It is an awesome blessing to receive this item for free it help seniors and children with their daily lives. There needs to be more companies that provide the same types of blessings to the parents of children who can’t afford to provide their children with these resources and seniors who are on budget.

Got email and setup to pick up my tablet. Went to the office and in less than 10 minutes I was out the door and online 5G with my tablet. I like the ability to have this device and be connected to the internet via 5G. The tablet runs at a good speed.

It was indeed a great surprise when boxes arrived at the centre. I thought tabs are being sold at discount to seniors. But learnt they were to be distributed to seniors free of cost to enable them to handle communications, read news and entertain with games and music. What a noble thought of Figgers Foundation to donate free these laptops. Hats off to Foundation and their Trustees for this gesture. I find it very useful to spend time.

My disappointment comes because of the lack of organization and follow-up. We were supposed to receive a follow-up e-mail for an appointment. Me or my mom never received one. My mom just went to the pickup location and waited in line with her confirmation e-mail. I went on another date and was told had to make an appointment. When I showed up at my appointed time, I was told there were none available and we would have to wait. I feel as though if appointments were given out, there should have been enough laptops to distribute to those with appointments.
Again, I am grateful for the tablet, but the distribution process really needs to revamped. There should be enough tablets on hand to distribute to those who have an appointment. Some staff were very nice and cordial, but then you had others that were not so nice and cordial.

I keep having issues with the internet but everything else is great

I received a wonderful tablet. I love it. When I initially applied for the tablet, my confirmation noted that I would be contacted by phone within 7-10 days. After that time and no contact, I went to the office in Inverrary to inquire about the lack of contact because friends I had referred thought it was a hoax.

Once there, it was verified that tablets were indeed being distributed. I was able to place my name on the list and received my tablet within a few days. My friends are still awaiting their contact.

If possible, please contact those people who have signed up to at least be contacted within the time given even if there is wait before they can pick up the tablet.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tablet which includes Wi-Fi, a cover, 128g RAM and a keyboard. Thanks to Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick and the Figgers Foundation for providing this opportunity for members of the public to receive this wonderful tablet.

I too thought it was a scam but i was very when i got my laptop and walk out the door with it i love it my God bless you for your kindness.
