Stay away from elite moving partners

The worst experience ever, bait and switch, they will say something and do something else.
If you disagree or post a negative review they will block you and post your personal information online. Low integrity, garbage and unreliable business. I recommend not to use.

Couldn’t have asked for a worse experience

Terrible experience with Elite Moving partners. I wish I could leave negative stars. I have never written a review in my life, but I feel the need to warn other people who try to use this service. Moving is always stressful, but I didn’t know it could be this hard. This is the most difficult, unprofessional, and overpriced moving experience I’ve ever dealt with. It is a complete rip off. They aren’t even a real moving company; they are a broker company that partners with movers which they failed to tell me when I was getting a quote over the phone. When I initially called Elite over the phone and told them what I had to move, they gave me an estimate based on that. If anything, I expected to pay less than the estimate because I was getting rid of some stuff and had less to move than what I told them on the phone, but I ended up paying double the estimate including an additional fee that was supposed to guarantee that my stuff would be there by a certain day. The guy who picked up my stuff was slow and unprofessional and tried to overcharge me because he didn’t understand how to calculate the rate. Also, it was really difficult trying to pay him because his Venmo wouldn’t work and Cashapp wouldn’t let me pay him. I ended up having to Venmo one of his friends to accept the money for him which felt really sketchy. Then, a week later he called me trying to get more money, and I had to spend over an hour on the phone with him and someone at Elite just to clear things up and avoid paying extra fees that I wasn’t supposed to be paying. Then, when I called the delivery guy the day before my scheduled delivery (like he told me to do to get an ETA), he told me that he was in Texas right now but had to go to New Mexico all of a sudden for no given reason. Then he told me that his truck broke down and my stuff was going to be late. He kept telling my stuff would be there in a couple days every day for a week straight, and it still didn’t arrive. My stuff was delivered more than a week late, and it was like pulling teeth trying to get the delivery guy to give me an update/estimate on when he would get here. I had to call Elite every single day to get an estimate on when my stuff would arrive, and most of the time they had no answers for me. They were extremely difficult to get a hold of over the phone. Most times, I had to call more than once to get through to someone, and when I did get a hold of anyone majority of the people I spoke to were rude, not helpful, or didn’t seem to care. Nicki was helpful and very understanding, but the company in general was not. I began to worry about whether or not my stuff was even coming and wondering if I was going to have to replace everything. The delivery guy finally showed up, and when he did I had another issue with figuring out how to pay him. He had been blocked from receiving Venmo and Cashapp payments. He refused to take a personal check, and he wouldn’t accept PayPal for “personal reasons.” We had to spend a lot of time on the phone again with someone at Elite to clear up the issue and throughout the whole conversation the delivery guy was trying to get them to charge me extra money for things he shouldn’t have been charging me for. They did give me a partial refund for the expedited fee, but I do not feel that the small refund they gave me makes up for the rip off that this moving company is especially since the refund they gave me was less than a fourth of the price it costed me in total to move. You couldn’t pay me to use Elite moving partners again, especially when there are several other more professional and reliable companies who charge way less than them. BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

MOVERS BEWARE!!!!

MOVERS BEWARE!!!!! I wish I could leave 0 stars.

I am in process of a cross-country move with Elite Moving Partners and feel compelled to write this review. I may have written 3 reviews in my time, always to share praise, but I am writing this to hopefully save someone the stress and anxiety I've been undergoing for the past 2 weeks.

Ever since I paid my deposit for pickup, it has been a horrible experience!

I initially spoke with Christian ("Moving specialist") who among other companies I reached out to for quotes, was super fast to respond. We went over my 1bdrm apartment inventory (approx 796 Sq feet apartment) and he quoted me with a competitive price. He also said that due to a sudden cancellation on the truck, I would receive a "discounted price," if I booked that day. He also told me that my move from CA to NJ shouldn't be more than 11 days after pickup - So I decided to move out of my Apartment 8 days early to give them a head start to NJ. Christian said to ignore the contract sent stating that it could take, 5-30 days and that the average is no more than 11 days. He stated that they have to create a larger window in case of bad weather - Fine. That seemed fair to me.
What a fool I was to believe this!

I paid approx $1500 for initial deposit. When it came time for pickup, Elite Moving Company failed to tell me that they actually outsource a different company to do the actual moving/travel. They also have NO control over when this company decides to finally move your stuff. Christian also told me I could continue to pay with my credit card - LUCKILY I happened to call their Customer service number the day before and, Robin ("specialist") informed me that I would need to pay them with a cashier's check. Upon pickup morning, one of the movers looked around my apartment and instantly said I'd have to pay at least $600 more than my second payment installment quote ($1242) because they'll need to wrap my furniture pieces in blankets... I have moved several times in my life and NEVER has a moving company charged me extra to temporarily wrap my wooden furniture pieces in the used blankets they generally bring. Also, when I spoke to Christian, he told me that blankets, tape are covered in the overall cost of the move. However, since i was moving out that day, I didn't have much choice - I told the Mover that I would accept but will need to speak with Elite Moving regarding my final bill since this is NOT what we agreed on.

It has now been 2 weeks since my stuff was picked up and it's STILL sitting in a warehouse somewhere in CA. I was also quoted to pay an additional $2788 - For what??! I requested a breakdown of my bill from Robin and Jordyn several times for the past 2 weeks and of course - NO UPDATE. - Both of them are completely useless and unprofessional. I tried to call Christian back to discuss our initial conversation but he's conveniently unresponsive. Now when I call, they've transferred me to a nice woman, Nicki - However, she doesn't seem to have any further information for me thus far. I've now paid over $3K for a very small move ( I didn't even pack my bed!) and I couldn't be more upset about my experience. I continue to call them every few days for an update because nobody follows up! I am chasing down an ETA to understand at least when my furniture will be ON THE ROAD. I was told 4 days ago that they're "loading the truck" and when I called back today for an update, of course my things are still sitting in CA.

I also want to share that my Mom who lived in the same complex as me in CA, hired a different company to move her to FL (Great Wall Moving Co.- Highly recommend!!) She moved a week after me, had a move 3 times the size, and her things were delivered in 3 DAYS! She also received her car a day later from CA. Here I am, like an idiot, still awaiting an update on 1. When my things will finally be in route 2. WHY I am now being quoted a new price almost 2k more than my initial $4k quote. No answers.

Moving is so stressful and Elite Moving Partners should be ashamed of themselves! Horrible

The guys over at Elite were great

The guys over at Elite were great. I have heard so many horror stories with moving companies. They gave me a great quote at a reasonable price and they stuck to it. The movers were clean, and safe with my stuff. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them in the future.
