Coaching really unbelievable. Throughout my careers I have played academy for the most part and the coaching received from first point USA was superior. I am really looking forward to my scholarship and I couldn’t recommend it any more.

The experience was amazing, some of the things that made it so great was the introduction at the start going though a PowerPoint to show what this opportunity offers and showing us what it’s like in the USA for example day in the life of a college student this helps people understand what the experience will be like if you get a scholarship. What also made it really good was the staff, they explained everything really well and taught the drills well. I also like that they give a lot of people an opportunity to do something like this because it changes peoples life’s in a good way and this process sets young adults up for there future.

Very professional set up. I'm glad I attended. My aim is to try my best to go to America for a scholarship. The trial was an excellent experience and the coaches at the trial was so good I just knew it's what I want to do in the future. Competition was high as lads there were a lot older than me, a lot bigger than me and had more experience than me. Which made me have to step up my game.

My experience was good because i found that the coaches were very challenging and pushed to try to my full ability. I also found that the competition in other players was different to what im used to when playing on sundays for my local team as they were alot better standard pushing me even harder.

Great experience for our young son, professional staff and great session to put the lads through their paces. Talk at the start could be a bit shorter.

Everything was very well organised, had the ability to showcase all aspects of my game, everything was in depth, coach’s were professional and there was an all-round good atmosphere.

The trial was a very good, well structured, competitive session which i took part in. Coaches were incredibly helpful and clear when talking.

the presentation at the beginning was very informative and a great way to start the assessment as it showed us athletes what we are working towards with First Point USA. The technical assessment was great too! even though i was the only girl i did not feel singled out or incapable of doing any of the tasks at hand. i would highly recommend that more girls take part as this is an experience no girl should miss out on

Coaching staff was very nice and very informative and clear on how we should do the drills. The trial was very good as they explained steps and supported you during your mistakes making us understand that it was ok to make mistakes which calmed my nerves down as I was very nervous.

We were first introduced to First Point by a friend who strongly recommended them as the best of the agencies in the UK. From the start we were very impressed by their knowledge and depth of the American soccer system, primarily that the agents had first hand experience of being educated and playing soccer in their early days out there. Our main contact Gary McDonald was professional, personable and knowledgeable throughout our son’s process. As you would imagine there is a lot of paperwork involved in securing an American university soccer scholarship, Gary was able to guide us through this process incredibly well giving in-depth advice which is where his experience shone and made the whole process easier to navigate.

After many offers our son finally accepted a place in South Carolina where he is experiencing the true American university way of life, he is absolutely loving his ‘soccer’ life and equally has made some new, lovely team mates/friends. We put our trust into First Point and they didn’t disappoint, they have been fantastic and continue to be there throughout our son’s University life in America which is comforting to know that the support still continues.
