummy date' and was given a 'definite appointment' time. in another 2 weeks. The customer care assistant also sent me a text confirming this date. Well, that was yesterday and once again the Technician was a 'no-show' and no communication at all from this company.
I made a complaint to their customer care team only to be given ANOTHER (up to my 4th appointment now) appointment time in another 2 weeks. I infuriatingly declined.
It has now been 9 weeks without an oven, 4 appointments with only one being advised of cancellation and another 2 a 'no-show' without any communication. I have taken 3 days off work with them expecting me to take another day off in 2 weeks time.
I've waited prior to posting this review in the hope that they would be willing to mediate but unfortunately no-one has reached out. Why am I not surprised?

Absolutely abysmal customer support
Absolutely abysmal customer support. I bought a set of front load washer/dryer 2 years ago. The washer started to bang violently when spinning and actually would shake terribly. I called for service and the tech said it was a factory defect that the cement balance things were cracked and now crumbling. They cannot be replaced, I have to get a new washer.
I called customer service at Electrolux and they basically said,”too bad, so sad” because I did not have the extended warranty.
Seriously? It’s a factory defect! So now I have to spend $1500 to replace this junk box.

Jag beställde jobbet, sedan kom tekniker som konstaterat att man kan byta lampor själv och var snäll och lämnade en i reserve, det tog honom mindre än 5min. Sedan kom faktura på 2,290kr. Jag ringde och frågat vad kostade så mycket, jag fick svar att det är ett fast pris oavsett vad. Jag frågade om de ku de göra en plan så att jag hälfen 1200kr, och resten på kommande månad, jag ett nej och hot are mig med att betala så snart som möjligt. PGA deras dåligt bemötande, har jag bestämt mig att aldrig någonsin ska jag köpa deras produkter! Det är inte konstigt att de stänger butiker här och där. Dåligt Service. Robert

My Electrolux integral dishwasher has lasted a grand total of 2 years 9 months!!! I'm a single person away a lot so not a good product at all! I've had dishwashers for years and have never had a problem with one before. Electrolux will definitely not be chosen by me - very poor
Electrolux Heat Pump Dryer - A Product & Company That Fails Its Customers
I strongly advise against purchasing an Electrolux heat pump dryer. My experience has been extremely disappointing and highlights serious concerns about both the quality of the product and the way Electrolux treats its customers.
Our dryer, despite being carefully maintained and kept in pristine condition, failed after only a few years. Electrolux’s technician declared it “uneconomic to repair,” effectively meaning that a machine which should have lasted well over a decade is now destined for landfill. This is not only unacceptable from a consumer perspective, but it also raises real questions about the durability and environmental responsibility of the brand.
Under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act businesses are legally obligated to provide goods that are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and free from substantial faults. The ongoing issues with this product, combined with the widespread consumer complaints about similar faults, clearly show that this dryer does not meet the required standards. Electrolux’s suggestion that I pay for an “upgrade” instead of repairing or replacing the faulty machine is not only dismissive but also contrary to their obligations under the law.
To make matters worse, despite repeated emails, Electrolux has failed to provide any meaningful resolution. The lack of accountability and disregard for customers is concerning and reflects a company that prioritises sales over service.
Before buying one of these dryers, consumers and potential purchasers should research online reviews. You will find consistent reports of similar problems, poor customer care, and short product lifespans. These heat pump dryers are substandard, low-quality, not fit for purpose and cant be repaired.
Do not buy an Electrolux heat pump dryer, you will likely regret it!

Would buy Elecrolux again. Bought a top of the line oven and fudge and had issues with both. The supplier support is pretty ppor. Had to wait 4 weeks for a part that was in stock in Australia as they would fast ship it. Then provided a refund for something and it took weeks and weeks and lots of emails to get processed. Buy a brand with better support.
Warranty
On 5/09/2025, my warranted Electrolux wine cooler was declared irreparable. The Electrolux Technician said someone will be in touch within 3-4 working days to arrange replacement. After 4 months and 10 phone calls with the CSR, nothing has happened. Avoid buying from them because they fail to honor their warranties.
Apalling customer care, dryer not fit for purpose
We purchased a condenser dryer which has failed after only 3 years of use but is out of warranty. I spent $850 for a technician who tried to fix it (twice) but Electrolux has now advised it's not repairable. I have put in a formal complaint to Electolux New Zealand customer care, and after two weeks of emails it's now been escalated to the Australian customer care "specialist", who has no record of all my correspondence and their repsonse is "it's out of warranty." No kidding. Dreadful customer service, no resolution and a machine that was not fit for purpose is now landfill.
Non existent warranty
Products fail before the warranty expires. It takes weeks to hear back from customer representatives and Electrolux does not respect the warranty.

I bought gas range which didn't come with the conversion kit. I was told by dealership Home Depot that I would need to order it separately. I placed the order with Frigidaire (all this in Canada) and they said I would receive the order between 7 to 10 days. 10 days passed and I called and they promised 5 more days. Meanwhile at my house I have no way to cook a meal for my family. I bought the stove to use not to look at. Very poor service all around. I will make it my life purpose to discredit this company any way I can on social media. I'm very frustrated and dismayed by everything about this company now. Completely and utterly fed up.
These are not Premium Products
In the last 3 years I have had my frontload washer and dryer repaired 5 times. I paid for a premium product and got junk! When I called Electrolux to see if they would stand behind their product I was told it is outside the 1-year warranty and there is nothing they can do! My Samsungs had less issues in the first 5 years, and they were 1/2 the cost! DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!!

Can't even reach support on their number after trying many times. They never pick up and if you select the option for a call back, it never happens. Horrible horrible customers service. Don't buy an Electrolux or Frigidaire if you value getting after sale support. There's no-one there, just an automated phone system that dead ends.

We have a broken washing machine from Electrolux that is under warranty. They requested that we pay for the technician to troubleshoot the washing machine and we did in April and to date nothing has occurred although we’ve been promised the parts will be shipped and technician would come and fix the issue, promises that were never kept. We have made multiple phone calls spoken to multiple representatives and none of them know what they’re talking about they all give us a different story and they wind up hanging up on you so they don’t have to deal with it. Specially, when you ask for a supervisor or a manager. I would strongly suggest avoiding this company at any cost as their service is horrendous. Their communication skills are nonexistent and they really don’t care about satisfying their clients.
