Fedex Canada, Poor Performance
I'm receiving email notifications from FedEx Canada for two consecutive past days, stating that my envelope would be delivered “today”, but nothing was delivered.
This creates false expectations and is very frustrating, especially for important documents. The tracking system is also unclear, showing vague locations like “Mississauga” and “Markham” without identifying the actual branch handling the shipment.
As a customer, I have no reliable way to know when the delivery will actually happen. FedEx should not send “delivery today” emails unless the item is truly out for delivery, especially when signature on delivery is required, like my case!
Not able to send a document with a check.

Went to Staples told can't do it there because it my letter has a check. Told go to the main FedEx spot in the city (Dartmouth NS Canada) but to call first. Tried calling but AI call taker refused to put me through to a live human being. Next Stop UPS Store.

When I called Fedex they couldn't even tell me more than I was already seeing on my account. I understand it's not an easy job to do, but it's not like my time doesn't matter.

Vos livreur font une job de tout croche et en plus j'en ai vue se stationner en plein milieu de la rue pour aller livrer lorsqu'il y avait de la place sur le côté de la rue !

This was the second time this happened
This was the second time this happened. The drivers “attempted” to deliver but absolutely 100% did not ring my buzzer. I called and after 30 minutes of trying to talk to a person, he assured me that they would ring the buzzer. Well I was watching the door but went away for 5 minutes and they came in, did not ring the buzzer, and left a note saying I was unavailable. Worst delivery company and they do not care.

Les livreurs ne savent même pas lire un avis où il faut sonner pour savoir où laisser les colis! Imaginez! Le livreur est venu 5 fois POUR RIEN!!!!
De plus, le service téléphonique est on ne peut plus STUPIDE puisqu’il est impossible de fournir des informations supplémentaires comme cela se fait avec DHL, une compagnie qui fournit un service exemplaire!
Dorénavant je vais prévenir les compagnies que je refuse d’acheter leurs produits s’ils font affaire avec FEDEX!

Delivery to wrong address ,missing package, attempt to re delivery twice but driver didn't ringing the door bell and report we are not home. we were tracking the delivery schedule seating and waiting for both days. Unable to connect with a customer service. very poor experience.

Every time i have used FedEx they have had delays and delays delivering my packages. No more! The delay yesterday had no reason, the delay today is "Weather", it is sunny all day between my location and my package (1.5hr away). Unacceptable and I will never use this company again.
FedEx driver fraudently delivers Wayfair Canada shipment to another unknown location.
My wife and I had a shipment- a gazebo sent from Wayfair Canada- fraudently misdirected from our address to another this Monday the 16th of March. We received a smaller shipment from Wayfair last Friday and that shipment (2 boxes) was confirmed by a photo taken of our front door landing (see photo of landing shipment confirmation). The second shipment, a 11 x 11 foot gazebo set, to the same location in Bancroft, was never received and the confirmation photo is of someone else's garage (see below). We also have video footage of the driver arriving 28 minutes later to our home than the picture of the unknown garage that was sent to FedEx by the driver. Nothing was dropped off during the fraudulent delivery to our home. The video shows the driver pull into our driveway, stop,and then turn around near the road, and leave. The contents had been dropped off at this unknown garage (28 minutes earlier) before the driver arrived at the intended delivery location (our home). Despite contacting the resolution department, and with incontrovertible timeline and photo and video evidence, FedEx has indicated that it can't do anything about this apparent theft. The shipment came from the Belleville depot. Has anyone else experienced this? Michael Medina MBA, 64 retired college teacher.
FedEx Marked Delivery Attempt Without Actually Attempting
FedEx marked my package as “attempted delivery failed” without actually attempting delivery. Normally, a door tag should be left, but in my case there was no door tag and no phone call. I checked the security footage, and there was no FedEx van or delivery person at my address. When I called customer service, the representative told me the package was still at the local Dorval facility. Instead of delivering it to my address, I was told to choose a nearby pickup location so they would not need to come to my home. This is extremely unprofessional service. In my experience, Canada Post is far better than FedEx.

I ordered two jackets from Patagonia. When the package arrived through FedEx, the bottom of the shipping bag had been deliberately opened and one jacket was missing. The men’s Patagonia jacket was stolen, while the women’s jacket was left inside.
After contacting Patagonia customer service, they confirmed that both jackets were originally packed inside the bag before shipment. This means the item was most likely stolen during the FedEx delivery process. The bag clearly shows the Patagonia logo, which may have made the contents an easy target.
I went to my local Patagonia store to report the situation. This was a very disappointing experience and raises serious concerns about package security during delivery.

I am writing regarding a recent FedEx delivery on 6March 2025 to my apartment on the 3rd floor in REGINA , SK . The shipment included a mattress and a bed frame.
The driver arrived alone. He delivered the mattress to my door but asked me to help carry the bed frame upstairs. I felt uncomfortable but helped because there was no other option. After lifting the bed frame, I started experiencing stomach pain.
I want to clarify that the driver himself was polite and respectful. My concern is about the company's delivery policy. Heavy furniture deliveries should not require customers to assist with lifting, especially when only one driver is assigned.
This situation raises an important question: if a customer gets injured while helping with a delivery, who is responsible?
I would appreciate clarification about FedEx's policy for heavy deliveries and what protection customers have in situations like this.

My package was supposed to be deliver on March 3rd. Today March 4th, and the package is still in Paris. What a joke, not even an update on the delivery date. I am not sure how this company still holding.
Absolutely horrible service
Absolutely horrible service. I keep getting different dates and times when my parcel will arrive. And when I call "customer service" I get the same song and dance with no real answers, just repeating what their website tells them. I'm surprised this company is still in business. I find Canada Post more reliable and that in itself says something. If your thinking of using FedEx I have some advice... DON'T!!!
