I can’t recommend Huw Miller at Evo ATPL enough! His one-to-one instruction in GNAV, flight planning, and all the Mass and Balance details absolutely made the difference for me. He was proactive in preparing me before the exams, ensuring I went in confident and ready to pass first time. I achieved great first time pass results thanks to his excellent teaching!

Simply excellent tuition from Huw Millar and evo ATPL. I undertook a number of sessions to assist with the more complicated subjects of the CAA exams. The ability to receive 1-1 tuition, coupled with superb explanations and aide-memoirs, ensured that I went into the exam with 100% confidence. I've spent a couple of months with Huw Millar for ATPL(A) Mass and Balance, General Navigation and Flight Planning. Whether it's in the classroom with 20 students or one on one tuition he's been amazing at breaking down difficult topics, and having a laugh throughout. Thanks Huw!

Just wanted to say how thankful I am for the team at Evo, and in particularly Graeme and Huw, without who I doubt that I would have been able to make it through my exams without the deep core understanding of the material and ultimately the scores I got.

When starting out your journey as an ATPL student it can be very daunting, especially with the amount of topics there are to cover, so it is vital you have highly skilled instructors to help you through. I have experience with Glyn Chadwick(AGK) and Huw Millar (Mass and Balance/Flight planning), both of whom were excellent. Both very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. If anyone has any trouble I would definitely recommend!

Huw was exceptional, I've managed to crack down what I have been struggling with, with his guidance! Huw will make sure you know the work before moving onto the next topic. Would highly recommend!!!

Had 5 sessions with my Tutor Huw , we covered lots from Flight-Planning that i was struggling with aswell as some of the General Navigation Topics ,

I personally found these sessions extremely useful and now have a very strong understanding of the topics i was having difficulty with ,

The lessons are really well structured as well as suiting me perfectly in terms of my availability throughout the week

Huw started off lessons by breaking down the basics and the theory behind it , before going into depth about the more complicated concepts of specific areas

My FP and G-NAV exams are in the next few weeks but feeling very confident and prepared due to the tutoring lessons i had

I was struggling to understand flight planning. I felt overwhelmed and not confident! Then I met Huw from evoatpl, and we really got the concepts right. I passed flight planning today. I highly recommend that anyone struggling with their ATPL exams gets in touch right now – tomorrow is already too late!

What can I say….Huw is absolutely brilliant. I needed some extra help with flight planning, and he explained everything clearly and simply, from the basic fuel policy to extra fuel calculations to MRJT tables. If you’re looking for that extra push or need some additional support, I genuinely can’t recommend him highly enough.

I reached out to EVOATPL after failing my ATPL(A) Mass and Balance exam by 1 point, I ended up getting 74 % .

M&B - is often failed by students since they underestimate the time pressure at the exam which is 1 hour and 15 minutes to finish 25 questions with calculations and graph’s . And there is simply no time to recheck every answer.

I ended up getting 5 questions at the actual exam and passed it 2nd time around without issues since understanding is key.

I still can’t believe I got 100% for M&B, I went to Huw with no clue about that subject.

ATPLs can seem very daunting at first, and having quality tuition is vital in understanding and applying this knowledge.

I had Huw and Glyn for the following subjects: AGK, Instrumentation, Mass and Balance, Flight Planning and Gen Nav. I cannot recommend these guys enough, their approach is friendly and approachable, whilst providing quality tuition that fits around your schedule. I really stuggled with Gen Nav with a previous instructor but with Huw's help I recently got 91% in the exam.

Their real world experience also helps you understand the subject area. Thanks guys

EvoATPL has clear and coherent resources and the instructors were brilliant for me. Huw really elevated my understanding and knowledge for Gen nav with great exam techniques and the option to choose how I wanted to tackle questions, using linear formulas or the CRP.

Huw was amazing, helping me get through 3 subjects that I struggled with. Really enjoyable sessions, kept lively with some humour as well!! Ended up going from struggling to understand the subject to being able to explain the content, be confident with exam technique and having confidence going into the exams. Would highly recommend.
