Purchased the Rwanda & Yemen blends, and my goodness! They are beautiful. I can taste the delicate hints of chocolate and an almost caramel after-taste in the Rwanda blend, truly beautiful and so light. The Yemen one is where the magic happens! I don't think I've tasted a coffee like it - it's fruity, but not. Bold but also quietly spicy - special.

I've been looking for a Yemeni blend for a while, given the country's deep and strong history with coffee (some might say where coffee originated from!) and was so happy to find Firebird, who's mission to help those going through conflict is a very worthy cause.

The customer service at Firebird is also great, got back to me with some answers to Qs I had very very quickly.

To summarise: will definitely purchase again and I encourage everyone to do the same!

I tried the new Rwanda Horizon and the Yemeni Harazi Wadi Alma. Without a doubt, the best tasting specialty coffee I have ever tried. The flavours are like nothing I’ve ever tasted before and I feel incredible drinking Firebird as I know I’m helping to change lives by doing it! Not only am I drinking the best coffee of my life, but I’m also supporting people from war and conflict torn countries. Wow!

Customer service was excellent. There was a problem with the delivery of one of the items to me (item damaged and lost in transit.. not Firebird Coffee’s doing at all). The company responded quickly and over and above their remit, offered me an automatic refund and a new product sent out.

Honestly, this is the best coffee I've ever tried! I'm not exactly a coffee expert, but I do know the difference between something that's bad and something that's good. Well...this is exceptional! I tried the taster pack and was really surprised by how diverse, fresh, and well-roasted they all are. It is FAR better coffee than you could buy in any UK shop I've experienced and the only times I've drunk coffee this tasty is when I've been abroad. Firebird's roasting team clearly have this down to an art form, but it's the backstory of the producers and the ethical approach of the company I like the most. Having perused their website, I feel as though I'm contributing towards the livelihoods of people who need the support the most (far more than you get when buying coffee from the likes of Starbucks!) That matters to me and I presume most coffee lovers too - I commend Firebird for stepping up to the mark and having such a positive business model. Finally, the service was great - I had my coffee delivered within a matter of days, the packing is sustainable and I love the branding! I really hope the company succeeds in getting their coffee into more cups, I'm excited to try more blends and coffee sourced from different countries and most of all, I'm thrilled to have found a company which cares so much about the producers. Thanks guys and keep the coffee flowing - it's delicious!

Really lovely tasting coffee from a fab ethical brand.

It made a gorgeous oat flat white. It’s a really gentle, non acidic coffee with great flavour.
