I think I must not be able to count weeks as I ordered a mattress on 26th August...

I was advised “Unless a confirmed delivery date is given in the box below the delivery time for this order is 1 - 3 weeks.Please do not chase delivery of this order before 3 weeks has passed from the date of ordering.”

Well it is now 12th October nearly 7 weeks and I still have no mattress although I could be in luck in the next week or so...as I now have a despatch date of 9th October....with a message

Keen and Able 2-man delivery service Despatch: 09/10/20 Carriers will contact you 3-5 days from date of despatch to arrange delivery

Again contact me to arrange delivery... when is this next year!

I have chased again, very helpful customer services personal but meeting customer expectations and ability to manage their suppliers, warehouse and despatch of products is hopeless. I think I have got used to Prime excellent service, so perhaps I am being a bit harsh with a one star ⭐️

Ordered a "Silentnight Geltex Ultra 3000" in firm from The Sleep Shop / FGS Furnishings on the 30.09.2020, which was showing "in stock" on the web shop.
Received an order confirmation that the item was on back order with the supplier. Asked them to cancel my order, as the mattress was urgently needed.
Got offered a "medium-firm" mattress instead, which was supposed to be in stock. I agreed on the condition that it was dispatched the same day. This was confirmed on the 01.10.2020.
Asked for the tracking number today (06.10) and inquired with the transport company, which confirmed that they never received the mattress.
Cancelled order and requested a refund.
Received a reply, they would issue it as soon as the mattress was returned from the transport company.
But as mentioned above, the transport company never received the item in the first place.
Make of that what you will.

Filed a dispute for the payment as I have lost all confidence that they will issue a refund.

Had to give this company the one star to continue with my review, but they don't even merit that! I purchased a mattress from FGS furniture in July. The lead time for delivery given in the email confirmation was 1 to 3 weeks. I had not received my order after 3 weeks, so I telephoned the company to say I’d not yet received my order. The man I spoke to said he’d phone me back in 5 to 10 minutes, but I’d not heard back after 45 minutes, so I telephoned them again. Another man answered and said the man who was dealing with my enquiry was on the phone and would phone me back when he’s finished. I eventually had a return phone call, but the man said that the mattress wasn’t due in until the following week. I explained that I couldn’t wait another week as I need a mattress right away, so I asked to cancel the order and have a refund. The gentleman agreed to cancel my order and he said he’d process my refund. I emailed the company later that day, to ask how long my refund would take, as I’d paid via Paypal and assumed I’d get my refund that same day. I had a reply to say that the refund was being processed and should be back in my account within 2 to 4 days. After 7 days had passed and I’d still not received my refund, so I emailed the company again asking where my refund was, but they didn’t reply to me. I had to contact Paypal and open a dispute. After a further 2 weeks, the company had still not given me my refund, so Paypal decided in my favour and issued me with the full refund. The service from this company was absolutely appalling and after reading other reviews, I’m clearly not the only customer that’s been treated this way. I will never buy from this company again!

Excellent service from FGS Furnishings. Easy to navigate website and ordering. Delivered before due delivery date which is always a bonus. Love the mattress that we ordered very comfortable and good price. Would certainly buy from them again. Love the fact that they contacted after purchase to see if we were happy with order, great customer service.

Fantastic company to deal with, understanding of my needs, delivery when they said, great products aswell.

After being let down by The Range we went to this company the service was outstanding. The lady Alanna was so helpful and understanding of our situation that she did everything possible to help us choose the right mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. We had the mattress and wardrobe delivered and put together within 2 days at our request and the delivery men were very polite and courteous.
I would not hesitate to recommend them and if you cannot see exactly what you want just ask for help.

Great prices for top brands, and great after-sales support. Would definitely recommend again and again.

Normally you get what you pay for, but the products they sell are top brands and very good prices
