Avoid. Purchased 7 tickets from them with the "refundable" option, which is $15 per ticket. When I needed to refund one ticket, due to my friend's family emergency (his mother's funeral service), they told me that I needed to provide proof. I asked to clarify if they want me to ask my friend for a certificate of his mother's death, but they ignored me.

Nice and quick service. Received my tickets instantly. Went to the concert, no issues.

I purchase tickets to the Anna Karenina theatrical show for December 20th, which was supposed to start at 7 pm according the tickets and advertising; however, when I came the person announced that the show will start at 8 pm. There were 7-8 customers like myself who did not get any notifications about the re-scheduled show.
Very bad customer service. Would never purchase via them.

I bought mine, picked the seat I like, and was waiting for the event.
At midnight, I got an email saying that they canceled my ticket with no refund.
A few hours later, they made another transaction, providing a new ticket with seating somewhere between the bathroom and a bar, without my consent.
That is how they work, be aware.

Event Cartel is an absolute disaster. My friend and I bought two tickets for the Pivovarov concert in New York but we never received them. I messaged them multiple times before driving 3.5 hours to the event and got ZERO response. After the concert, they suddenly claimed my tickets were “at the box office,” even though they never sent any email, message, or instructions. Their own rep Anna admitted nothing was sent! I’ve sent them dozens of messages — they just ignored me and eventually stopped replying altogether. Then they had the nerve to offer “store credit” for tickets I never even got. This company is a joke and a scam. Stay far, far away.

If you want to ruin your mood and end up missing the event, buy tickets on eventcartel. The tickets were purchased more than two months before the event, and nothing seemed out of place. The event itself was approaching, and two weeks before, when the trip was already planned, I received a refund notification. How is this possible? I can't figure out where our tickets were posted. How can you cancel tickets purchased in advance because they're sold out? But if you check the website, the same tickets are now selling for four times the price. Funny. Thanks for ruining my birthday present!

Absolutely terrible company! Tickets were NOT provided! I sent them multiple messages before the event, as the venue was over 3hr drive, no response! After event ended they responded “ all sales are final” and refused to help. Complete scam! AVOID! I will be disputing payment with my credit card!

They do not return service fee and insurance when consent been canceled. Terrible service. Not recommend

They also added their services to the bill, which were slightly less than 10% of the ticket price. By the way, it is not clear why so much. Plus they added it at the last stage, when I no longer paid attention to the total amount and only saw in the bank statement that I paid even more than I planned. As a result, they are not going to return the money under any circumstances. Returning tickets according to their rules is almost impossible. I wonder if it turns out that the tickets will be cheaper before the concert, then it will be a total nightmare. In general, I do not recommend it to anyone

Amazing customer service — very helpful!
I purchased two tickets to a concert and wanted to buy an additional one later, but there was a restriction in place because it would leave only one neighboring seat open, I was unable to complete the purchase because the system required me to purchase two tickets instead of just one. I messaged customer support, and they promptly replied and lifted the restriction so I could purchase that extra ticket. I found that incredibly helpful — it’s not something you encounter very often!

Great company with great events! Bought tickets through them a few times, and when i needed to return one ticket, even though it was non refundable they've helped me to sell it.
