I had taken classes from another organization for a few years, but was feeling like my learning had reached a plateau. I decided to try some one-on-one instruction and tested out several teachers before I found Anthony. We have now worked together for a number of months, and I truly appreciate his style, approach, pacing, and judgement-free teaching. I fully recommend.

I am taking online 1/1 class with Anthony. I am so glad I have found Anthony as a French teacher and I can't be happier.

Before last year, i had learned on my own for a number of years and I encountered a roadblock for further advances. I tried group class with a local university, and I also tried other online tutors. But my experience with Anthony is the best.

Compared with other tutors who just want to chat, Anthony is extremely well organized and prepared. I am constantly amazed that he can keep track of my weekly progress, assuming he has many other students to teach. Even the documents he sent me were clearly marked with date, class numbers, and with/out notes. His notes on texts are clearly market with different colors for better understanding. I don't know how he can achieve that.

Anthony clearly knows his materials extremely well. One example that impressed me most is verb types. Most teachers and textbooks talk about ER, IR RE verbs, but nobody but Anthony also explained to me that, there are different types of verbs within each category that with different conjugation rules. That is a "a-ha" moment for me and it cleared a lot of confusion.

Anthony is also very professional and is not a clock watcher. Many times, the class will run over scheduled time, but Anthony is always patient. He never rushed off, but asked me if I have additional questions and give examples.

The added bonus is that Anthony is multi-lingual, especially with Chinese. While I am perfectly fine with learning French with English, it is always a pleasant surprise when Anthony explains new french words in Chinese.

I feel that in the short three months I am taking classes with Anthony, I have made good progress. Obviously, as a working adult, I do not have a lot time to go over materials repeatedly. I hope Anthony is not frustrated with my progress or lack thereof, because I do plan to learn from him for the long haul

Anthony has a great teaching style, he is engaging, patient, positive and has an impressive knowledge of a number of foreign languages so really understands the challenges of learning a language. The classes are well prepared with up-to-date materials about relevant topics which Anthony then develops with plenty of examples. I have been taking classes with Anthony for four months and have noticed a big improvement in my speaking and listening ability.

Anthony is an excellent teacher. He is very professional, great at communicating with students, and extremely patient. He knows how to teach French while allowing students to experience French culture and different landscapes, making the learning process very engaging and not boring at all. He is the best teacher I have ever met.

His passion for language is evident in his podcasts which cover different subjects in an engaging manner. He speaks clearly and varies speed and complexity according to level. I started my French A1 level with Anthony three years ago, and now I can work in a French-speaking company. He's very patient, well-prepared, and well-organized in the lessons. Also, because he can speak many different languages, sometimes he can explain some complicated words or grammar in a way that the other languages can explain. I really enjoy the French language learning with him.
