Great training for a DIY like me who need to get guided :)

First Deal gave me a great baseline of tools and resources to get comfortable with the math and gain clarity around a strategy. The advisor network and 1x1 time available is highly valuable. The few advisors I worked closely with gave me the confidence to pursue and land my first deal. Brandon’s commitment to goal setting, and the disciplines and actions to achieve those goals, transcends real estate and has helped me grow in other areas of life. FD is a 10/10 program and I am honored to be a part of it.

I joined this program to get serious about real estate investing after years of learning but not taking action.

The biggest value is access — both to experienced coaches and to a network of investors and lenders. The coaches have been responsive and willing to go deeper than expected when you ask the right questions. The Facebook group is also active and helpful.

That said, this program is not going to hand you deals or hold you accountable. You need to be self-motivated and willing to take action. It leans more beginner-focused, and at times a clearer roadmap or strategy-specific guidance would reduce some of the early uncertainty.

Overall, I see this as a solid program for getting in the right rooms and accelerating your learning curve. If you put in the work and ask for help, the resources are there. If you’re looking for something that does the work for you, this isn’t it.

The First Deal curriculum was extremely helpful for someone like me who was both unknowledgeable and timid. I became diligent, knowledgeable, and capable as a real estate investor going through this class. In addition to great curriculum, they also provide great resources and solid advisors that help when needed. I found it very helpful and recommend First Deal to others.

I started learning about real estate less than a year ago and I didn’t even know the basics. I feel like this program was the start of something bigger. I understand terms and can talk real estate now with somebody but now it’s my turn to level up and truly understand the numbers and how to be creative. First deal has given me the confidence to make the first step and I’m super grateful for that. I felt like all of the advisors did a great job and were always there for us. There’s so much more to do and learn but love having the support system behind me.

Closing my first deal was a milestone I’ll never forget, and a big part of that is thanks to First Deal. The guidance, experience, and ability to break things down into actionable steps made what felt overwhelming at first actually possible. From understanding the numbers to navigating the process, First Deal’s approach gave me the confidence to move forward and execute.

This is not just another hype session. While Firstdeal does build enthusiasm and confidence, it's real value is in the systems you learn to execute and the amazing one on one coaching you get from the team assembled here. There is such diversity in the specialties represented in the coaching group that every student will find a true expert available to give specific advice on deals, and systems to give you the best possible chance at success.

I’ve been, on the whole, mostly disappointed with First Deal. I’m currently remodeling my first investment property from the studs up, I’m making a lot of mistakes, but the $7,000 I spent on this course is the money I most wish I could have back. There’s really not a ton of substance to the course. You get a 6-week onboarding (which is information you can get by reading any introductory Real Estate book), a weekly group phone call, a group Facebook page, and access to 1 on 1 calls with mentors. Of those four things, the only thing that’s returned any value for me is the 1 on 1s, and even then, only with one of the mentors (shoutout Ryan). The weekly phone call always feels rushed, the mentors in the group often seem to be tired of answering questions, and fairly enough, many of the other students in the course don’t seem like they’ve done their homework and it can be frustrating. The Facebook page has no community engagement. The 1 on 1s can be valuable, but not all of the mentors are the same caliber. I had one guy show up 12 minutes late to our 30 minute session and then take the zoom call from his phone while he walked around distracted. Many of the mentors are also trying to sell you sub-courses or other subscriptions and additional 1 on 1 coaching, which feels like a perverse incentive to not provide the highest quality service with what’s included in your First Deal subscription. Overall, real estate is extremely market dependent. Nobody involved in First Deal has been any help with dealing with my local market, which is the only one I’m personally interested in. Go get involved in your local Real Estate Investors Association chapter. You’ll get a lot more value for free or close to it. If you are BRAND NEW with real estate and you’re not enough of a self starter to begin devouring books or if you’re very well along in your real estate career and you’re looking to try some more creative approaches, then this course is probably not the most effective way to do either of those things, but it would help you more than it would if you were in my position (self-motivated and already executing on a starter plan). If you want my advice , take Brandon’s own advice from The Book on Rental Property Investing, and don’t waste your money on the course. Go buy a property instead.

The amount of encouragement and knowledge that are made available to you in this program are really incredible. So many people at different stages of life from college students to retirees that makes you feel like wherever you are in life, you can do this.

The thing I enjoyed the most out of this experience is that everyone at FirstDeal is genuinely excited for you to succeed. Whether it be the mentors, FirstDeal members, or even Brandon himself. I really feel like it’s a community with everyone wanting everyone to succeed.

What began as just an idea, quickly turned into a full-blown system that starts with a robust education. After gaining a thorough understanding of the tools available for my real estate journey, the First Deal Team provided insight into how to really get serious about my crystal clear criteria, and where I should focus my efforts, from the “what” to the “how”. We have weekly meetings that consistently prove beneficial in those next steps, whatever they may be. I joined First Deal in 2025, found and closed on a quadplex, and rented it out with 100% occupancy, proving there is a way to start this journey. And the best part is you don’t have to do it alone. This team is like-minded and only wants all our members to be successful. In December 2025, I became part of a syndication team and we closed on a 60-unit apartment complex. With First Deal, and the right mindset, you can begin the start of your real estate journey, learn critical skills to scale your operations, and expand your portfolio. It all starts with the first step, your first deal, and the First Deal team.

After spending 20 minutes on the website and watching the required materials and answering several questions via both text and email prior to my call I still had exactly ZERO understanding of what this company actually does, all of the language was extraordinarily vague. The person I met with was very condescending. When I expressed frustration he pushed it aside, he LITERALLY laughed at my lack of knowledge (and told me that made me a good candidate), when I told him I wasn't interested in continuing to work with him he asked why, didn't let me finish, then turned it around in an oddly egotistical way and told me that I was the one who wasn't a good candidate to work with them just before hanging up.

The program does not include anything on entity structure or commercial real estate, and they have no experience in commercial real estate despite being told both of these items were included in the program. They also promise a 100% satisfaction and property purchase guarantee or your money back but do not honor it.
You can spend $10 on a book from him and learn everything they’re going to “teach” you a fraction of the cost but the reality is the program is all very basic information that is readily available. Make the program a complete waste of money.

Within 2 months of starting the program, I had my first deal locked in. Their guidance and accountability kept me focused and moving forward. Highly recommend if you’re ready to take action and get results fast. The advisors are great and readily available for all things REI related.

I joined the First Deal program last year, and I closed on my very first real estate deal 4 months into the program — and it’s been going incredibly well ever since. I’m now already closing on my second property.

Before joining, I was completely lost and had no idea how real estate worked, but I had the desire to learn. One of those mentors even became my realtor and played a huge role in getting me to the finish line.

More than just real estate, this experience has transformed my mindset. I’m now surrounded by a community of high-achieving individuals, and I feel like a completely new person with a fresh perspective on what’s possible (I literally believe sky is the limit!)

If you’re on the fence and looking to get started, First Deal is the launchpad you’ve been waiting for!

Basic but effective. First you pick a crystal clear criteria. And then you commit wholeheartedly. With many professional experienced coaches to answer any question you have every step of the way. Happy to have joined and would definitely recommend to anyone who actually wants to take action.

Amazing program. I’m a month in and I now have 15 doors. Highly valuable. It’s not only for beginners. I’m a licensed realtor of 12 years and have done hundreds of transactions as an agent and this has helped me tremendously!!

Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. It has been nice knowing I can go to an expert when I run into problems. I’d definitely recommend this program.
