Hi John,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the delivery time-frame.
All of our pallet deliveries are handled by third-party couriers and typically arrive within the estimated delivery window provided at checkout. While most deliveries arrive smoothly, delays can occasionally occur depending on routing and local schedules.
In this case, we also didn’t have a contact phone number on the order, which can sometimes make coordination on the day of delivery more difficult for the driver.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure the best possible service for our customers.
Kind regards,
Firewood Direct

Hi David,
Thanks again for your order and for leaving a review! We really appreciate the honest feedback and are glad you're satisfied with our product.
Regarding the delivery, we’re sorry that the driver wasn’t able to place the pallet on the grass as requested. For future orders, we’ll always do our best to pass customer preferences to the driver in advance. That said, for safety reasons, moving a pallet of this weight (approx. 620–650 kg) onto soft ground isn’t always possible, as pallet trucks can get stuck or cause damage.
As outlined in our delivery policy, placing pallets beyond kerbside (e.g. into gardens or through gates) is at the driver’s discretion and can’t be guaranteed, especially when access is tight or surfaces are soft. As we work with multiple delivery partners, we’re unfortunately unable to ensure such requests can always be accommodated.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused and really appreciate your understanding.
Thanks again for choosing Firewood Direct.
Kind regards,
Firewood Direct

From order to delivery was very quick. The fire logs were well packaged and they burn great and give out fantastic heat. I would say the heat is equivalent to coal.
