I have the 2 year extend warranty plan…
I have the 2 year extend warranty plan and I have 2 holes in the top tread part of my tire that i've been driving on for over a year and they denied my claim for a replacement. They said because of the tread is not worn enough basically what they saying. So because these cheap bastards here don't want to honor my claim, I'm now riding on a tire that has both a tire plug and a patch on the other side of the tire. THIS PLAN IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF AND USELESS. THEY HAVE A BOGUS PROTECTION PLAN FOR THE CONSUMER. If i would've knew then what i know now, I would've NEVER bought a warranty from these scammers

They will bend over backwards to deny your claim!
I spilled wine on a chair with a warranty, and because I tried to clean it first they denied my claim, which is ridiculous. I was actually trying to avoid filing a claim but I guess because I attempted to resolve it first, that was a problem. It's a complete sham and they will come up with any excuse to deny a claim. Save your money!!!!

Kickbacks? I don't know.
So I am just relaying my experience here but Extend insurance was added to my internet order without my knowledge and was charged. When I saw the charge on my invoice the provider was happy to take it off but spent time trying to encourage the service (ie upsell) which I thought was odd. After thinking about it, I now believe companies partner with Extend and receive kickbacks or percentages or whatever you want to call it. Otherwise, why would the company I am receiving my auto parts from spend effort trying to convince me of the merits of this insurance. But I live in a reasonably good neighborhood and don't need it. Just beware; the shippers usually already have their own insurance although the claim process is long and possibly lacking.
Edit : Sent Extend my contact info but my comment really stands as-is. (1) Delivery insurance seems like a dubious asset unless conditions warrant. (2) Customers of goods should be given the opportunity to "add" delivery insurance instead of putting it there w/o customer knowledge and (3) People should be aware that companies like Extend may split profit between their clients in order to generate greater income. I don't necessarily blame small businesses for falling for it since it is probably very difficult to make a profit but it seems to me like there should be other ways to do that than offering this service. Reading other Trustpilot reviews of this company seem to corroborate my opinion here. Not much else to say here.

I am very disappointed with extend furniture warranty. I bought my recliner. Have two years extended warranty on it..
The recliner was broken. my chair tipped to one side. The fabric is stretch. The strain is stretch.. The technician came out to check. He told me that he is going to screw back the screw in where the screw came out. it it’s still tipped to one side. I have a bad issue and that have contribute to my bad pain. because the chair is not even distribute with sprained.
If the technician repair the screw is not going to change the fact that the spring is stretch and the fabric is stretched and messed up wrinkle. this company refused to do what is right. Before I bought the furniture, they told me that if anything wrong with my chair, they will replace it. They are not leaving to what they promise they are customers. I feel like I have been scammed..
I am office income disabled. I do not have money to go buy another chair..

Lack of communication and support
I received a package that was damaged during transit and 2 items were lost (through the hole in the package) I tried submitting a claim on 3 separate occasions online but just got back an error screen that read " thats out bad, try again later". I then called customer service and explained my issue. They communicated that they actually got my claims even though I never received any confirmation on my end. After submitting yet another claim over they phone I was told id receive an email with further steps....I never did. I once again called Extend days later where they informed me my claim was denied (never received word of this through email) because they don't cover missing products even though the package was damaged. Their explanations of what is covered online is confusing and misleading. The company could improve by improving communication and clarifying what they do and don't cover. I would not recommend using their shipping protection

Paid for shipping protection from CJ Pony parts, issues with shipping but my claim was immediatly denied with no explantion given. I got screwed by CJ Pony and this company.

It was waste of money
It was waste of money. Purchased key cutting machine with $300 warranty plan, when internal battery failed I submitted claim. Extend opened the case and never covered anything, every time i called they saying they need 72 hours to get back and no one called me back. Total scam , don’t waste your money!

Customer Service is Amazing When You Can Reach Them
**Review Updated** I had a major issue with an order from Midway USA. Reaching Extend customer service with the schedule I work was a challenge. Once I reached them, they took care of me immediately. The only reason I didn't update my review to 5 stars was their customer service hours need to be extended later into the evening hours, especially for those of us who live in MST and PST time zones.

I would give ZERO stars if I could
I would give ZERO stars if I could. We paid $550 extra on our furniture to cover ANY rips, tears, mechanical issues on the recliner. We have had the furniture for right at 2 years and are having a bunch of issues and they keep denying our claim! I would NEVER purchase a warranty from them again. TERRIBLE customer service!

What a runaround
What a runaround, purchased items from Midway USA. Delivered to someone else. Told by EXTEND that I have to contact UPS. Midway told me that was not right. Extend now says that I have to wait for UPS to finish their "investigation" BS!! I just want my paid for order.

Extend is a scam company
Extend is a scam company. I purchased a 2 year warranty with them via Senior.com for a kneeling chair. The kneeling chair was damaged - photos were sent and my claim was denied within minutes. They didn't even review it, it seems. I have AVN and this chair is a medical necessity, the fact that a company is so careless after we the consumer takes care to purchase a protection plan is utterly disheartened. Would not recommend this service at all.

A Difficult Process Made Better by Outstanding Support
My experience with Extend was a mix of frustration and appreciation. On the negative side, the process took much longer than I expected. My claim was opened months ago, and throughout that time I received different explanations and updates that did not always match up. The delays were stressful, especially since I needed the reimbursement to replace my sons bike. It often felt like the communication between Extend and the manufacturer was not consistent, which added unnecessary time and confusion to the situation.
With that said, the positive side came from the support I received from Whittney. Once she stepped in, the experience changed completely. She communicated clearly, stayed on top of the issue, and made sure I understood what was happening and why. She also made an exception so that I could receive the full limit of liability without deductions, which I truly appreciated. She handled everything with patience, professionalism, and real care for the outcome.
If the entire process had the same level of service that Whittney provided, it would have been a smooth and outstanding experience. She represents exactly what a warranty company should stand for, and I am more than willing to share her excellent service with her leadership team.
Overall, while the claim took far longer than it should have, the resolution and the customer service I received at the end made a very positive impact.

The worst warranty service you’ll ever get
If I could possibly rate this company lower, I would. For over three months, this company has made a simple tire replacement as difficult as possible. Between ordering the wrong parts and every request or escalation requiring 1-3 business days to get any kind of traction without any real solutions, this company has managed to make me waste substantially more money and time than the warranty was ever worth. I regret ever getting this warranty and warn everyone else to avoid the company like the plague. Their initial customer service team is extremely polite; this is to mislead you from their unbelievable ineptitude. DON’T USE EXTEND.

I was expecting a stressful experience…
I was expecting a stressful experience when I filed my claim. I expected to be on the phone for hours , being transferred to numerous associates,have to take photos etc. - to my delightful surprise, I was wrong! My claim was approved in minutes! I am so very happy with EXTEND. What a wonderful company.
