Just completed installing a French door set for our safe room from Fortified Estates. The team over there was extremely helpful - Jon, and Bella. The process was easy and the remote build & ship was surprisingly accurate. Michael Mendoza has been a tremendous asset for me. Need slight fine tuning of the electronics. Highly recommend this company!

These guys are simply the best. And they genuinely care about customer satisfaction above all else. You don't find that often enough in businesses these days and when you do, you should reward it with your business. I look forward to using them more in the future should the opportunity arise.

Working as a general contractor we receive all types of special requests. We contracted with Fortified Estate to provide the door requested by our client. Fortified Estate staff is very knowledgeable and delivered exceptional service and support. They customized the door meeting or clients desires. The door arrived exactly as promised. The installation went very smoothly thanks to their attention to detail. We will definitely contract with Fortified Estate again.

This review has long been overdue, but I will first start out as a homeowner by saying this company is 10/10 for customer service, pricing, time to deliver, and everything in between!! The following detailed review will be in regards to a homeowners point of view and how fortified estate can best suit your security needs.

I first reached out to fortified estate via a phone call and was able to speak with the team regarding my security project, and they were very detailed regarding my DIY security project. I don't have much experience with DIY projects so having their guidance and advice was extremely helpful.

In total, I ended up ordering a couple fiberglass panels that were cut to secure one of the rooms in my home which I planned to secure on the outside of my walls, not inside of the drywall. When the panels arrived at my home the only issue I had with them was that there was a lot of shedding of the fiberglass off of the panels and for this particular room, this was not going to work. At this point, I contacted Fortified Estate to explain my issue and this is where they went above and beyond to make things right. After some more guidance, I realized that the Kevlar wall panels that they sell would be much more suited for my project than the fiberglass ones and they ended up at NO EXTRA COST TO ME, sending me out the Kevlar wall panels to make sure they felt my needs were meet as the customer and home owner. The weight of the Fiberglass panels makes them very expensive to ship, and if you factor in the extra cost of the Kevlar Panels compared to the fiberglass ones, Fortified estate put me as the customer first, even though it meant it affected their bottom line.

The VERY LEAST I could do is come to write a good review on their behalf and express the integrity of the company in making sure I didn't feel like I was cheated as a customer as this was a expensive project for me as a homeowner. With all of that being said, whatever home security project you have in mind as a residential owner, I would hopefully take some peace in going with Fortified Estate knowing that at the end, they will make sure you are taken care of, and feel that they have meet the requirements that you are seeking in your project. Below is a short Pros and Cons list of each Panel that way you can hopefully make the best decision for your project...

Fiberglass Panels:
Pros:
- More protection per Square Foot cost wise
- Can be inserted inside of the drywall
- A lot more variety with Protection levels

Cons:
- Very heavy panels
- The fiberglass will shed off the panels (will not be an issue if you are inserting into drywall).

Kevlar Panels:
Pros:
- Very light weight compared to Fiberglass
- has a little bit of give to them so you can more easily fit into doors and walls
- Absolutely no shedding of the materials off the panels

Cons:
- More pricey compared to the Fiberglass panels
- Only has one level of protection offered.

All of this is explained on their website in more depth, but maybe this will help some homeowners know their options before they take a look on their website.

I have so much peace of mind with the Kevlar panels up, and when my budget allows; I plan to be purchasing more from them in the future. Hopefully this review was helpful for those interested! At the end, the project may be pricey, but the security of your family and your loved ones is to me the most important thing and Fortified Estate helped my home feel a lot more safe then it was before.
