I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PASSPORT!!!

This service is no longer what it used to be. I used them to expedite my husband's passport about 6 years ago and it was amazing. They made it so easy, they always answered the phone, they called me if there were any issues or if they needed anything. NO LONGER. I submitted my renewal application to them the last week of February (4-7 weeks wait time for the expedited service at the time, and an additional $189 on top of the government passport and expedited fees) so i could go on a driving trip to Canada with my family this Thursday (May 11th, 2023). That is 10 weeks before my travel date. They held onto my passport application for 1 MONTH before I asked them for my application status. Turns out Fastport Passport rejected my photo and sent me an email asking for a new photo, which got filtered into spam. I didn't see it until 4 weeks after submitted my application. I mailed a new photo to them the day I found the email in my spam folder. It took them a WEEK to then submit my application to the Department of State. So, after submitting my application the last week of February, it wasn't until the first week of April that my application finally made it to the Department of State. Well, in that time, the Dept. of State had received an influx of so many other applications that "expedited" now means 7-9 weeks. They have now estimated that I won't receive my passport until as early as next week (too late to have my passport and go on my trip) or as late as the first week of May!! I no longer recommend this service. I have tried to call several times. I have never gotten through to speak to anyone. I requested a call back each time but only actually received a call back once. When they called me back they left me a voicemail that just gave me my application status and COMPLETELY IGNORED my request for a refund of their fee of an additional $189. I have sent emails asking for a refund of their fee and haven't gotten a reply yet. I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY PASSPORT! Use a different service or just do it yourself. Fastport Passport is not the company it used to be, apparently, and has almost nonexistent customer service and doesn't complete the services they advertise. I will update this review if they refund me their fee of the additional $189. It's a waste of money and this company is now a scam. Which is awful, because they used to be great.

Takes forever to get a person! Everything is by email or 800 number you wait and wait to get a person working from their home. I called left messages and then had to call back numerous times. I was disconnected with one lady and she never even called me back. One week I waited to be able to just download the forms. Still I can’t download forms. There isn’t a costumer service area and they told me they will not refund me my money, over $700!
I have used several agencies. I thought this was one of them. Don’t do it. Keep looking! Seriously!!

Simply exceptional service. This is my second time I have renewed my passport and you just outdid yourselves. Definitely the best and the fastest.

Fast return of passport . 4 weeks

This company is the real deal. I won a trip overseas through my work and realized my passport had expired... I needed it in 4 and a half weeks. I paid for the 5 week option since it was not as expensive, hoping it would come just in time. I was hesitant to pay the extra money but they were able to get me my new passport in hand in 2 weeks! saved my trip. (Their official day count begins once they receive your completed paperwork.) So keep that in mind when you order

Realizing my husbands passport was expiring within a few months after our international trip was planned I frantically searched for a reputable company to expedite the renewal process. The detailed steps to follow was what I needed to be sure no errors were made and risk the renewal being returned. I tracked the process every step of the way on their easy to use website. I believe from start to new passport in hand was 3 weeks! Hopefully I won’t forget to renew in time again, however, if I do I know who to use!

I interpreted the 5 week expedited renewal service as calculated from the day you send in your passport but customers should just know that timing is actually calculated as 5 weeks from Fastport's receipt and sending out of your passport for processing. This misunderstanding made for some very anxious moments on my end. Customer service was somewhat helpful although I did have wait about 30 min to speak to someone each time I called. I ended up having to move my trip back, which turned out not to be a major problem, but if I hadn't I would not have gotten my passport in time to go.

I couldn’t recommend this company enough, I love the fact I was able to talk to people on the same day I placed a phone call, they were very fast, and they provided excellent service. They communicated via email and text message constantly to update me about the status of my husband’s passport renewal. After talking to them I had a lot of peace of mind al as a knew his passport would be making it on time for our vacation.

Forgot to send pictures in, but did the next day and still got my passport a day earlier than they said. Great service!

Very fast. Good transparency about the process from beginning to end. Passport arrived 1 week before scheduled date. My husband is using it to renew his passport. And I would definitely recommend for others.

my passport arrived on time. It was very expensive, and the initial fee that I was instructed to pay on my check was incorrect. I had to send another check, which was nerve racking. I'm happy to have my passport. I used this service because it seems to be the only one available.

I was so worried as I read many mixed reviews and also worried about whether or not reviews were written by actual clients.
The Fastport staff were easily accessible and always responded to my questions within a reasonable timeframe.
Received email updates at each step so that was reassuring as well.
I paid too much initially and received the credit back to my card within one week.
The cost is a little hefty and applying via the traditional route might have worked but I wanted to opt for a service that could provide me with a turn around date.
So thankful for the great service, now ready to pack for my trip! :)

In today's world where government offices are not always dependable, it was nice to be able to follow the process each step of the way. No stress and handled very professionally. Thank You!
