Factofly: Project-based work without registering a business With Factofly, you take on projects for clients without registering your own business (Gewerbe). We handle the legal and administrative framework. You focus on your work. How it works You agree on the project and the price with the client. For the duration of the project, you are employed by Factofly GmbH. We send the client a correct invoice. When the client has paid, we pay income tax and social security contributions on your behalf. Then we pay out your salary. You are covered by pension, health, long-term care and unemployment insurance. Who it is for Factofly is for professionals who want to work on a project basis without the paperwork of running a business. You might be taking on your first project, testing project-based work alongside a job, or working on projects regularly. You don't need a tax number for your business, VAT registration or bookkeeping. We take care of that part.
