BELLHOP - TERRIBLE MOVING EXPERIENCE
BELLHOP - NOT THE PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY WE THOUGHT WE WERE HIRING I would strongly caution anyone against using Bellhop Moving based on our experience. What should have been a straightforward move turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult ordeal because the movers arrived inadequately equipped and improperly prepared. There is a disconnect between the company you think you are hiring and the people who actually show up to do the work. Bellhop's business model seems to be arranging movers rather than providing a directly employed and fully equipped moving crew.

We hired Bellhop for a move based on a written agreement that clearly specified 5 movers and 2 trucks. On the actual moving day, they sent only 1 person with a single SUV-style van a fraction of the crew and equipment we had contracted and paid $5,000 for upfront. Predictably, one person could not do the work of five, and the move took dramatically longer than estimated. Rather than the company absorbing the cost of their own staffing failure, they are now telling us we need to pay an additional $5,000 to finish the job. Effectively asking us to pay twice for a move that was never delivered as agreed. We are disputing the additional charge and would strongly caution anyone considering this company to get everything in writing, confirm crew size and equipment before the truck arrives, and never hand cash directly to movers outside of official billing. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Bellhop.

Couldn't ask for a better moving company. Kept in contact with roadwork delays. Arrived when they said they would and packed everything into storage. Would recommend them above all else. Thanks to the guys, great service 😃

We had the most professional and exemplary service from father son team Steven and CJ. Quick to respond from the very first quote and very reasonably priced compared to other movers in Cambridge they were the perfect fit for us. Instructions on their website are very helpful guiding you step by step. We followed it faithfully and had a very smooth moving experience with no hiccups. We were moving within Cambridge and finished the move in 2 and half hours. God bless you guys. Keep going strong!
