My wife and I have been retired for 8 years, and the financial adviser we had did a terrible job of investing our money, we either had to sell our home that we lived in for 36 years or find another solution. I was pointed towards a reverse mortgage, but the amount we could get wasn't enough and the interest rate was quite high. That's when I started looking at Fraction Mortgage. Their interest rate starts out half of a reverse mortgage rate (then based on appreciation of your home) and funding can be up to half of the appraisal of your home. Everyone at Fraction always kept us up to date on what was going on. A special thanks to Daniel and Glenda for all their help and patience. My wife and I are on the road to financial security again (with a different financial adviser!) Thanks again

BETTER THAN CHIP
Excellent and FAST service from my broker. If you have all your documents in order, it takes only a matter of days to complete the new mortgage. CHIP doesn't come close to FRACTION with the interest rates and gives you more extra money if you need it for retirement on your home equity.

Much confusion in process with unnecessary legal requirements
Secured amount much greater than amount used. That money should be available at minimal legal cost ..........like a mortgage renewal , a 300 fee ONLY

Some improvement needed
The first time I used Fraction was pretty good. The second seemed confused, and the cost of conveyance was way too expensive and not well outlined up front. Unhappy client = unhappy mortgage agent. That process needs to be streamlined and the cost drastically reduced. I suggest allowing the borrower to use the same lawyer whenever possible.

Smooth Application
Application ran very smoothly from start to finish, the quiz and ID verification were easy but with older clients I needed to assist them through the electronic part as they are not computer literate.

An Ideal Product and Process
I find this product (being able to access equity and not having to make monthly payments) as ideal for my financial situation at the present time.
The process was extremely seamless to follow, and the human interaction was cordial and efficient.
