Lack of Communication
I placed an order as a Christmas gift. Per the website, the skates should have shipped in about five days; well, it took 16 days because the skates were -- unbeknownst to me -- on backorder.
My biggest issue was the lack of communication, didn't know the skates were on backorder until I had emailed the company four times inquiring about the skates, especially since I had received two requests for a review.
I truthfully thought I had been scammed; not a good look.

BUYER BEWARE! I’m sorry to say I’ve had an absolutely terrible experience with Foxy Skates. I am not one to usually write negative reviews. I have a lot of patience and understanding, but in this case…come on! I ordered skates for my daughter’s birthday. The order was placed on August 10th, and based on the information on their website that states that orders placed Mon-Fri are shipped the same day, Fex Ex, 2-3 day shipping, I expected to receive them in plenty of time. I chose Timeless Teal, which stated size 9 - IN STOCK. Ten days later, no skates still. I realize I never even received an emailed receipt for the purchase, but the credit card charge is there, so I emailed and asked. I’m informed the skates are back-ordered. Lo and behold, in tiny, pale lettering under the large bold IN STOCK, it stated skates were expected to ship August 25-30. It’s made clear this is my fault as the customer, despite how misleading it was. But they can offer to ship a size nine in a color we didn’t want instead. We decide to wait but I ask for a receipt. Twice. I’m ignored. Sep 1 rolls around and the skates still haven’t shipped. I received no contact about this, so I emailed in. Order is delayed. It’ll be another week or two. Time passes, still no skates, no communication. It’s noteworthy to mention this entire time, the very skates they cannot ship me they are heavily advertising as on sale. I check in again. I’m told they will definitely be in on Sep 22 and ship on the 25th. I finally received a Fed Ex notification on the 29th. But guess what? Only a label was created and no package was received by Fed Ex. So it didn’t ship, they only made a label. Fed Ex received nothing from them that week or the entire following week. I emailed in AGAIN and was told Fed Ex would definitely receive the package that Friday evening. Monday morning, still no package actually shipped. Wednesday I emailed a demand for a return of payment, TWO WEEKS after the package has supposedly “shipped.” I received no apology and no concern, just Fed Ex got your package Thursday morning. So, on Friday, OCT 6, nearly two months after placing the order of IN STOCK skates, we finally received them. That’s TWO WEEKS it took them to go from creating a FedEx label to actually shipping the product they probably didn’t have. And at that, the skates had dirty smudge marks both on the skates and the laces, as if they’d been worn and tried out. But you know what I didn’t receive? Not an ounce of customer service, care, concern or genuine apology for the situation. That would have gone a long way with me, but it wasn’t there. I WILL NEVER SHOP FOXY SKATES AGAIN AND I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT.

Worth the wait
It took a while from the time I ordered them to the time I received them but they were worth the wait. They looked great and I couldn’t get over how cushioned they were. I was worried about what size to order and ordered my shoe size praying they’ll fit, and they did. They were a little roomy but nothing a thick pair of socks wouldn’t take care of. I have already promoted my friends about Foxy skates.

Long delivery time
The skates are beautiful, but it took one month for me to receive my item, which was far longer than I expected. The communication with customer service was not great either.

I was excited for my purchase to arrive. It has arrived but I am missing two items that we're ordered. When I made the purchase I was given a 2-5 day window to receive however it took longer than that. I do want to purchase another pair but do not want to have issues again like this current order.

Potential Life Threatening Experience with Foxy Skates
0 rating is more appropriate. I am extremely angered disturbed and offended that this company would choose to send a product to a customer with blood in the boot of the skate attempting to pass it off as new. The boot toes of the skates are obviously damaged from a fall or improper stopping techniques. There are evident signs of wear and the worst part is there is a bloody finger print on the left inner wall of the left skate boot. I have photos indeed!
These skates (69.99) smell like they have been in a fire or smoke filled room.
I did not receive every item I ordered. No red replacement wheels that were 29.99 and no roller skate tool that was 9.99.
This customer service experience is trash.
I ordered these on 8/23 when per the website they were in stock and the order was confirmed that same day and my money accepted. I was excitedly waiting to 2-3 business day.
9/10 (12 business days have come and gone no skates or communication) I emailed for an update on my order because it was still only showing as confirmed. On 9/11 I was told that "the skates purchased we preorder items and they was a slight delay getting them back in stock. We expect to receive by end of this week (by 9/15)" I never asked to cancel my order but they stated they understood if id still like to cancel they would process my refund. I advised them I would prefer to receive the skates I ordered and that I would recommend more real time updates when substantial delays may occur.
9/23 (22 business days No updates, no skates) I requested an update on the order now a month old.
9/25 the order is marked shipped in Shop with tracking number but only a label was created.
9/26 I was told the skates will ship out that day and arrive 2-3 business days.
10/2 The packaged is picked up from the company
10/4 Delivered to me today and this is the condition it came to me as described before without all of the items I paid for.
Very disappointed with this whole experience.
