Be aware when hiring as they will try to charge you even if you paid full coverage, Be aware as their cars are not allowed to commute in central london so choose another company otherwise you will end up paying fines as they dont inform you. The customer service is really bad both on line, email and in the actual offices.when you book online again there are extra charges that they dont inform. I would not choose them unless i dont have another option

To give a balanced view, there are two parts to this story. Firstly, the ground staff were good and the quality of the car was excellent. No problem there. However the story goes ... I booked a car many weeks in advance and got one for €188 for 28 days on Tenerife. Still weeks in advance I e-mailed the company several times to say I would be arriving several hours later than the original 12.00 time notified. No reply to any of the e-mails (although the company have no problem sending me marketing e-mails!). On arrival at 20.00 (eight hours later than planned) I was informed the contract was cancelled and if I wanted the same type of car, another €100 please! So this company behaves like carpet sellers and cannot be trusted.

I recently hired a car with Europacar Italy, The car was great, bit of a cue to pick up and not necessarily easy to pick up. But the real issue was after the rental.
Despite no incidents, and no damage, I have been sent a bill for €206 for supposed damage.
This is a total scam.
They have billed me for a little bit of dirt on the floor. A scuff on the bumper (although this I had nothing to do with it) and a broken windscreen wiper. All of this is completely fictional. I had no incidents and was in protected parking throughout. Upon a search Ive learned this is not a unique problem, but something others mention.

I'll do my best to fight this, but warn others not to use this company.

it was a bad experience for an older person .. he kept asking for a debit card (debit card and visa dankort are the same). in while his colleague takes on ordinary visa dankort.

Europacar Geneve Airport

Man kan ikke stole på dem. Jeg har booket en volvo xc60 i Krakow i polen igennem norwiegan hos europacar og fik en maxda cx-5 som dårlige nok kunne køre i bjergene. Fik også at vide fra europacar medarbejder at de overhoved ikke har volvo i deres bil park iår! Datoen var 01-09-2019 så der er rigeligt tid at skifte det på hjemmesiden.

Awful customer service. We got a flat tire close to Pisa, Italy. They wouldn't let a local car shop change the tire. Told us to leave the car and take a taxi to Pisa airport. While driving there they called and told us to go to Florence airport. When we got there we got a much smaller car and they wouldn't do anything for us and told us to go to Bologna to get a car the same size we payed for. We had to pay for another hotel for the night cause we had payed for a hotel close to Pisa and were far from there. Ofcourse they wouldn't help in Bologna and when we talked to the office that sent us here they didn't see any problem with all this.
Crappy service, will not do business with them again and advice you to keep away from them.

Unhelpful reception on collection.
the car had not been inspected before i arrived so the paperwork was wrong
they want extortionate price for collision damage waiver. for CDW i was quoted £37 going through Kayak , Europacar wanted £147 which is more than 6months premium of my normal insurance policy
I ordered a Nissan Qashqia and got a Skoda octavia and was told it was the same. I would have walked out at that point but i needed a car

lovely car a toyota chr totally rubbish customer service ,hired a car through motabi;lity rsa due to car repair needed on my car had the car for approx 10 days firstly when car was dropped off driver went to go until i pointed some minor damage to nearside bumper (a stone chip and couple of scratches)driver reluctantly wrote on her paperwork but not on my receipt (alarm bells)said was not needed but as my neighbour was standing near car she said for me to note myself and she witnessed it ,did the same on car being collected thankfully i did (this time neighbours husband signed stating good condition . yet guess what 3 weeks later europacar contacts rsa to claim there was damage thank god for witnesses make sure your vehicle condition is checked and witnessed ALL TIMES do not trust car hirers

Har nu fået 2 regninger efter leje af bil i sommer i Nice, på skader som vi ikke har lavet på bilen. Den danske afdeling siger at de ikke kan gøre noget ved det, da det er i Frankring. Men undskyld mig hvorfor har de så i Danmark en afdeling der tager sig af reservationer i udlandet ?

Har lejet bil flere gange hos Europcar uden problemer, og defor valgte vi også denne gang Europcar. Men utrolig dårlig service-oplevelse da vi skulle hente bilen. Og det samme da vi skulle aflevere bilen, da vi gerne ville have papir på afleveringen og om de skader der var på bilen da vi modtog den. det var absolut ikke muligt.
