Scam. Verbally quoted me rates for primary medical insurance (an 80/20 plan specifically). Then waited forever for my cards, finally used it on 3/20/26 ($300 dr. visit) and after waiting for them to pay 80% was told by the claims department that it will cover $50, and I would need to pay $250. It is actually a secondary plan, and not a great one at that. Also, everyone claims to be Ashley Messer. Weird.

ZERO STARS! They robbed me of $581 over 5 months. I went to a .gov site & got what I thought was a legit government insurance. They gave me different options of insurance companies, etc. I was given the names of insurance companies, I chose one. They needed my payment information, I gave it to them, I was then told it wouldn't even be able to be started until last insurance sent a notification of ending. Started having money withdrawn from my account from First Enroll Health. I called them & a man assured me it was for the health insurance. 2 months later, received a bill owing for 2 months of insurance from the actual insurance company. They never received a dime from First Enroll Health. My bank won't return the money as fraud so I'm out $581.
FirstEnroll Health is a broker. They are actively SCAMMING people, we need a Class Action Lawsuit!

I recently sought help enrolling in ACA marketplace health insurance after losing my job due to medical reasons. I was connected with an agent at Trusty Oak Insurance Agency, who proceeded to deceptively bundle an unauthorized, expensive "Basic Core" membership ($169.58/mo, administered by FirstEnroll) into my medical insurance enrollment without clear, upfront disclosure that it was 2 plans bundled together, (my Medical Plan $30.58 and the unauthorized supplemental $169.58.
When reviewing the application, I noted an attestation requiring me to confirm I was "currently working." I explicitly informed the agent I was unemployed due to a medical condition. He coached me to falsify the application, instructing me to check the box anyway so the enrollment would proceed.
When I later discovered this was an independent, third-party supplemental product and attempted to cancel within the 30-day money-back window, I was met with extreme hostility from FirstEnroll management. A supervisor lied about Tennessee state refund laws to block my return and threatened to retaliate by attempting to cancel my government-subsidized medical health insurance.
I have since secured my actual medical coverage independently and have formally reported this agency to Healthcare.gov and state insurance regulators. Please be extremely cautious if you are being directed to "bundle" your health insurance with any third-party memberships through this agency—do not sign anything without verifying every individual cost and disclosure yourself.

There shouldn't be ANY stars allowed for this so called "company!" I HAD to choose one star in order to write this!
They are a complete SCAM! DO NOT TRUST!
They need to be reported for scamming people!

First Enroll for Consumer Service Group DBA Lunas Health Insurance Company. Is a total scam. They contact you and tell you that you are in arrears and your supplemental insurance will not cover you. I signed up and cancelled within hours and they did not want to refund my initial credit card charge, only future charges.
They use the fear factor of not being covered

MANAGED CARE/FIRST ENROLL DOES NOT NEGOTIATE DOWN THE BILL. THEY HAVE NO CONTRACTS WITH ANY SERVICE PROVIDERS. I ONLY GET A DISCOUNT IF THE SERVICE PROVIDER CHOOSES TO LET ME OFF THE HOOK FOR OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Initially, I thought First Enroll was health insurance. After I signed up I found out that they had enrolled me in a Managed Care, PPO, plan who negotiated reduction in fees for medical services with the medical service provider.
This was also not true. After 6 hours on the phone today I found out the truth. First is the multiple names used: First Health PPO, Paramount Open Network, and the card I got was Managed Care.
Second, I had to go to the ER and the bill was $1,262 for a blood draw and test to show I did not have a blood clot. Managed Care sent me a form showing that my part of the bill was $111.96, or roughly 10% as advertised.
Third, the service provider says they cannot call out to insurance companies, they have to call in. But, Managed Care says they cannot call out to the service provider, they have to call in.
Fourth, they both agreed to a conference call. During the first call Managed Care hung up after putting us on hold with REALLY annoying music.
Fifth, in the second attempt at a conference call the service provider person in the billing department kindly provided all the information and this is what we learned:
MANAGED CARE/FIRST ENROLL DOES NOT NEGOTIATE DOWN THE BILL. THEY HAVE NO CONTRACTS WITH ANY SERVICE PROVIDERS. I'D ONLY GET A DISCOUNT IF THE SERVICE PROVIDER CHOOSES TO LET ME OFF THE HOOK FOR OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Guess what! They didn't. So, I pay the full amount.

Scam Company! Do Not give them your credit or debit card information. They mislead you into thinking they are a major medical insurance making you pay a deposit before seeing the fine print on what they are selling. Then when you try to cancel their snake oil salesman get aggressive and refuse to cancel your plan when it clearly says you have 30 days to do so. It got to the point where the only way I could cancel was to dispute the $1,400 charge on my card which I thankfully got back. Stay far away from these scam artists!

