I want to warn other business customers…
I want to warn business customers about my experience with this company. I reported a serious security issue in their loyalty system with huge potential to be exploited. Unfortunately, my warning was completely ignored. Instead of taking the report seriously and investigating the problem further, the company showed no interest in addressing a vulnerability that could affect their customers, they have never responded while being contacted on a few channels. For a business that handles customer accounts and loyalty data, where customer offers discounts/products for free, this lack of responsibility is very concerning.

I ordered from Embargo app yesterday and the order came incorrect. I called the shop I ordered from and they said ‘sorry, we have left the food here at the shop you can get a refund from embargo. I try speak to embargo and a agent ‘Monika’ emails and says they can’t refund until Sam’s chicken authorise, I then called Sam’s chicken and they said it is authorised, Monika says they haven’t heard back yet.
I am now waiting another 24 hours and Monika is not replying to my emails. Rubbish app rubbish company. Stick to uber eats and the normal ones, I will be.

Better off sticking to Uber eats and just eat I ordered delivery they delivered to the wrong house and the app kept crashing when I was trying to get through to customer service. This is outrageous I’m never ordering off this app again! What a waste of money!

Embargo is amazing and incredibly helpful for marketing.
Embargo has been incredibly helpful from a marketing point of view. I’ve used it with a client and it’s made a real difference in how we engage and retain customers. The ability to offer unique, reward-based experiences has led to a noticeable increase in repeat visits and loyalty.

Solid Loyalty App
I dont usually write reviews, however out of all the loyalty apps i have used this has to be the best one. I have been using embargo for over 2 years and its been the most reliable loyalty app out there. Never had any issues and i am always able to claim my rewards at my favourite coffee shop.

Easy to use, set up and track
We recently started using Embargo in our coffee shops (Mouse Tail Coffee) and it’s been a game changer for us. Easy to set up, user experience is simple and back of house is well thought out / logical.
We now have genuine insight into customer habits, we are able to engage with them and reward them with ease.

I prefer physical loyalty cards!
I would love the cafes and restaurants I'm a loyal customer of to go back to physical loyalty cards...The app is often glitching or takes too long to load, it's incredibly frustrating. I'm loosing my loyalty stamps because of it.

Easy to collect stamps but a bit confusing to redeem
Love the simplicity of collecting the stamps. Very smooth. But the experience when redeeming the free items is very clunky. The first few times I was very confused

Great idea but very buggy app that ends up ripping you off
There’s a bug in the way the stamps are collected. If you fill a card but don’t claim the free coffee, and continue to collect stamps on a new card then the old one becomes unusable. I’ve filled 3 loyalty cards and haven’t been able to spend 2 of them because of this problem.
Also tried to report this issue in the app but the feedback section is broken. Only place to flag it is here sadly.

Best app! I preorder my breakfast and coffee and earn loyalty stamps - it makes life so much easier and I can’t wait to get my next reward. Specialty coffee is what I live for!

Works well, I use it at two of my local cafes and a deli. I think there are lots of local places here so I’m excited for when my burger place joins. Can never say no to a free burger!
