Just wrapped up a great trip to Dubai. Flew with Emirates and the experience was excellent—as usual. Business class on the A380 is a treat.

Stayed at Anantara The Palm, which was outstanding. Beautiful resort, incredible lagoon pools, spacious rooms, and fantastic staff. The atmosphere is relaxed but still very high-end.

Emirates vacations made everything so easy and the flights and hotel both delivered. Highly recommend.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting this complaint regarding Emirates Vacations/Emirates Airlines in the hope of receiving assistance with a refund for my upcoming trip. My sister and I are scheduled to travel to Turkey on April 1st, with a transfer in Dubai, under booking number 22680683.

We were very much looking forward to this trip during our educators’ break. However, the recent escalation of violence, bombings, and instability in the region has created significant safety concerns. Several incidents have occurred near airports and major transit points, and the situation remains unpredictable. As a result, this has caused considerable anxiety and distress, directly affecting my mental health. I can provide documentation from my healthcare provider confirming the impact of these circumstances on my well‑being.

Due to these extraordinary and unforeseen events, I contacted Emirates to request a cancellation and refund. I fully understand that our travel date is less than 29 days away and typically falls outside their standard refund window. However, the recent escalation of violence and the associated risks were not foreseeable at the time of booking. Despite explaining the situation and offering medical documentation, Emirates has declined to provide a refund or make an exception.

I have been a loyal customer and have always appreciated Emirates' service, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Given the exceptional circumstances, the safety concerns, and the documented impact on my health, I believe a courtesy exception is both reasonable and justified.

I am requesting assistance in obtaining a refund for this trip, as we are unable to travel safely under current conditions.

I am one happy customer with the Emirates Vacation Package that I booked online. Overall satisfaction with the flight experience for first time flyer using Emirates Airlines and the arrangements made to booked the Hotel we stayed. The only thing that put a little inconvenience was during our flight back to US from Dubai. The long que to checked in was just too much for seniors like me and my husband. Will be a good idea to give senior travelers separate que or priority check in.

Excellent vacation package 1/23-1/29/26 on Emirates Airlines and a 5* accommodation from Atlantis The Palm- they provided us a fabulous ocean view room and daily breakfast buffet of delicious varieties of international cuisine. I highly recommend emirates vacation, all travel agents were very accommodating, helpful and courteous!

My experience with Emirates Airline was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I boarded, the professionalism was evident—staff were courteous, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. I had a lifelong dream of staying in an exotic local in an over the water villa. I also wanted to fly in style so I looked into an Emirates Vacation. The total experience was beyond my expectations. From the moment we were picked up to the time we were dropped off, it was a first class trip. The airline was outstanding as was the resort. Every employee at the Residence Maldives was kind and helpful. The food was expectional and our room was beautiful. I cannot say enough about my trip

We booked about 9 months in advance and the process was flawless. We got what we requested and the flight and accommodations were great. The process was very easy and when we had questions we had a designated rep who answered all of them. I am glad they are setup that way and will be using them again for international travel.

My husband and I booked a vacation to Dubai for 8 nights. Hotel and air from JFK. It was very easy to book and make payments on the website. When I needed to make changes customer service was very helpful. It was a great vacation and will definitely book again on the site.

Excellent experience again with Emirates Vacations. We booked a trip last year through the website and same excellent experience. We received all proper documentation on time, reminders notices when needed, etc. All side bookings (like private transport, guides, etc...) were there, on time and waiting for us.

The only two small issues that we have encountered both times are: processing payment online and seats selection.

Online payment: both time we booked (not sure if it is related to the full amount), we weren't able to complete payment online. But, after sending an email to customer service, we were called back within 24 hours to complete the transaction at the convenient time for us. Customer service was excellent and revised the full booking with us by phone.

Seats selection: this might be the same on different airlines (I just don't remember) but both times we flew Business Class and only when the full payment is done to Emirates Vacations that the airline Emirates gives you the opportunity to choose your seats via their mobile app or the website. I would like that seat selection could be available at booking (at least for Business Class) even with just a deposit as when you fly with your significant other or children, you want to make sure you are all together. Obviously this is less of an issue when you book 60 days before your trip as you have to pay in full your trip right away. But when you book a trip 6-9 months in advance, it would be great to have the opportunity to select the seats to prevent the possibility that the family will not be together.

Worst seats worst hotel and wrong description of hotel Swissotel al murooj is described as 5 star ⭐️ hotel this is not even 2 star ⭐️ very old and outdated AC doesn’t even work.