If FirstEnroll isn't a health care provider then what is my monthly payment paying for? Is it all a scam? If my son goes to a doctor will they accept his card ? Meaning he has health insurance coverage/

They need minus stars. This is definitely a scam, scam, scam. My husband put his info looking for dental insurance and got flooded with calls. He answered to really tell them to stop calling him, but the guy said he was working on behalf of the government health insurance and connected people with the different insurance companies. Short story long, "sold" him a policy with Aetna. Told some lame story about the email confirmation won't come until 8am the next day. That's the sorriest story I've ever heard, so of course my red flags were going off and I made sure we got a name, number, member number, etc. Somehow they were able to take the money out immediately- their system worked for that, but not an email. Eye roll. They asked for social, dob, address, EVERYTHING. But the customer service number they gave us is "unassigned"- 855-483-43359, and the member number is non existant on Aetna's platform. Total scam.
Then they come back with a completely tone-deaf, generic auto response about they don't sell insurance. Well, someone did! Someone took the money out of my bank and the only person I was talking to was First Enroll!

I experienced some questionable actions by Heightened Health after being given a fake phone number from the rep who assisted me. Given these circumstances, I requested the cancellation of the policy prior to coverage beginning.
I proceeded to follow-up and was advised a refund would be issued for the fees I was charged. I was then told on 2/12/26 that I wouldn't be receiving the refund by Jessica. A girl that couldnt find water if she fell out of a boat.
Today, I received a call from Ernie with First Enroll. He became aware of what occurred and assured me, he would take care of this matter on my behalf.
Ernie, is a class act and an asset to First Enroll.
He did mention that due to First Enroll being a TPA, many times the fault of other organizations ends up falling in the lap of First Enroll.
Anyone preparing to sling mud be certain you have the correct "mud receiver" before posting.
I pulled my negative review and wanted to give credit, where credit is due.....
Thanks again Ernie! Be Well!

I'm writing this review so you don't fall into this trap. After doing some research, this company has many red flags.
My experience: They sold me a supposed PPO health insurance policy accepted at Baylor Scott and White in Dallas, TX, and they also sold me dental and vision "insurance." The price for both was too good to be true: $248 + $50 enrollment, plus $69 for vision and dental. I agreed to it to take effect on March 1, 2026, with a payment due date of February 14, 2026. The day after I bought it, on January 15, 2026, I received payment notifications. I called to complain, of course, and they assured me it was a "system error on the part of the collections company." They sent me an email confirming the payment via bank withdrawal on February 14, 2026. It was a LIE.
By the 19th, the money had already been withdrawn from my bank account. I called to complain. They said, "Yes, of course, sorry," and that they would stop the charge processing. That was a LIE too.
On the 20th, the withdrawal of $367 went through. I called this supposed insurance company again, spending an hour trying to sort this out.
They supposedly initiated the refund, and my bank statement showed it as authorized and in process.
On the 21st, that company canceled the refund! Even though I told them that if I didn't have my money in my account the next day, I was going to file a police report for fraud. They processed the refund so I would see it the next day and then canceled it, thinking I wouldn't notice.
I've already filed a complaint with my bank, and they're going to make sure they return the money they took from my account without my authorization. Then they lied about returning it.

FirstEnroll Healthcare appears as the top 'sponsored' result on Google for 'Health Insurance. After I entered my phone number, I received an immediate sales call. The representative focused on my desired monthly price while listing too good to be true coverage details and explaining how traditional insurance companies look only to their own enrichment. They presented their service as a provider of Comprehensive Medical Coverage but instead enrolled me in a limited benefit or discount plan through Good Health Distribution Partners (GHDP). This plan is not traditional comprehensive health insurance and leaves patients vulnerable to astronomical medical bills for services that ACA-compliant plans would normally cover. FirstEnroll uses deceptive marketing and high-pressure tactics to harvest leads and sell inadequate products to people seeking legitimate health insurance.

DO NOT TRUST this company/scammers! It is a circus meant to deceive. Extended wait times on calls, shuffling me to other numbers and emails. The contract says I am entitled to a full refund, but who will give it to me? DO NOT believe their phony excuses! Who else is involved in my search for a resolution? AFEUSA, TNT, Dylan Consulting, and others. RUN! I wish I had checked their reviews before dealing with them.

The company gave me a price, but forgot to mention an additional 100 dollar entry fee. Then I find out they Aetna is not there parent company and I only received Aetna Dental, not medical which I was told. There was one honest supervisor there named Sophia, who would hire in minute. She was honest, fair, direct, professional, and didn’t lie to try and do damage control. I emailed the company makeing sure she deserves some type of raise or promotion, because everyone else is fraudsters and scammers down in south flordia.

Similar to most reviews here, This ‘company’ continues to take money from my account after being directed to stop. Evidently the only way to separate is to stop payment through bank. Very frustrating

In July I received a call from Nick at enrollment services and purchased an insurance plan. I made sure 3 times that my mental health benefits were covered with the representative. On August 1st, I submitted my insurance information to my psychiatrist. After two weeks of back-and-forth, I was finally told that the insurance that I was enrolled in had no mental health benefits. I spent the next two weeks asking for my money back and to cancel the plan. I got no callbacks and was treated very disrespectfully. I am still going back-and-forth, and getting the run around from the 3rd party member services including no call backs from supervisors, or anyone even after promises, transfers to managers with full VMs and disconnected, and they're telling me that because I didn't ask for the refund within thirty days of enrollment, I will not get the money back. I was lied to and sold a product i could not use. And because of the poor third party member services, all of this was delayed. And now I am being refused any kind of refund. Someone in corporate or a CEO is getting money off of my suffering.