And then Maldives ❤️ We saw an Emirates commercial on TV and we’re very intrigued …I browsed on the internet to check out Emirates Holidays
I decided on Raffles on the palm in Dubia and Lux southern atoll Beach Villa …I found a toll free number and contacted a representative from Emirates Vacations we had a brief conversation and in 10 mins all booked
Omg very efficient…hotel transfers including Float plane and greetings at every point

Everything from our accommodations to transfers ran smoothly and our bungalow in Maldives was Fabulous!! The trip was expertly planned down to the smallest details, making our trip exceptionally fun and stress free!

My first time using Emirates Holiday and It was a great experience! I love how you can put a small amount down for a deposit and pay as you go. That’s a great way to lock in plans! The airline staff were all professional and really nice and accommodating. They make sure you’re comfortable on your aircraft.

We had fantastic time with our Dubai vacation. Fact that we were able to get a good deal for our package with Emirate Vacation was fantastic. We like the payment plan that makes it easier for us to book the package. The flight and hotel experience was great. We are spreading the word about Emirate Vacation to our family and friends. Booking with Emirates Holidays has been one of the most frustrating travel experiences I’ve had. Their lack of accountability, refusal to issue a reasonable refund, and outright dishonesty show that they do not care about customer service once they have your money.

1️⃣ Unusable Half-Board Meal Plan – Refund Denied for No Reason

I paid for a meal plan at Fairmont Makkah but was unable to use a single meal due to the hotel’s check-in policies and restaurant hours. When I requested a refund the next day, I was told I couldn’t get one simply because I booked through Emirates Holidays. Meanwhile, my brother-in-law, who booked directly with the hotel, was refunded immediately with no issue.

Instead of taking responsibility, Emirates Holidays rep Saeed made false claims that my brother-in-law booked through a "different tour operator" (which is not true) rather than admitting that they simply refused to issue a refund. They completely ignored my last email when I pointed this out.

They also blamed me for not calling their "24/7 emergency line" to check restaurant hours. A meal plan should be straightforward and accessible, not something I need to "investigate" before using. Instead of admitting they could have refunded me just like the hotel did for my brother-in-law, they ignored my last email completely.

2️⃣ Lied About My Transfer Time & Blamed Me

I originally had an 8:45 AM transfer but requested it be changed to 8:00 AM more than one day in advance. Emirates Holidays gave me attitude because it wasn’t a full 48-hour notice, but they reluctantly agreed to move it to 8:00 AM “just this once.”

On the day of the transfer, the driver arrived at 8:55 AM—55 minutes after my requested time. While waiting, I contacted Emirates Holidays via WhatsApp, and instead of admitting to the delay, they lied and said I had actually changed the time to 8:30 AM.
Thankfully, I have screenshots from Emirates Holidays and the transportation company confirming the 8:00 AM time. This was an outright attempt to gaslight me into thinking the delay was my fault when in reality, they were just disorganized and unprofessional.

3️⃣ Terrible Customer Service – Avoid Booking Through Them

Between the denied refund, misinformation, and dishonesty, it’s clear that Emirates Holidays is only interested in taking customers' money—not providing any real service.

💬 Final Verdict? If you book through Emirates Holidays, be prepared to:
❌ Lose money on services you can’t use.
❌ Be lied to when they make a mistake.
❌ Get ignored when you ask for accountability.
Would I ever book with Emirates Holidays again? Absolutely not.

Our trip to Maldives and Dubai was flawless. The accommodations through Emirates fantastic!

Our trip to Dubai was a flawless magical trip from start to finish! We booked our holiday online which Emirates Vacations was easy to use and the prices were much better than other companies I had looked into! We felt the Hotel Anantara Palm Dubai was the best choice for our needs and it completely surpassed them! Beautiful Resort!!! We were greeted at Dubai airport for private transfer to hotel that was so organized and friendly! Dubai is the most incredible City had been on our bucket list and we are so glad we did this trip and chose Emirates Vacations!

I was pleasantly impressed with the service provided by Emirates vacation. The team had worked with me to select a perfect vacation to Thailand. Somehow I didn’t realize I needed to pay off my vacation on a certain date. Thankfully, out of courtesy a team member called me to remind me of the payment date.

Additionally, I loved that the flight and accommodations were included at a reasonable price.

Due to the long flight, I did pay to upgrade my seats, which was pleasant enough for economy class.

I definitely recommend Emirates vacation 100%.
